Tam smiles at Hopian. "So... how long are ye in for this time?" he asks with a nod at the two cubs. "It is great you brought her along. Kero has needed to have someone like her around to talk to. I make a mean d. miner... don't have the ears for it."

As long as you want me around...though Salunia will need her mama...and her mama will need her....after a few more hours....as she gets older, she can stay longer...

Tam thinks for a moment. "Hope, yer welcome to stay for as long and as often as ye wish but we'll need to fix ye up some space around here... wait... I know... My room large enough fer two. Kerobian, iffin I promise not to snore too badly, ye want to move yer stuff upstairs? Then Hopian can have yer room for when he's around? I'm sure he wouldn't mind ye keeping some of yer shelves in there, fer yer books and all... but I've got drawer space beneath the bed and empty areas up stairs we can utilize fer the rest."

No...No...perhaps Salunia could stay over, but I miss my snug little cave....once an earth-dweller, always an earth-dweller...I'll visit from time to time...but I won't stay the night....Salunia may, when she is older...that is, if you will have her?

*Hopian asks Kero when he picks up his daughter to leave...and gets a very emphatic nod from the young cub...which sets him to laughing as he fades away, Salunia giggling at the dancing sparks on her father's fur...Kero moves over to Tam, pawing at his leg*

Tam looks down with a smile. "You had fun, didn't you?" he says knowingly. "It is nice to have people around who are a lot like you." Then his smile fades a little as he shakes his head slightly. "A lot of fun..." his words trail off quietly leaving a heavy silence between them.

Tam smiles and starts a tickle match which lasts until dinner. Realizing that neither of them have given a thought to cooking, Tam reaches for his hat and suggests they go to the inn. "I don't know about ye, Taro, but me stomach is about to wrap itself about me backbone. Breakfast was interrupted and lunch flew out the window with Hope's visit. If I don't get something to eat fast, I may start boiling me shoes."

Tam and Kero make a fairly inconspicuous entrance and find a table in a corner, out f the way of most of the patrons. "I don't mind gabbing... and I don't mind entertaining the patrons... but right now I'm starved, so let's eat before we do anything else tonight." he tells Kero with a wink. He orders a platter of deep fried trout and pan fried potatoes, plus two flagons of cider to wash it down. On a second thought he asks Kero if he'd rather have milk. "Not as good with the fish, but ye really didn't get to finish yer bowl this morning ye know."

Tam orders one hard cider and one fresh, then he leans back in his chair to see who's in the main room tonight. He catches sight of the farmer who is taking care of their hore and does a head smack. "Dang, I forgot all about that... you were to learn how to take care of it, weren't you?"
