*Ignoring the snub, Kero puts markers up right next to the boundary, to warn off the intrepid adventurers...then dives in, rippling into his draconic form as he does, hiding on the bottom*

Averus and Keva walk down to the river, giving Skull Dancer a wide berth. They arrive at Averus' pool, where, Keva strips down and dives in with gusto. After a bit, Averus joins him, wading in with a laugh. The two splash around for a bit, but once again, Keva begins to sniffle and sneeze, even though the water is rather warm. He climbs out of the water and throws himself down by his clothes, a miserable wreck. Even his eyes are watering now.

Keva wipes his nose on his arm and grins weakly at him. "I wish I knew. It's as if the water is making me sick. I don't get it either. I've always been able to swim in this river. What gives?"

There doesn't seem to be anything poisonous in the water, at least he doesn't sense anything, and Averus seems fine, if a little worried at how quickly Keva succombed, far quicker than before in fact. And when the mage goes back to talk to the kitsune prince, Kero sees that he is breaking out in an odd rash.

Keva shows all the signs of having a serious allergy to something either in the water or around Averus' pool.

*Kero immediately moves to Keva's side, glowing red, gold, and green....using three different types of magic to cleanse keva....but at the same time taking a small piece of his flesh to see....exactly what had done this to him*

Nothing seems to be on the skin, though he does have a severe case of the hives. Maybe it is in the water. Whatever it is seems to have been ingested for there is nothing on the skin.

The phosphate level seems unusually high... and because of this several small waterborn life forms that wouldn't normally be present in the river are there in abundance.
