Heh, I personally think people take labels too seriously.
I'm not talking about the people who use them, more so
the people who hate them. o-o;
If I had to be labeled,
I think I'd be 'Industrial Rave Goth'?
with a side of old school rock.

There needs to be a proper topic made of this with some more specific kinds of goth, like romantigoth, faerie goth, cybergoth, perky goth, vampire goth, kindergoth, etc...
I myself said gothy goth... because... umm, well, I'm not any of the others, but consider myself a goth. I think of myself as having the attitude of a perky goth, the clothes of a kindergoth (well, when you get enough money to buy me romantigoth clothes, I'll gladly accept them... I hate my wardrobe...) unless I improvise... alot, and the music taste of old school goths, and some soft metalhead.

Personally, I've nothing against labels..if they label me....the only time I get mad is when those who are unable to decide for themselves have to run up to me and scream at me " what the hell are you?!!! a 'GOTHor somethin '????!!!" Only then am I really irritated by the public. I only want to be left alone, people!!

if I HAD to place a label on myself, I guess you could classify it as
"eccletic goth" as I generally don't dress romantigoth, nor punk, nor just plain goth. I find the parts of my oufits from various sources...mostly medieval.

I'm just goth. Not sure what type I am yet but some of my friends say Sophistic or punk but that just depends until I can get some income to buy the kind of shoes I want.

i am neither of those. i am a romantic goth. I have already been out of high school, now subscribing to colleges and trying to see who will take me with my 3.2 GPA. sweatdrop lol. But quite seriously. I am myself and do not follow under any of those categories, my bf and i have come to the conclusion of being "romantic goths" heh.
