Aelgeirr would mutter to himself as Ambra took cover and the others hammered away at the one they surrounded. He'd shout at the tiefling "Stay close to the group." *BAMF* "We'll keep you safe!"

As he was now near the wounded Avenger, he'd snerk, "Does Sehanine chose soft people to champion her? You are harder than that! You are stronger than that! Work through it!"

Aelgeirr would then speak to Thork as he jabbed at the horse, hoping to force an opening the orc could take advantage of. "Get at it! Bring it down. One more for your revenge!"

OOC:
Move action: Feystep to L 25.
Minor action: Inspiring Word at Mercy. She gets to spend a healing surge and add 1d6 to her surge result and recover that many HP
Standard Action: Commander's strike at H2. If successful, Thork gets an attack that does his basic weapons damage +3
To HIt Roll: 7+6=13

ROUND 3

19 - Mercy, Bloodied, 13 damage
19 - Aelgeirr

19 - Bad Horse 2, Bloodied, 26 damage, Oath'd
19 - Thork, 5 temp HP
14 - Bad Horse 3
11 - Bad Horse 4

7 - Ambra
6 - Bad Horse 1
3 - Tafiir, Paralyzed by Fear, 5 Damage, Prone

--------------------

And with that, Thork flew off the handle. Screaming out his rage and frustration, he lay into the horse before him with his glaive, brutally puncturing the creature's hide, bloodying it as it gave a pained, throaty whinny!

The horse engaging Aelgeirr snapped viciously at the Eladrin, but his practiced hand at the longspear allowed him to safely keep his distance. The two would exchange feinting strikes, but so far, neither connected...

Tafiir had less luck; being frozen as he was, he was unable to properly defend himself from the creature, which planted a kick in his shoulder, wounding him for 10 5 damage! Due to his fearful state, he was also knocked Prone!

No change in the map. Ambra, Mercy, go ahead with your turns! Then Aelgeirr's preemptive turn will activate (ignoring the completely superfluous attack roll). If H2 dies before your turn though, you may redo it (but keeping the attack roll you just made if you make one).

Skull Dres, if you don't want me killing Tafiir, you better come post!

Ambra felt a little ashamed of her cowardly display but that horse monster thing had really scared her! She was new to this after all. Still, she felt like had some ground to cover now so she charged up a bolt of fire and threw at Horse next to Thork and Mercy. "Get off my Friends!"

Standard Action: Ambra casts Scorching Burst at square J25, 8 vs Ref on H2 ((Poor Ambra, she must still be shook up from the previous night))

"AAAH SON OF A HORSE DEMON!" she exclaimed in agony, her arm trembling from the wound even after she'd managed to wrestle it free. Her body sang with rage and vengeance, but seeing Thork rip the blighted thing a new one, and Aelgeirr clearly itching to come help put it down, her attention found its way to the paralyzed dark elf once more, clearly in a great deal of trouble. With her presence still providing divine guidance against the unholy beast, she hesitated for just a moment to see what the Eladrin would do.

Action: Mercy holds her turn until after Aelgeirr's turn.
Reminder: Divine Distraction, Allies gain +1 damage against Horse 2 while Mercy is adjacent to it.

Following the command of the now loud elf, Thork swung wildly.

The intrepid avenger hissed in irritation at the Eladrin's "inspiring words", atop their combined efforts failing to take down the horse. If you want something avenged, avenge it yourself. With an angry fire in her eyes, she brought her mighty axe to bear against the vicious best. Saving the hapless elf would have to come later, or avenging him too if he perished.

"Back to the Pit with you!"

Free Action: Inspiring Word heal total 8
Standard Action: Leading Strike for 7 against Horse 2 for THBBT damage.

ROUND 4

19 - Aelgeirr
19 - Mercy, 5 damage

19 - Bad Horse 2, Bloodied, 26 damage, Oath'd
19 - Thork, 2 damage
14 - Bad Horse 3
11 - Bad Horse 4

7 - Ambra
6 - Bad Horse 1
3 - Tafiir, Paralyzed by Fear, 5 Damage, Prone

--------------------

Ambra would let loose with a fire attack against one of the horses! And end up scorching the ground as it nimbly dodged to the left.

Aelgeirr would use his eladrin mojo to slip away from one beast to help put down another. He ordered Mercy to get her act together, and Thork to lay it on thick. The horse nimbly dodged to the right.

Mercy then tried to cleave in with her axe, perhaps being graced with the honor of finishing... nope. Horse bobbed and weaved like a champ.

Myth confirmed: This was the Muhammad Ali of equines!

Having none of your crit, the horse would rear up and attempt to kick Thork. Planting several determined hoofs against his manly chest, he managed to inflict 7 2 damage upon the half-ork!

How will Thork react to this love tap?
PostPosted: Wed May 04, 2016 5:56 pm
Swinging his weapon, in a haphazard reactive. The orc spawn looked down at his chest. "Thork is confused... Kassandra hurt Thork more. Horse no good at battle. Horse like Thork?" And with the confused mind, his bloodlust faded.

Recuperating Strike = 9 (I almost swear the dice, doesn't like Thork raging. So lets swing with it)

ROUND 4/5

19 - Aelgeirr
19 - Mercy, 5 damage

19 - Bad Horse 2, Bloodied, 26 damage, Oath'd
19 - Thork, 2 damage
14 - Bad Horse 3
11 - Bad Horse 4

7 - Ambra
6 - Bad Horse 1
3 - Tafiir, Paralyzed by Fear, Bloodied, 12 Damage, Prone

--------------------

Enraged still, Thork would be goaded into lashing out with his glaive once more at Muhorsemed Ali, unaware of its extraordinary dodging ability. He tried to build momentum with his strike, but failed to do so.

The horse trying to stamp out Tafiir would continue its quest, one heavy hoof pounding down against the drow-blooded's gut, causing him to gasp in pain and cough up some blood!

The other disengaged steed would spot someone who had separated themselves from the group, and suddenly charge through the nearest bush and snap its teeth at Ambra! Luckily, going through the terrain made enough noise to alert her, and she was able to pull a stray hand back in time so she didn't lose any fingers.

Ambra, you're up! THEN Aelgeirr, and Mercy! Tafiir, things aren't looking too good for you!

Aelgeirr groaned as this horse seemed to be nimbly evading almost everything. He tried jabbing the thing with his spear in such a way that if the thing tried to run, Thork would be able to hack at it as it moved. Which it would not be doing much of as the equine dropped to its knees and expired. He would then move next to the horse across from Mercy and Thork, to block it should it try to charge into them from behind.

OOC:
Viper's strike w/ Spear

Damage: 14+1 from Mercy = 15

ROUND 5

19 - Aelgeirr
19 - Mercy, 5 damage
19 - Bad Horse 2
19 - Thork, 2 damage
14 - Bad Horse 3
11 - Bad Horse 4

7 - Ambra
6 - Bad Horse 1
3 - Tafiir, Paralyzed by Fear, Bloodied, 12 Damage, Prone

--------------------

Ambra leaps back as the mad horse tries to take a piece of out her, trying to get herself out of range. Deciding discretion is the better part of valor, she would try to put both distance and terrain between her and the beast to avoid a repeat of the attack.

Aelgeirr would notice something about his current foe. The horse was facing both Mercy and Thork, seeing each of their strikes and reacting with preternatural speed. But he was not right in front of its face; in fact, there was a tree blocking the creature's direct line of sight on him. It was merely a simple act to skewer the beast before him right in its side, delivering a fatal blow that caused it to stumble before falling! One down, he would do a quick hustle to join battle with the next foe.

Mercy, go!

The Muhorsemed Ali's might was too much for her and the orc to handle, but thankfully the eladrin was able to sneak in from the side and end the awful thing's reign of terror. She didn't hesitate at all in shoving her spoiled vengeance from her mind and focusing on preserving a life, quickly darting in the opposite direction one might expect and raising her holy symbol against the corrupted creature and unleashing Sehanine's might upon it.

"In the name of Sehanine you shall NOT claim another life this day, beast! Get over here!"

Move Action: Travel to N27
Minor Action: Oath of Enmity Horse 3
Standard Action: Bond of Censure for 21 vs. Will against Horse 3 to shift it 3 squares towards her, ending next to her for 3 radiant damage.
Reminder: Divine Distraction, Allies gain +1 damage against Horse 3 while Mercy is adjacent to it.

ROUND 5

19 - Aelgeirr
19 - Mercy, 5 damage
19 - Bad Horse 2
19 - Thork, 2 damage
14 - Bad Horse 3, 3 damage, Oath'd
11 - Bad Horse 4

7 - Ambra
6 - Bad Horse 1
3 - Tafiir, Paralyzed by Fear, Bloodied, 12 Damage, Prone

--------------------

Mercy would advance towards the last unengaged steed, only partly closing the distance. Instead, she would use her own divine body influence to lure the fell creature away from the Drow and towards her, while lightly singeing its coat!

Thork, you're next! Here's an updated map so you know where everyone is!

Thork knew he could fight for a very long time, and in most cases would have loved it, but Tafiir looked like he NEEDED Kassandra's aid. So this battle would have to end soon, and the pretty lady gave him an idea(not that kind, well maybe). "Mercy, Aelgeirr; bring horse together. Ambra, know big magic?"

Move one square to the west
Recup Strike =22 against H4 AC
Damage= Roll + 3
Effect: If hits 4 temp. Hp to Thork.
