IY_and_MCR Current project: Getting two pairs of shoes as an early birthday preasent, without my grandparent's noticing I'm ordering them from a site for drag queens and the like. My god, I love drag queens. Anyway, I'm alive and stuff. Just as in love with boots and broke as ever. We're the same high, same eyes, but you can't borow my clothes all the timeshoes for drag queens? you gotta give me the url razz

Macabre_Cogitation Well! So MAREK IS ON! Wooooot Alrighty now! I have not slept in the past 24 hours! WHY!? DATA LOSS!!!!! Yep, you heard me, I lost all my files, again, for like the 40th time in the past YEAR! Very few people understands what this feels like at the level I do >_< Well, why would I be happy after losing over 200gigs of stuff?! I am now running Vista. I've been a rather anti-vista user until my friend offered it to me. This is a legal copy by the way! So don't go all YOU'RE A HORRIBLE PIRATE! (That I may be, but this is the first legitimate OS I've ever used!) It's sooooo amazing. It could be the sleep deprivation talking, but I dunno. I love the layout, graphical improvement GALORE! It even enhanced my onboard sound. It literally sounds like I'm running an advanced home theater system off my stero. I can feel the bass all throughout my apartment, and that's only at 9! I can go up to 32!!! So, if you have some money, feel like it, have time to back your files up! UPGRADE TO VISTA. And uh....I think I'm gonna go pass out now. GOOD DAY ALL!@ side note: No, I'm not stoned. Note from the *rational* computer nerd of the guild: Do not upgrade to Vista. Vista has the same problems XP had when it came out. It is unstable and full of bugs. Give it another year or so, and then it should be worth upgrading. (Then again, you could just wait four or so more years for the next version.)

I need to rant again, considering none of my 'friends' are answering their phones. I know I shouldn't, but I'm letting one little thing bother me. But first, good new is that I talked to the girl I like, and we've worked things out. Yet, I was just over there getting Windows XP from her brother, and she said to Eleda, "Let's invite Aaron". He's a coworker with them, they all work at Perkins. I'm sure hes a cool guy, but it got me thinking, "Why do they never invite me anywhere?" Seriously, I could stay home for a week and no one would call. And yes, I've talked to everyone about that, but nothing's changed. It seems like things are reverting back to the way they used to be, and its really pissing me off...
...I'm done now...

But I'm finding that it's rather smooth. I have not encountered a problem yet. Sure, changing settings is a bit different and you have to learn how the admin account works, but you get used to that rather quickly. I'm enjoying it much more. I've used XP since it came out and Vista is an improvement! I'm saying that and it's true. ESPECIALLY on a graphical layer. DirectX 10 is AMAZING. But, like ANY OPERATING SYSTEM there is something wrong. Look at Linux, UNIX, BSD, Mac, anything, it's called a learning experience. Vista, not bad for a start off. Really depends on what version you get. It was about just as simple as setting up XP, it even found the drivers to my WAY out of date PCI SCSI card, that surprised me BY FAR. I'm going to start playing around with OS X Tiger next week. So, honestly, Vista is perfectly fine. XP has WAY more problems to date. Trust me, I deal with it day in and day out. Not much of an advancement of like XP compared to ME, but Vista sure helps on a GUI level. Oh, and another thing, not many computers on the market are using Vista's capabilities to the max, which is what makes a huge difference. How about you tell me what you've found wrong with Vista. Seriously, tell me.
