Anything more dangerous than a sparkler is illegal here, but people still by the big stuff from any other state boarding here... so the law really doesn't hold much water. ^^*

I never understood how people could take that holiday seriously. I mean, the history of it is absurd.

I do not take the holiday seriously. To me, it's a chance for me to rush out and buy fireworks, then make my own. I just like how I can set off tons and tons of explosive devices on July 4 and no one will give me a second look. They would join in and clap, OOOH and AHHH them. But if I were to do this any other day, I would more likely have the police called upon me. That's why I shall be moving out into the country once I have the chance. That way I can do as I please and be left alone.
