Kero looks around...wondering why Phosphate would be high in the river...and does a quick fire spell...to get rid of all the little nasties...they're throwing of the ecosystem anyways*

It is nice to do s quick cleansing, but it would be better to trace the contaminants to their source. Meanwhile Keva is up on his feet, weaving badly, trying to get dressed. Failing miserably he gives up and simply drops to the groun with a groan.

He finds a fairly new pipe leading down to the river from the palace and tracing it back, he sees that it leads to the new remodeled laundry room. Even as he identifies the source, he can feel anther surge in contaminants flowing through the pipe.

*To deal with the immediate problem, he sends a flare of watermagic up the pipe, preventing contaminants from getting loose....he then transforms to a small serpent, and navigates the pipe, seeing exactly what is causing the contamination*

By the time Kerobian reaches the end of the pipe, his eyes are stinging and even his skin is growing irritated. Then just as he sees daylight and starts to stick his head out of the pipe, someone dumps an enormous tub of soapy, bleach water on top of him and washes him back down the drain.

**whoa... What a vision... a dragon pouring up and out of a waste water drain before two small brownies who scream in terror and dive for cover beneath piles of wet laundry. Today was the day to do the palace's linens.

Hearing a familiar voice, Crash peaks out from under his pile of sheets and frowns. "We have to dump it somewhere. Why are you swimming in our drain?"

"Well..." says Champhy after thinking it over a bit. "I think the biggest problem is doing them all at once. But it does help keep things on a cycle if we do. Hanging them in the sun helps to whiten linens though... and I do so love the smell of laundry that has been dried outside. When the twins took over though, they started hanging things indoors so they could work around the clock when they felt like it and in bad weather. I guess there are up sides and down sides to everything. They were doing a better job ov getting things done and all..."

Understood...but they were poisoning the river...I need them to hang their things up to dry outside....or use Firemagic inside....there has to be a firemage around here somewhere....
