::Kallman returned them to the swamp with ease. Hanna immediately got off his back and went to her brother.

::Charlie had been practicing with his bow and Daceria had a barrier up around her. She watched Charlie as he kept missing the old tree that Daceria had told him to aim at. Daceria saw them and removed her barrier and talked to Hanna.

"I see you found him." : biggrin aceria and Hanna were a good distance away from Kallman. "Let me tell you this your brother is improving but he still needs to stay in the swamp. It is yet to dangerous for him to venture out not knowing how to aim. Another thing, about Kallman I know he is very protective of you and if you want to kill Keri but all means please do. I hate her personally and if I didn't have a bounty over my head she'd be long gone." smiled Daceria.

"I'm glad I have your permission. I may have to fight the wolf for it," Hanna muttered, glancing at Kallman. Her gaze returned to Charlie's horrible aim and she winced. "He used to be good with a bow. There weren't many people where we come from who could best him at it. But I suppose turning into a plant for ten years really throws you off balance."

"Yeah I suspose. I don't know anything about bows but I know it took me years to master my magic. My sister is learning faster than I did and I'm the one carrying on the legacy. So do you have more siblings like Charlie? I had a brother but he died trying to protect me. His name was Darkstorm. I miss him, your so lucky that you got your brother back." :: Daceria started to cry she couldn't help it. Kallman was about to come over but Hanna gave him an odd look.::

I wouldn't come over here if I were you her expression said. Hanna turned her back to Kallman and put an arm around Daceria's shoulders, leading her out of sight of the others.
"It gets better," Hanna said quietly. "Ten years taught me that. It never really goes away, but sometimes..." here she took paused breathing softly as she thought of what to say. "If you listen very closely Princess, you will hear his voice when the wind blows. If you look closely enough, you will see the essence he left behind. The air he breathed is the air that we breathe, the sounds he heard are the sounds we hear now. There will come a time, as there always shall, when you will meet again. Until then, he is in the trees, the grass, and the earth. Do not forget that."

:: Daceria sighed to herself. She knew that she was right but still Darkstorm didn't have to protect her. Daceria smiled:: "He lives in me and I will carry on the legacy that way his sacifrice will be meaningful and if I ever have a son his name will be Brett for Brett was Darkstorm's real name. Hanna thank you." :: Daceria embraced her and dried her tears:: "Promise me one thing. Promise me you'll protect your brother now that you have him back. Will you do that?

Hanna's eyes suddenly burned with a fierce light as they met with Daceria's, startling in the heat and dangerous intensity of her gaze, mirroring the blazing honesty of her words.
"I will not lose him again."
She rose slowly to her feet and the trees swayed. Everything seemed to gather toward her for an instant, then release as though nothing had been. She returned to the grove and strode to Charlie's side.
"Let me help you, brother," she said.

"Oh hey Hanna. I never imagined getting the hang of being human again would be so hard. I guess you'll be protecting me the way I used to protect you huh?" ::Charlie laughed. Hanna smiled at him. Charlie gazed at his sister then looked to Daceria. He was very thankful and one day he would pay back his debt to her somehow.:: "Okay sis how do I shoot?"

::Kallman came over to Daceria and whispered to her so the others wouldn't hear:: "The situation with Kedro and Adam how is it coming?" : biggrin aceria looked at him and sighed:: "Kedro still has control and the stupid Keri made him that way and to make it worse he killed my brother. I don't know what to do Kallman. It seems hopeless like my life's been taken away. Every day I'm forced to go on knowing I can't hold the one I love. " ::Kallman embraced her:: "I will bring him back as well as my brother."

Despite the whispers Hanna still heard what passed between the two, but she pretended not to have heard and concentrated on Charlie's lesson. She kept her thoughts to herself, even from him, trying not to shake her head at Charlie's words, remembering those days so long ago and how little Charlie had known about what went on. He hadn't known then that she was one of the greatest hunters the Nation had known for many years, even in her youth. Or that she had wrestled the giant uisce snake with her bare hands and set him free without harm. He didn't know, and still did not know, the power of the water in her blood, or the legacy that came with it. He had called her Water Princess, and yet had not known it was true. She hoped he would never learn it.
"Keep your arms straight. No, Charlie, it is not a stick! Stop, stop. Let's try something else. Slack the arrow--yes, slack," she confirmed after seeing the look on his face. "Good. Now close your eyes."
She watched him do as he was bid and shook her head at his twitching. "Calm yourself, brother. Too much movement bothers the air."
He held still.
"Better. Now. Listen." Hanna closed her own eyes, that she might better explain. "The bow is in your hands. The arrow is still. It is waiting for you to tell it where to go, and what to do. They are a part of you, like your hands and your feet. Feel them with your mind. In your mind you remember, and so do your hands, though they have long been in slumber."
She took his hands, eyes still closed, and guided them to their place. Charlie's hands settled into the bow a little more naturally it seemed. She poised his arms, using his hand to pull back the drawstring. Hanna opened her eyes, leaning closer and whispered in his ear "let go."
His fingers leaped away from the shaft and the arrow whistled into a knob on the tree.

She thought strangely of Ferin as she stepped back. She found suddenly that she did not want to hate him anymore. Charlie was alive...was that all that mattered? No, she decided. Ferin had had a part to play in all that had happened. She still couldn't forgive him. The difference was that now, with her brother beside her, she thought that perhaps someday, she would.

"Kallman I think it is time I returned home. I can't stay any longer." spoke Daceria.
"I understand" was all he said. "Meet me in my sercet spot tommorrow at dawn and we will form a plan" he whispered. She left and he went over to Hanna.
"Hey Hanna is Charlie handling it all right? I mean I know a little about arrows and I might be able to help him." laughed Kallman as though nothing were brothering him but the truth was he was desperately worried that Hanna would discover the truth about him that his brother was Kedro's captive and there was nothing Kallman could do about it. Kallman wanted to tell her so badly but he didn't want her to get involved in his problems. Then there was Daceria she was so lonely. She had feeling got over her trust issues with humans and they took him away from her.

Kedro and Keri were talking outside the dungeon steps and Kai could hear them from where he was. He shackles held him to his bench. The most he could walk was to use the restroom. "Brother when will you come for me" he sighed to himself. He knew the hunters outnumbered his brother 500 to 1 but if he knew Kallman he wouldn't give up so easily. He would do whatever it took to free him. To save him from Death.

foreveryday

It took Ferin nearly an hour to find his way out of the caves that had seemed so easy to navigate on the way in. He tried, and failed, to trace the ghost of Hanna's aura, but the day revealed no secrets. Hanna had vanished like smoke through his hands. Again.
His confusion floated back to the surface of his mind and he tried to figure out what exactly had happened. It could be that Hanna, who was no longer blue, as she had been when he first caught the traces of her aura, was extremely sensitive to magic of any kind. That would go some distance to explain why she could not leave the mirage he had created for her.
The image of her angry face made him blanch and the words "I hate you!" echoed in his head.
Why did she hate him?
He leaned against a tree and wiped sweat from his forehead. It had been a long time, that much was true. After Charlie's death and the escape of the Black Ward, Ferin had tried to catch the evil magician, but he was as slick as oil and difficult to trace. After a few years he had given up the hope of catching him and traveled across the eastern sea, searching for...he didn't know.

Hanna stepped away from her brother and looked at Kallman. "Are you all right?" she asked, picking up on his mood despite his efforts.
Before he could answer, her nose twitched, her eyes flashed, and she seemed to glow. Her eyes went unfocused and blue and she blinked, swaying on her feet. Kallman caught her arm to steady her as she shook her head and looked around, unseeing. Muttering under her breath in the old language she walked away, as though in a trance. By then even Charlie had noticed something was happening and had turned to look.
She seemed to be arguing quietly with someone they couldn't see. With a wild gesture and an exclamation she took off through the trees, running faster than should have been possible, leaving footprints that glowed iridescent in her wake.

"Hanna!" ::Yelled Charlie still unused to his feet. Kallman knew he had to leave Charlie at the swamp.

"I will go after her. You stay here and keep practicing." ::Instructed Kallman as he ran after her. Why was she doing this, did she read his mind and learn the truth. That Kallman was in love with her. Or was it a different truth she had learned. Either way Kallman would find her and track her down. He had a sharp keen nose could smell any humans for thousands of miles away. Just one thing he didn't know Hanna wasn't exactly human....::

((Very nice!))

Hanna followed a glowing shape through the forest, racing to catch up with it as it sped out of reach. Trees moved aside to let her pass and resumed their places once she had gone, but she did not notice. The bright light was all she could see, the only thing that mattered.
Follow me, it had said, and began to move away quickly. She had called for it to wait, and chased after, desperately trying to catch up. It had something important that she needed to see. Terrible things were going to happen, and she needed to be ready, it had said, so she must follow.
The earth opened up ahead of them, revealing a deep, dark tunnel, and the light vanished into it. Hanna followed without a thought and the earth sealed itself behind her, as if it had never been disturbed.

::Kallman ran to where her scent ended.:: "Where is she?" :: Suddenly from out of the shadows Jannette appeared.

"Hello wolf boy. I've heard so much about you from my sister. You are quite charming as she has told me many times. But your a fool to follow her. She will only lead you to despair. I mean shouldn't you be looking for your brother? Don't waste your time around these lands or I'll kill you." laughed Jannette casting a spell that froze Kallman. Kallman tried to move but could not. Jannette whistled and the hunters appeared. They chained him quickly before the spell wore off. They told him and threw him into the dungeon with Kai.

"Brother!" yelled Kai trying to get up forgetting that he was chained to the wall.

"Now wolf boys learn your lesson. Don't mess with the hunters and espically don't enter the land of the wetlands. I suspose I should go and really kill Charlie shouldn't I? It was so much fun turning him into a plant. I should do that to you wolf boy or maybe your baby brother first. So much fun!"
