Tam smiles and shakes his head. "Really... ye don't say. Anyway, back to our original topic... which was horse by the way. Shall we call Johnny over and ask about her or not?"

Tam waves the farmer over and does much the same with his own meal, right down to the bones. By the time the farmer arrives at the table, there is not a bite of fish left and the potatoes are practically gone as well.
"So, when are the two of ye coming out to the farm for those equitation lessons?" says the man settling into a chair opposite the two bards.
"Since when did ye start giving equitation lessons... No fancy riding needed, John. All Kero needs is to learn how to be comfortable on his mount and how to take care of her. Haven't had much time to come out... he's been kind of sick, ye know."

Too bad he so short and needs to sit on top of the stool cause right about now Tam has this awful urge to kick at him under the table.
Shaking his head he turns to the farmer. "Ignore him. He's actually quite well. Maybe we could walk out tomorrow, iffin yer free that is?"

The farmer says he's not at all busy right then as he has just gotten his hay in and the only crops that remain in the fields are the kind that need to be harvested daily anyway. He suggests the two come out around mid-afternoon. Then he bids them both farewell and heads on home.
Tam smiles at the cub. "He's a good man... too bad the two of ye didn't hit it off too well to begin with... heh?"

Tam shakes his head and nurses his cider. If he is going to be out at the farm the next day, he doesn't want to be doctoring a hangover at the same time.

Tam rolls his eyes. "Wrong... nothing's wrong, Taro. I'm just being a responsible drinker that's all." He eyes the bottom of his mug with a sigh.

Fortunately there's not much left, which is a dead give away when Tam goes to take a drink, but he decides to watch and see what the cub does with his ill gotten few ounces.
