sickle_bloodless i like shouta. O.O; 15-16 somethings 13 but not 5 or 6 ... O_o; its just odd to me ^ ^;; I also like shouta to a point anything from the teens and up is good for me (13+)

i like 10+ cuz thats when boys start getting randy so its realistic, anything under that is unnatural. and i only like it if they are close to age or if its like a teacher and a student...SNARRY FOR EVA mrgreen

Err I've never seen much 'Shota'....but I suppose if two younger boys around the same age are discovering a new love, it's alright. Though kids at the age of 10 and under with guys that are 18+ is a bit creepy. O_O;

I like shota, but basically only one group's artwork. Luciferhood is very shota-ish when it comes to their art, especially in the doujinshi Silver Spoon...I love Luciferhood.

I like shot too but like everyone else has said, it has to be reasonable. I don't wanna see a 50 year old do a toddler.. I just made myself puke a little. =x=

I have a question. So the age of consent I hear in Japan was 13. So that means 12 and under is considered Shota. But the age of consent in the US is 18.
Question:
1. Should you called it Shota if the boys in the anime/manga are between the ages of 13-17? I mean whenever I look up shota I always get little boys (like age 9) for pics. Since most anime/manga comes from Japan they would consider sex from ages 13-17 as yaoi, or am I mistaken?

I really don't like it, even though it's fictional. Especially since I think of shota as an adult with someone 6-12, not 13-18 xD
13-18 I don't really care about, especially if it's underage with underage.
