*sigh* worked until 945 tonight... didn't get home until 10 So decided to go out and sing my throat out instead of feel bad about missing the deadline. OH well, hope the rest of you have fun! I'm gonna go turn some of the themes into pieces that I can sell now though as huge prints. blaugh All digital like too. So still managed the goal of being way more willing to do digital work

Another day with too many themes I liked, and not enough time! ): I went with tears. Like yesterday, it's ink with Photoshop embellishment, but I kind of feel it's an improvement on yesterday (there's a bit of lighting added in Photoshop too), and I used a sharpie instead of a regular pen this time. :3  http://i.imgur.com/PlU8h.jpg

Anne Mine dark pillow Anne Mine dark pillow Last hopeI think I should explain this a little, since the theme is one of those that aren't a specific item... :I I choose the color blue because it's a sad and cold color, but also a calming color. I feel like "last hope" is sad, while "hope" isn't. >.>; And the butterflies that are bright represent the hope, fluttering by. Because I'm lazy I used some brushes for the butterflies. xD On some screens this will probably look too saturated and might have too much contrast... :I Since I know some computers do that to the pictures, anyways, it looks nice on my laptop. razz http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m159/dark_pillow/038.jpg O__________________________________O Y u so awesome? So still managed the goal of being way more willing to do digital work Kai_Chi has hinted that people who missed a deadline or didn't register may still have a chance to get back in the game if they keep up with it... I'm not certain, though. I can definitely understand the appeal of getting to do your own thing, though!

i just finished a commission and my hand is dying so i don't have the energy left to scan and clean this up right now. sweatdrop so yeah here's a terrible quality photo for now of what i got done today; link (for 'tears' theme) it's two of my OCs who wear makeup that looks like tears~ kind of unfinished because i was working on it at lunch today and had to stop when my lecturer came to talk to me about stuff.
i'll get it scanned/finished eventually. college work and commissions are killing me.
