Does anyone else find that the animation for second season has been... different than that of the first? A little less tight and a little more rubbery? Especially in the facial expressions but you can see it in the movement too. The thing that throws me off is that I don't see it happening all the time. Just for major movements and head on facial [removed](for the most part though there are some side shots which are looking more rubbery as well).
It's a *tiny* tad disheartening since one of the primary things I loved about ponies was their animation and they've seemed to have altered it somewhat.
Slight shifts over time were to be expected, the altered intro music really threw me off. *shrug* But I don't want to go complaining just yet. I want to see where all of this is headed. I do think it's awesome that the show's staff listens so much to the brony community, even on small things.

sad I was actually thinking of a few other scenes from the latest episode that called out to some fan art I'd seen around, for example.
As to the animation, I do remember reading quite a few complaints from some people that it wasn't traditional animation, perhaps they're trying to emulate that style?
