*Kero nods, chuckling*
I'll keep this form, though....simply out of comfort....now that I don't have to take it...I like it...it's....normal, to me...

Keva chuckles as they walk up the stars. "You've worn it for so long it's like second nature to you. Like Tam and his griffin form. He can slip ind out of it in a blink... but Shia needs a bit more time to take on her dragon and I... I try not to use mine unless I'm forced to. It makes me uneasy and I don't know why."

The study the two younglings have been using to do their late night reading is a smallish affair, lined ceiling to floor with well-loved leather backed tomes. Averus is already there, kneeling comfortably on the floor with an enormous volume opened before him. He is reading, turning the pages when he neefs to with a rubber tipped stick. He looks up as the two enter and frowns.
"What is he doing here?" he grumbles softly going back to his search of the book.
"I invited him, so live with it. Did ye find us one to read yet?" asks Keva kicking off his shoes and removing his jacket. He goes to lie on the floor by the horse, using him as a back rest and picks up the book, resting it on his knees.
"All depends... there is this interesting one about an angel of death and a king... and I also found the one we were looking for last night.. 'Ali and the large member'..." He looks at Kero and sighs. "Guess it's the Angel of death, huh?"

Averus shrugs away Kero's apology. "Keva explained everything. Ye don't have to keep on bugging me about it. Are ye sure ye want to hear this one. It's kind of racy... but funny too."

Keva chuckles and begins the tale which is about two young boys, friends, who have hired themselves out to different masters to serve as cattle herders. How one had become the master's wife lover almost instantly upon his arrival, but the other was being bugged constantly by his master's wife. Then one day the fist lad decides to pull a prank on his friend and at a time when he knew his friend's master's wife was listening, called him Ali of the two yards in a conversation. Of course when the woman hears this, she becomes extremely curious about the boy and soon takes him to be her lover as well.

"Kind of scrawny... " says the horse thoughtfully, then he looks at Kerobian and blushes. "But she has pretty scales."
Keva smirks. "Veru... Veru... oh ye of so little tact. Actually I think she is kind of pretty. A draconoid, isn't she? Not many keep their dragon features when they shift to humanoid form. What sort of dragon is she... blue?"

Nobody knows....and I don't care...although blue is probably her race...I for one could care less...she's the sweetest creature I know...and I love her with all my heart...
*His eyes, which normally seem lost...haunted...now take on an emotion never seen before...Love...he is so obviouslly in Love with Tes that even Averus cannot miss that look in his eyes*

Keva smiles at the mage. "Wish I could have been there for the ceremony, but Ma said someone had to stay here. Ye know... it's really kind of funny. When Tam left home and everyone began to realize he wasn't going to step up and take Dad's place someday, everyone was going on about how nice it was that I'd inherit this place... like that will ever happen... even I was so caught up in the idea... now it kind of feels like a weight on me neck. Everyone else gets to leave and have fun... me... I get to stay home..." he sighs and shakes his head. "Not that I'm complaining all that much... adventures tend to get ye hurt.. like ooTam was the last time he came home..."
