Well, all I can tell you is that the birth of the thirteenth child heralds the next wave...though it will be small, compared to when all of us awaken...that is when the battle will truly occur...but worry not...the sunstone's child is not due for quite some time...at least another fifteen years...because the prophecies speak of Kero here as well...and not as a cub...

Tam chuckles sourly. "Well, that's a relief to know. Maybe we should just keep Kero a child... He never seems to mind being one." He catches a glare from Hopian and shrugs. "I was making a joke, Hope... leave the soul searching to me, okay? It's what I do best... probably the only thing I can do these days. Mica... a hand please."
Together they move Sharmistra onto a nearby cot, where Mica quickly checks her over. Tam moves back to where Hopian and Kero are and frowns. "Surely you don't want to drain yourself completely into him." He says giving Hopian a hard look.

I can't...blood-bound, remember...the two of us will equalize each other, like water seeking its own level...however, now that you mention it, I think we have equalized...though I want to show the two of you something...Dawnlord...put your hand on my chest...where my heart is.

Tam gives a sour chuckle. "Yea... they beat as one... feel as one... and it has some very interesting side effects, I tell ye. Thank goodness distance seems to dull it a bit or poor Kero here would be one randy little kitty, I tell ye. Hope has no shame..." He winks at Mica who to Hopian's surprise laughs heartily at the joke.

Mica chuckles softly. "I fear I know very little about the subject at hand, I'm afraid... I have chosen to devote my entire life to my Lord, still in all the books I've read... I seem to recall it takes two to complete the act." Then he looks at Tam and sighs. "I suspect there is a tale or two in your appearance as well, is there not?"
Tam snorts softly through his nose and curls up beside Kerobian. "Don't I wish. I was given a gift not to long ago... from the all-father through the voice of the void... I was told I could assume any shape I chose and it would be a true shape."
"And...." prompts Mica gently.
"I needed to talk to someone, so I decided to take a shape she'd know and could understand... only now I'm stuck..."

Let's say I didn't quite get it right. So rather than be one or the other sex... I got slapped with both. After this, I'll probably be able to write a gazillion books on cross gender dressing. Provided I could figure out how to get a garment over me wings."
