((Will – I save you the trouble of reading what would have transpired with the Balderons.))
Will smiled at Raven’s response, knowing that the Quaking Owl would hang up before he responded. He didn’t need to respond. She got the message and the way she answered him gained his approval, not that she would ever care. Whether she interpreted the message correctly or would use it was another matter. The devil looked at Che with an innocent smile as Sebastian returned with more food for Che.
Without another word, Will dialed again, this time to a certain Annabelle Balderon. “Annie, it’s---“
“Oh, Uncle Willll! You want to come and karaoke over here!” a bright cheery voice sounded in a loud voice. There was some background music of some sort of karaoke event going on int he background.
“Heh. Annie, actually, no. There’s something I would like your help with.”
”Well, is Sebastian there? He can come sing!”
“Annabelle Balderon. I’ll send someone to pick you up.”
“Fine! I’ll help you after you sing with me!”
“Hah. Annie, Sebastian will pick you up. See you soon.” The devil hung up before his blonde niece of many generations coul say anything more. “Sebastian, fetch Annie.”

Kate remained seated and curled up. She didn't want to get up or anything. It was quiet for a moment and then the girl's voice spoke up again, telling her that people needed to eat. "I am not stupid. I know that people need to eat for energy and strength." Kate replied flatly, finally lifting her head up a bit to actually look through some of her hair at the girl, who introduced herself as Keres. Why was this girl being so persistent? It was rather annoying. All Kate wanted right now was to be left alone for a while. Her blue eyes attempted to glare at the emotionless girl after giving a brief glance to the bread Keres held out to her. "What? did you not hear what I said? I am not hungry. And even if I was, I would never touch any food provided by the reincarnation of Satan." After saying that, Kate placed her forehead back down onto her knees, once again obscuring her face. Even though Keres was telling her that the food was 'safe' to eat, Kate still did not trust any food supplied by Will. Besides, she didn't want to have to thank the Satan Owl for anything.
When Keres' hand lightly stroked her hair, Kate flinched out of reflex. She hadn't been expecting that at all. Was this girl obsessed with hair or something? Of all times for someone to comment on her pink hair, Keres just had to pick one of the moments were Kate was all but falling apart at the seams. "Yes... Yes... I am Katherine. What is it that you want? Tell me so that I may answer you and subsequently be left in peace. If it is to eat some food, the answer is and always will be: no." Kate replied to Keres with annoyance and sarcasm rolling off her tone in waves. All Kate wanted was to be left alone and Keres was just being a nuisance to obstruct her from that goal.

Roulin nodded as Lucien ran down the list of Owls that were there with them at the moment. As the cunning, calculating genius gave his assessment of the members amassed, Roulin then nodded even more. Simply put, if Lucien thought that this team, which to The Life Owl was still missing people, was a force in itself, then they were on the right track. What Lucien hadn't taken into account though, more or less because he didn't know, was that Erin was to some extent unstable and Bailey, who Roulin still believed should've had some grasp on her power without the necklace, still needed work in that very area. Jeannie and Sibal, the Italian already knew just from past inference, would follow his old friend to the ends of the Earth and back. While it was nice, the long-haired young man only hoped they knew how to work individually. He didn't need a show or an exhibition to know Lucien's as he'd been there and done that ages ago. The two following him though would eventually have to prove themselves to the grey ghost of Life.
Ironically, Roulin's train of thought was brought out in the form of Lucien's next question. Whether or not the man had been joking, he still felt the need to answer this one and this on in particular. "Heh. Beneath us? There are Owls out there that are ten times our strength surely. It's just now that I'm aware of my own base power and the ones I've gained, I think I could take that Owl on. Confidence my friend." The hotel Roulin had made reservations for was now coming into view finally. Without having to look back, the Owl could feel that everyone was cold. Except for Sibal. He was a robot cat thing after all...Roulin held his apologies for now opting to thank them all in his own little way later. Right now, he only wanted natural warmth and not the kind he could serve himself to thanks to Itachi's ability.
"Heh. It is unfortunate because the girl is going to spiral into nothingness at this rate. And Cecilia? I've given more to her than I could ever give to Raven. I'll leave you to ponder that, bro." Looking over his shoulder at Lucien, Roulin's features which were now pale and shivering in the nipping cold, flashed a weak grin at his old friend. "We will leave once Bailey finishes her training...I don't know how long that'll take, but I hope it doesn't take long..."

Che's remark hadn't even chipped the armor that Will wore tightly around his emotions. One would expect the devil, as vain as he was, to have kicked the Mastering Owl out onto the streets by now. Even Che himself had wondered why he hadn't as that was the goal he was attempting to achieve. He hadn't expected Seb to say anything, but of course, that tall, tall man had to include his thoughts which were actually useful in all honesty. Then Will had to go on and imply that Che was missing something...not that the man knew what the blonde was even getting at. Sure, he'd explained everything he could to him. But, like a father inspecting a room, or a statement depicting ways in which an international, shockwave wielding terrorist could be stopped, there was something out of place. Something just....not...right. The lazy man didn't want to admit it, but lazily as he lazed about on the sofa, the realization lurched into his mind.
"Coffee. Bring me coffee.....I---I can't think like this...." said Che, down playing the epiphany by asking coyly for the dark elixir he knew would jump start him. Even now, his intention was to drink only enough to get him through this meeting with the devil. The younger man paid no attention to his elder as he called up Catherine Turner, leader of The Fallen Phoenix to inform her of Koji's...thing or secret. Some bullshit of the sort. As they couldn't physically fight over the phone, her calling him and even knowing her number meant nothing. Surely, she was just another customer in Will's underground ring of weaponry and gadgets and as an Italian, Che understood that business was business. Besides, they were guns. What in the hell could guns do to Owls? "You." Che snapped his fingers at the butler who stood statuesque at Will's side. "You. Sebby McTall. I need coffee please. Twelve packs of sugar. If there are no packs, then about five cubes please. If there are both....well, then give me both. Please." And finally, the Owl's light purple eyes fell in lock with Will's. Hopefully, he'd struck some cord here with the Maestro. Only in time would he be able to tell though. "Alright old friend, I think I know what you want from me. Hell, I want it from myself. I need to be able to think here....Think this through, issue a plan and pray it all works."

"Sebastian, double the sugar and caffeine and give him Tai's special drink. You can have Tai or Myra bring the drink while you fetch Annie." Will corrected Che's request for Sebastian without looking at the butler. Tai's special drink was some super spicy non alcoholic drink. It would wake Che up fully for sure. The Satan Owl was now playing with a knife in his fingers in one hand. "No need to pray if plans work, Cheani. Come on, Che. Your mind isn't even here right now. You're distracted."

Lucien blinked once, he could see that some sort of building was off in the distance, one could only assume it was the hotel they would be staying at. "It doesn't take a genius to get the gist of what you're saying." He said in reference to his comparison of Cecilia and Raven. He wondered if Bailey needed extra training, then why did Roulin pick her to be apart of this team? He didn't see why she couldn't be but if time was of the essence why take the time to train her when there were others who were already sharpened combat wise. As they neared the building he wondered how long her training would take, she had always been a quick learner but if she had never taken that collar off, then what would it be like if she just out of the blue had the limiters removed from her powers, oh well they would learn soon enough. "Alright, if it's to bolster our offensive prowess then it's for the best." He said calmly.

((NPC---Seb)
“Sebastian, fetch Annie.” Like a knife had been placed in his back, Sebastian’s perfect façade was momentarily shattered with a twitch. “That girl…” Annabelle Balderon was loud, cheerful; a walking headache….and Sebastian couldn’t stand being around her for long moments at a time. To say that the man hated Annie was actually far from the truth. He liked the girl when she was at a safe distance...he was able to put up with her and not forgetting that an order was still an order and the faithful butler would see it followed to the highest standards. Still, the man couldn’t help but wonder what Annie would be like if she were to ever be tainted. She was clever and had a very good blood line…Put a gun in her hand and have her kill someone. That’s what Seb would love to see….
“Of course…” Sebastian’s stiff figure relaxed as he bowed lowly. “I shall have Tai bring you your drinks...” The black haired butler wore a serious expression as he stepped outside the office and proceeded to head down the dark corridor. He was not going to let a brat or a singing crazed woman get in his way of doing a perfect job. He could handle this...he could handle them.
While Tai may have been in Japan that wasn’t going to stop Seb from completing such a simple order, Tai will just have to come on over to America for a while and Seb could have him here in a matter of seconds. “I have not seen that brat in a few months. He has probably gotten lazy…” A smile spread across Sebastian’s lips as he stepped into one of the main kitchens that was currently not in use. “Time to get to work Tai..” Snapping his fingers Sebastian opened up a portal that would lead to Japan…and directly underneath Tai who soon fell through and landed on his back with a nice thud…and for some reason he was accompanied by bags full of random items and food. “Saxton…”
“How nice of you to drop in Tai….And you are just in time to receive some high rated orders” The butler ran a hand through his hair as he stared down at the mess that was Tai and shopping bags. “I need to make one of your special spicy drinks and some coffee….strong coffee with a sharp kick and then take it to Wills office. You have less than 5 minutes to do this. I shall return shortly” Sebastian turned on his heel and left the kitchen without giving Tai a chance to protest or b***h about random things.
Seb could hear the singing before he arrived to where Annie was being kept. He could tell who she had forced into singing with her and found himself internally face palming. “The doorman…of all people” Opening the door which was supposed to be flanked by two highly trained and professional guards, Seb cleared his throat. “Annabelle…I am here to escort you.” His dark eyes looked from the young singing girl to the guards who nearly fell over at Seb’s sudden appearance. “You two…get back to work before I have to fired…” And by fired he meant killed and the men knew that so they were quick to leave when asked.
And then for some reason a microphone was shoved in Seb’s face courtesy of Annie. “……………..” The always working butler had already been through this scene before. On the day he had turned up at the testing facility for VIE in Nevada he had been forced to sing many songs with the blonde female. “No. I am not going through that again..” And so, Sebastian threw the mic away and Sheppard Annie out of the room…
((NPC---Keres))
“If you are not stupid….why are you not eating?” Keres was finding this woman more and more interesting. Kates irritated words and half-hearted glares simply washed over Keres who couldn’t care less. One thing was sure though, and that was the simple fact that this was the longest amount of time Keres has spent interacting with someone other than the usual people. The white haired doll let out a soft breath of air as she let the roll fall from her hand. Looking after humans was a lot harder than it looked and Keres had no intention of babysitting. For a few minutes the white haired female stared at Kate trying to work her out or to gain a small insight into the woman’s mind. “Eat” She said again though it was not a command or recommendation. “….” Without making a sound, Keres stood up and stepped away.
A few minutes later she had returned with a plastic bag full of shop produce. Inside were a variety of snacks and drinks. (Including a tin of cat food because Keres is sooo not good at this type of thing) “These? You will eat?” She prompted as she dropped the bag down in front of Kate. For a small moment Keres’s eyes seemed to flash whiter and glowed before they returned to their normal state. She was starting to get bored and her need to braid or do something with Kates hair was starting to bug her again. One touch was not enough. She opted to bide her time and wait for Kate to relax or at the very least cheer up a bit more before Keres made her move to play with the pink hair….

((NPC - Annie))
"Oh, hey, Seb! I was wondering when you'd come again! Oh, don't fire them for singing! You should sing too!" Annie replied brightly even as Sebastian ushered her out of the room after denying the microphone the chance to accompany the butler. "We're going to see Uncle Will, right? Karoake party in his office!" Despite her cheerful attitude and the potential view that she had been locked up by Sebastian, Annie was pretty docile and warm.
As Sebastian guided Annie to Will's office, she struck up casual conversation and asked how he was and how Will was and so on... Along the way they passed a mumbling Tai who was carrying a bunch of bags and complaining about something. Tai glared at Sebastian in passing and headed to wherever it was that he was going to make Tai special drink and coffee.
"Let's all sing~" Annie said with a beam. "Come on, Seb! Let's surprise them!"--- Che hadn’t been very responsive. Clearly, he was still sleepy and not concentrating on the topic at hand. In the silence that ensued while waiting for Tai, Annie, and Sebastian to come, Will continually played with the knife in his hand and kept his eyes on his student. There was a knock, a door opened, and then a wild blonde Annabelle appeared in the door way…dragging Sebastian. “Uncle Will!” the green eyed girl gushed.
The Satan Owl stood up to greet his sister’s descendant only to be met with an unexpected bear hug, which Daryle might say fit the Annie bear style sometimes. “Hello, Annie…” Why she had decided to hug her this time meant she was going to ask something annoying. “Can you locate some people for me, Annie?” the grey eyed devil asked as he removed himself from her hug and patted her on the head once. “Locate? Did something happen?”“It’s business, Annie. To stop the war.”A wide grin quirked onto Annie’s cheerful face. “Seb and I were going to surprise you all with a song, but he jumped the gun and the door opened. Ah! But now I have a better idea. Before I help you…” Her eyes darted to Che in the room. She was not aware of Will and Che’s relationship. “The three of you should sing a song!”Annabelle Balderon… Will thought sourly. If Annie wasn’t descended from his sister, he would have already manipulated her directly without asking her. The fact that he didn’t was due to respect for his sister and not because his sister, Selis, had nailed him in the crotch once for obstrusively insulting her husband. He eyed Che and Sebastian with the look that said “She’s not going to help us if we don’t do this…” “We’re not at the Copacabana, Annie.”“Sure you’re not! Hit it and with those dance moves too! One two three!”((Edited.))

Looking at Cecilia, Aeon finished her last rib, and most of the margarita was still left. "I guess we can go back home...." she said. She didn't know what was going on with Cecilia but she could tell she was frustrated. Aeon paid for the food and left a tip as she put baby Aiden in the stroller and they all left the establishment. Walking back to the car was a silent one as she soon arrived to the car. "Alright CeCe be careful, I'll see you at home" she told her.
Strapping Aiden into his car seat, she closed the door behind him and stood outside the car. Running her fingers through her hair she opened her door and stuck the key into the ignition, starting the car she began to drive off. The ride home was a quite one. She hadn't spoken to Moli, and she didn't know where her sister was. She needed to find her father as well...maybe she would find him soon
The door was bumrushed with guards, Vincent killing off anyone who ran in. The elderly looking man snapped his fingers as he came to. The two guards who had a kid took out a gun. Amara's eyes widened. They wouldn't kill a kid would they? Unlocking the gun they aimed it at the kid's head. Two guards ambushed Amara as she telekineticly slammed one through the desk and the other to the ceiling. The other two with the kid pulled the trigger as the bullet went through his head, blood and pieces of flesh fell across the floor as the kid lay lifeless.
Amara began to cry, the first time ever in public had she ever cried. How could the UNS be so cruel? Amara's eyes began to glow a dark violet color. She had snapped and her other persona had taken over her mind, she was now the dominant personality. A dark aura surrounded Amara as it had given her a new appearance in clothing. Wearing all black she looked at the man who had ordered the guards to kill the kid. Extending her hand she began to clutch it as the man began to feel his heart being compressed. Clutching his chest the man fell dead. As for the two guards, Amara began to telekineticly rip them to shreads as blood and flesh were now slung across the room.

"Because I am not hungry. If I were to eat now, I would most certainly vomit all over Mister Descythe's priceless carpeting." Kate retorted to Keres' first question, rolling her eyes at the girl's apparent denseness. Kate let out a sigh of her own in response to the dropping of the bread roll from Keres' hand. She watched the bread bounce once or twice silently to the carpet before leaning her head back down on her knees. She could feel Keres staring at her, but said nothing in regards to that. Kate was used to being stared at for no apparent reason. Fortunately, Kate got her wish to be left alone when Keres stood up and moved out of the room. 'Good lord... Finally...' Kate thought to herself in irritated relief.
It was during the time in which Keres was absent from the room that Kate's mind started to wander again. The Eternity Owl sighed once more and looked up from her knees and instead stared at the floor underneath the dining room table. 'Why must it be the world's goal to humiliate me?' Kate thought to herself as she leaned her head back against the wall behind her and stared up at the ceiling now. Within the time she had been left alone, Kate could feel her nerves slowly but surely calming down. Apparently, the distraction of Keres bugging her to eat was enough to help with that.
Unfortunately for Kate, the silence did not last long. The sounds of a plastic bag full of items reached her ears as Keres returned with a bag full of other food items. Kate let out a small groan of annoyance. 'What an annoyingly persistent girl...' Kate thought, her eyes still focused on the ceiling but then drifted down a little to watch as Keres dropped the plastic bag in front of her feet. A sigh of mild frustration escaped Kate's lips. Keres wasn't about to give up in getting her to eat something. "You really won't leave me alone, will you?" she asked looking back up at the ceiling.
Then a thought hit her. Keres seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with people's hair. Kate could use that to her advantage here. After a quick moment of thought more, she moved her eyes to look at Keres without moving her entire head, and spoke up. "If I let you play with my hair, will you stop mentioning food?" She was hoping that the diversion with fooling with her hair would get Keres to stop bugging her about the food.

(Gonna edit Roulin in soon.)
~~~
Che once again regressed into his tired state of mind when Will sent Sebastian to receive a modified selection of what he'd requested. Knowing Will...and Sebastian.........and Tai, there would be something with the smooth black liquid the Italian so loved. Due to this love, no matter what was placed in his coffee, unless he was aware of it he'd drink it. If he knew it wouldn't kill him, he'd still probably drink it. What was purely a liquid form of love to the younger Owl was a crude and dark reminder that he was still just a bushy haired guy. He was addicted to it just as a human would be to any substance they 'loved'.
"Fully? I'm completely distracted....Alfred is taking forever with the coffee and now that I know that I'm going to be guzzling Tai's blend....I'm even more." ******** was not a fan of anything spicy, but what was being delivered was something he knew he'd needed if he was going to see family and his friends to victory. Rolling his eyes about, the upper arc shrouded by his half closed eyes, the Mastering Owl couldn't help but wonder just what Kate was up to. There weren't any explosions or cries...or curses. Kate must've been okay in Keres care. Either that or she was just keeping quiet...After a moment of silence, a young girl that Che had seen only once in his long, long life reemerged again along with Sebastian....Annabelle ******** forgot who I was asking for help.....this can't be your relative Will....can't be...~ Sitting up from just the sound of the girl's voice, Che couldn't help but look at her with the same tired scowl he wore around people like her. Cheerful...blissful in nature almost....yeah, Che was regretting this already, but he knew it had to be done. Looking at Will returning the devil's gaze with one of his own that replied, 'I'm going to punch you in the shins for this....', the upcoming song's second participant arose and stood with a hunch. He'd do his best to dance, but given from his posture and everything else, much motion wouldn't be guaranteed...."Eh Will, I think we are at the Copacabana...the hottest spot north of Havana...."
((NPC---Seb)
Sebastian had no intention of surprising anyone by singing. His eye twitched as Annie nattered on about singing, Daryle, more singing, peace and love, and other random crap that couldn’t be any further away from Seb’s own likes if Annie tried. Well, before Annie could name a song which she would want herself and Sebastian to sing as they enter the room, Seb pushed the door open and nudged her inside. Upon spotting her Uncle Annie ran further into the office and promptly bear hugged the Satan Owl. The exchange of words between Annabelle and William brought a slight frown to Sebastian’s face.
“All of us…have to sing?” That thought alone was enough to piss the butler off. He was not up to the task of having his usual demeanour cracked by singing like some pop star wimp…Unfortunately, the look on Will’s face was enough to tell him that they had no other choice…If they wanted Annie to work he magic in locating everyone…the three men would need to sing “I understand what is needed to be done…” The black haired butler bowed lowly and snapped his fingers.
All the lights in the office turned off for a few short seconds and when they came back on they were a lot dimmer then what they had been before. Sat in Seb’s hands was an acoustic guitar…Will was stood up behind a piano and Seb had even seen to it that Che had an instrument as well so the Italian didn’t feel left out. And that awesome cool instrument was….The Triangle. “I was not sure if you had any experience in playing other instruments…but the Triangle is basic. Like you....So do your best.”
The butler cleared his throat and strummed a few notes out on the guitar. Moments later the guitar was joined by numerous other musical sounds and Will’s piano playing. “Hmph…this…I blame this all on Saxton. He and Annie spend too much time together singing and messing around…” His dark eyes closed and when they opened he was ready to start of the singing…
“Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there She would merengue and do the cha-cha And while she tried to be a star, Tony always tended bar Across a crowded floor, they worked from 8 till 4 They were young and they had each other Who could ask for more?”
And as Sebastian danced, sang and played the guitar he thought of new ways in which he could torture his next victim. After all this singing he was going to need the relief of slicing someone open as a way to vent his annoyance and anger. “Damn girl…If she was a normal woman....Heh...”
((NPC---Keres))
Keres didn’t move an inch when Kate seemingly invited her to play with her pretty pink hair. Instead the doll like female tilted her head as her eyes relayed her amusement. “You won’t eat because you are not hungry….You shouldn’t let the words and actions of others…affect you so much…” Keres, in all honesty, couldn’t bring herself to care about the woman’s internal battle against crying or reacting in any other way after being humiliated back in Will’s office. Yet for some reason she was remaining docile…perhaps it was to save her energy for tonight’s special entertainment… “It is not…worth the effort…”
Keres was still very inexperienced when it came to dealing with others for long moments at a time and the way in which she was expressing herself with words seemed rather basic. Of course, the young looking girl was actually quite bright. She was above Arae and Deimos in ‘rank’ and her experience in killing fighting was above par. So, being asked to actually ‘look after’ someone like Kate was merely a chance for Keres to brush up on her social skills.
Smiling at Kate, Keres finally moved to sit behind the Owl in preparation to play with the Eternity Owls hair. Her fingers were as light as feather as they brushed through the soft strands of hair. Keres had already planned what she was going to do with Kate’s hair and wasted no time at all as she began twisting it this way and that until she had the beginning of a rather pretty French Braid. Well Kate had one thing right, as long as Keres was able to play with her hair she would remain quiet and leave the woman alone to her own thoughts. Of course, once Keres was done with playing what her mood would be then is unknown. Only a few more minutes remained until she would finish with Kate’s hair grow bored and Keres being bored was never a good thing.
((Fal, feel free to elaborate on Tai coming back with the coffee/Tai spicy special and so on. I was vague enough here to leave room.))
And so, Will had gotten stuck jamming on the piano and still dancing to the music beat. While he had attempted to make the excuse that sitting meant no dancing, Annie had glared at him and insisted that he play standing up because she knew he was more than capable of doing that. Annabelle Balderon herself was keeping the beat on bongos and had a camera on her… After Sebastian sang the first stanza and Che sang the second stanza on Rico, it was Will’s turn for his solo. The three of them sang the refrains together.
“Her name is Annie, she was a show girl But that was 30 years ago when they used to have a show Now it’s a disco, but not for Lola Still in the dress she used to wear, faded feathers in her hair She sits there so refined, and drinks herself half-blind She lost her youth and she lost her Tony Now she’s lost her mind! Hahaha…
…At the Copa, Copacabana…. Don’t fall in love…” And then that was it. The awkward moment was over and Annie was being cheerful and clapping. Sometime during the “performance,” Tai had come back with the coffee and drinks and set them on the table.
“That was great, guys! Che, you were totally falling asleep on your feet!” Che had been the sleepiest and the one with the least movement. He probably just looked like he was swaying and about to topple over.
“Annie, time is short. We’ve sung and danced. Now, find these people. Their names are on there if you also want to search by name.” Will leveled his eyes on Annie and pointed to a screen mounted in the wall, which flashed to life. There were photos of practically everyone in TNO and former UNS there.
Annie nodded and walked to the interactive screen. She looked at the photos on Will’s screen and nodded again as she concentrated with her eyes closed. In a moment, she dragged some of the photos on the screen into categories. She pulled Roulin, Bailey, Jeannie, Moli, Lucien, Erin, and Sibal’s into one group. “New Orleans.” She drew Demios and Luca into one group. “Oregon, oh, and Genya is there!”
Will narrowed his eyes. “Genya, hmm? Go on.” That kid was going home to Japan, and Will would put him on the first flight back.
Annie nodded and continued. Next came Cecilia and Aeon. “Alabama.” Then, there was Anya, Nikolai, and Elle. “Washington.” Next came Morgan and Jack, who Will somehow knew of. “Michigan.” Annabelle Balderon also placed the locations of Anderson, Jaylin, and Khalifa. “And Daryle’s in Nagaski!” The blonde charity worker ended cheerfully, even though Will hadn’t placed a photo of Daryle on the screen. Will also hadn’t placed photos of Itachi, Amara, and Vincent because he knew where they were. Amara and Vincent would not be joining them because they had business to attend to first.
“Che, pick a seat before you lose your chance,” was Will’s only warning to his student before people began to appear in Will’s large office. “You can go karaoke with your siblings now. We have business to attend to here.” Everyone was teleported in their respective groups. The people would feel themselves pulled away from their locations. First came those on the west coast; Nik, Anya, Genya, Demios, Elle. Then came the middle of the U.S.; Morgan, Jack, and whoever else there was. Then came Roulin and Lucien’s groups and Cecilia, Aeon, and the baby. Lastly were the people in the area; Kate, Itachi, and Keres. Amara and Vincent were not teleported.
Of course Annie had to look around and await Daryle. She yelled out, “Daryle~ I got a picture and video of Uncle Will, Seb, and Che singing!”
It was just too bad for her that Will didn’t teleport Daryle. Daryle knew when Will wanted him and where to meet them upon notice. The devil had already secretly fried that camera of Annie’s so that the memory had disappeared, namely, the memory on the trio singing and dancing “Copacabana.” “Sebastian, prepare refreshments for my new guests. Tai, take Annabelle home and assist Sebastian. Keres, here.” The devil opened his drawer and handed the doll looking girl a list. "Check on them and please make sure you all have fun." With an all too innocent smile, he turned to people who were newly arrived and watched as some of them regained their bearings. The office was spacious enough that everyone could fit. There were actually enough seats for everyone thanks to the lounge area in the office. "Welcome to Las Vegas. Che's going to talk to you once he stops sleeping on his feet and drinks that coffee. Refreshments will be up shortly. In the mean time, if you'd like some alcoholic drinks, feel free to check the bar." And by bar, Will meant the bar in his office that seemed to stash so many types of expensive alcohol that you'd go nuts searching.
Cecilia relaxed in relief when Aeon didn't question her brief absence. She ate the rest of her meal in silence relieved when they were to finally leave. Aeon left before her rather quickly, carrying Aiden out. Cecilia hoped that the margarita wasn't enough to get her tipsy. It definitely would have been enough for the Azure Owl. Standing up, she plucked her leather jacket off the back of her chair and shrugged it on before weaving her way around the tables and leaving the restaurant.
Once making it to her motorcycle, she straddled it and worked her leather gloves onto her hands where they fit snugly and placed the protective shielded and tinted helmet over her head making sure it was secure before she pushed the kickstand up and revved the powerful metallic bike underneath her to life. Once she was away from the zoo and on the highway, she sped up, weaving in and out of traffic driving like a...what was it the Americans called it? A bat out of Hell? Yes, that was the one. A bat out of hell.
Yet, Cecilia's little ride was short lived as she soon felt a pulling sensation that wasn't painful, but it was slightly uncomfortable. It was as if she was being pulled from her very location by a very large arm. Before she knew it, she was inside an office, but she wasn't alone. Will, Che, a few people she didn't know (Will's minions), Moli, Bailey, Luca, Anderson, Lucien, Moli, Sibal, Daryle, Demios, Genya, Aeon, Aiden, Jeannie, Elle, Erin, Nik, Anya, Itachi, Kate, Khalifa, Jaylin, and...Roulin! They were all here! All alive! Well...almost all of them. Amara and Vincent were missing. There was something else as well.
The motorcycle, which she had been riding upon had been teleported with her and was now in the middle of the large and very fancy office. The Azure Owl pushed the kickstand down and balanced herself upon it as she removed the tinted helmet, which hid her face from an outsider's view and shook out her braid. She stored the helmet away into the compartment on the back of the motorcycle and easily climbed off. She new she probably looked quite odd standing there with a motorcycle, yet she couldn't control the fact that it had been teleported with her. Bailey was silent. After she had spoken her small piece on the happenings in the East Coast, she had nothing to say. At the mention of her training, the young Diclonious Owl's heart was set to pounding rapidly. She struggled to calm her nerves. This needed to be done if she was ever going to realize her full potential. If anyone could take what her vectors could throw...it was Roulin. Even if he was slightly egotiscical, an a*****e, and cocky...he was probably the best teacher that she could have.
The hotel soon came into view. She sighed in relief upon seeing that it was quite nice. But she wouldn't get a chance to enjoy it, for at that moment, she felt the strange sensation that she was being pulled in a completely different direction. She didn't know of the place she then reappeared. It appeared to be a rather large office, big enough to fit everyone in for that was what had happened. It seemed almost everyone had been ported at the same time. Where Amara and Vincent were, she couldn't even beging to guess.
The young Owl looked around at everyone. Her eyes settled on Luca and she let out a soft sigh of relief. She wanted to contain herself, to keep her control, but she couldn't. "Luca!" she cried as she ran forward leaping over the...motorcycle in the room? and threw her arms around the Chain-Gun Owl with such a force that it would most likely knock him off his feet or at least cause him to stumble a bit. She had missed the feel of that metallic arm, even though it felt quite odd at times. She had missed him.
(This is pretty much the reason I'm posting Roulin later.)
Che's slitted eyes shifted to Seb who, like himself, wasn't in the mood to sing or dance...yet, if the world were to be saved, it would just have to be seen as another sidequest in this video game of life. The man's eyes were narrowed now because of slight anger, but mostly from annoyance and embarrassment brought on by this...this stupidity. Shaking his head free of the protests, he attempted to rock from side to side, his tired body almost falling over with each lean. "It looks like all of us have to sing....might as well get ready for this..." Sadly, it had already started by the time Che's throat was cleared. Sebastian was singing his part to a song that the Italian had recognized.
~This song...~ Che received the triangle from Sebastian...why'd he get the guitar? Why'd Will get a piano? Now wasn't the time to whine, although that was high on the list things Che knew he was good at. With the small instrument in hand, the Mastering intended to master this situation for the sake of those he loved. His free hand clenched into a fist. As Sebastian's verse rolled off of his tongue, Che didn't miss a beat.
His name was Rico, he wore a diamond He was escorted to his chair, he saw Lola dancin' there And when she finished, he called her over oh my god... But Rico went a bit too far, Tony sailed across the bar And then the punches flew and chairs were smashed in two just kill me now There was blood and a single gun shot But just who shot who?
Tingling the triangle in rhythm with the music and the lyrics, Che still couldn't find his place here. Not with the two good men because they weren't as obnoxious today as the tired man had expected them to be. And honestly, the song wasn't that bad. It was good enough for Che to memorize the lyrics. Eh, oh well. Now that his part was done, all that was needed was to wait and wait he did. As Will finished his part, Annie did just as she promised and there was everyone that was split up from the Rome incident.
Tiredly, the ancient Owl fell back onto the couch and sighed. His eyes were wide, partly with joy, but that didn't detract from his fatigue any. "Wow...didn't think your powers really worked like that Will....guess I was wrong....business? We can't do business later huh? And thanks Annie...couldn't have done it without you..."
