Stella smiled and slid her sandals back on, hopping out of the car when Gage opened the door. Pressing her lips lightly to his, she resisted the urge to take his hand. In case he was planning on going somewhere else. She walked into a cute little boutique that had bright colored clothing and accessories. A smile plastered to her lips as she wandered around the store, looking for something that caught her eye.

Gage stopped Stella just inside the store, and kissed her cheek, he handed her one of his credit cards with a firm kiss to her lips and smiled, walking back out. He found his own store and started shopping, looking around and humming softly to himself as he shopped.

Stella looked at the credit card and frowned. She didn't want to spend his money it wouldn't feel right. She slipped the card into her little bag, hoping that she would forget about it. She stopped in front of the rings and browsed through them, none of then really catching her eye. When she turned away something sparkled in her line of vision and she turned back to the rings, the culprit was a cute little diamond ring. Stella picked it up and inspected if for a little while before changing her mind, it wasn't the right size either.
Strangely enough something about that ring was calling to her. She shrugged it off and walked out of the store without buying anything. She looked around the area until she found a jewelry store. She was slightly shocked to find one here but she ignored the feeling and walked over. Just inside the doors started the little cases of rings, bracelets and necklaces. Stella had been wanting a few new accessories but she could never find the right one. Maybe she would get lucky. Suddenly she started to miss Gage and she frowned. They had been separated for maybe 10 minutes and she already missed him...

Gage came out of the store he'd chosen first and had a couple of bags on his wrist as he continued. He found a jewelry shop and smiled, stepping inside.... He bought one thing before he left and went to find Stella, finding her inside another store... He'd gotten more clothes and a present, but it was for a later date....

Stella was currently looking at a pretty pearl necklace that could go with one of her formal dresses. She tapped her lip and asked the lady behind the counter if she could try it on. She pulled her hair away from her neck and looked at the necklace in the mirror. She absolutely fell in love with the way it looked and told the lady that she was going to buy it. Removing the necklace from her neck she handed it to the clerk and walked to the register, taking her wallet out of her purse. Sliding the lady her credit card, Gage's still in the bottom of the bag. She refused to waste his money on something she wanted. To her surprise Gage had walked into the store just as she was making the purchase, she blushed hoping he wouldn't notice that that was her credit card in the ladies hands. When the transaction was done she took the necklace box and back, wrapping it up and putting it in her purse along with her wallet and credit card. She turned to Gage and looked at the bags that hung from his wrist. "Looks like you did better than I did." She smiled and took his hand.

Gage looked down at the bags and chuckled as he looked at Stella and leaned down, kissing her. "Yes, I did..." he smiled at her and sighed softly "Are you ready to get something for lunch love?"

Stella kissed him back lightly and smiled just as her stomach growled. "Guess so." She giggled and playfully rubbed her tummy. Pulling him out of the store and into the blistering heat. She groaned and looked around for a good place to eat. Finding nothing in the immediate area she pulled him back to the car and hopped in. "So what'd you buy?" She questioned, nodding to the bags on his wrist.

Gage looked at the bags and back at Stella "Some clothes, simple stuff..." he shrugged and sighed as they walked "So what do you want for lunch?"

Stella spotted a cute little cafe that looked like it was probably family owned and naturally started to drift towards it. "Can we eat here?" She had always loved little cafe's and restaurants that were quaint and family owned. She had always wished her parents would have taken her to places like this for her birthday instead of fancy restaurants.

Gage followed Stella into the cafe, smiling. He didn't care if they ate here, or if it looked like he was whipped... He was just happy to be around her. With a soft sigh he waited to be seated with her at his side... One arm wrapped around her waist.

When they were seated at their table Stella sat down and glanced at the menu before looking up at Gage. She smiled sweetly at him and reached out to touch his hand. "Thank you.." Her voice was soft and the thank you could have gone for any number of things. It went for them all. Anything he could think of that she would say thank you to.. It was for that. She was completely head of heels with him and she was shocked at herself for falling that hard that fast.

Stella ordered an raspberry ice tea and a salad before passing the menu to the waitress's outstretched hand. She smiled softly and looked over at Gage. "Later on? Whats happening later on?" She grinned curiously and rested her chin on her hand.

Knowing full well it would drive her up a wall, Gage pulled out the bag with the jewelry store insignia across it. He smiled and then stuck it back in with a faint smile "Just stuff." he grinned and looked up as the waitress came back with their food
