 "Think it has something to do with Dk?" Listio asked earning a raised eyebrow from Kalen. "Well...i guess those 2 are connected somehow. Somewhat like you and me Rose."

Eric smiled brushing some stray hairs from her face. Reiko's mother walked in seeing this.
"Get away from my daughter!" she said and started to hit Eric with a bamboo pole.
"no sleeping together until your married! You should know better! Didn't your parents teach you better!" she said angrily in Japanese
Eric immediately got up. "Sorry sorry." he said and then bowed. "Out with you!" she said hitting Eric's face with the pole again.Eric got a small bruise on his cheek, he didn't want to fight her, he knew better. "ok ok im out!" he said leaving the room. He then leaned against the wall, his wounds were starting to hurt again from him moving too fast. He exhaled and then rubbed his head, wondering if Kalena was like that when his parents first slept in the same area. X ate some wasabi thinking it was relish, her eyes went big
"HOT!!!"
She then ran off in search of any water to cool down with.Rose smiled.
"Actually.....its much more deeper than even what we are like, Kalen. Kelina didn't want to tell me, but she told me that DK was Kalena's predecessor. Dk is a lot like Kalena in many ways but shes much more....." she then thought of the right word, because when Kelina told her, it was in the most crude way.
"military....in a way.....Dk is a warrior, Kalena is a peace keeper. In a way, complete opposites...but now Kalena has to take on both roles.....the warrior and peace keeper.....I hope she doesn't come back criminally insane like Xenahort was."

"I don't think that will happen. This is Kalena were talking about here. She to kind to go insane." Kalen said with a grin. "Hey were at a festival together right? You think this counts as a legit date?" He asked. Listio had gone her seperate way to explore the festival herself.

"(Mother!)" Reiko yelled in the same language as her mother when she attacked Eric, beginning her argument with the woman. "(We were not sleeping together! He was just making sure I was okay!)" She explained. "Hey! X!" Alex said as she rushed off, probably eating something spicy and not realizing it. He followed her so she wouldn't get herself lost here.

Rose giggled
"yep! I see why not, I just have to keep the kids out of trouble....especially X.....they will never forgive her" she sighed and keeping watch of Amu and Yama.X found a koi pond, she dunked her head in the pond.Alex's father grabbed X by her arms "bad girl! Don't you know any better you stupid girl!" he said yanking her out of the pond X was struggling to get back to the water. Her fire magic started to surround her.Alex's father held her tighter putting her into a choke hold trying to keep X's secret from the other people here. Reiko's mother sighed
"I still don't like him, why couldn't you have dated one of the many suitors."
Eric sighed, he could hear and understand all of this. He took out a rather broken pocket watch, he opened it looking at a picture of his entire family, excluding a few people, but most of his family was there. This was the happier future's picture, not the one he lost Reiko in, then again, he hasn't been to the academy yet, so he hasn't even met Reiko. "lets see....dad....was a king...in some ways....mom...defiantly a princess....grandma is queen....but their place hasn't even been created yet in this time line..." he sighs "time is difficult....but i'd do anything to stay with her." He closed the watch and looked at it, "I need Jaster to fix this."

Amu and Yama seemed to be preoccupied with their constant eating of the sweets being sold. Reiko huffed at her mother. "Because they only wanted the fame that would come from it!" She said, looking at the door. "Why do you hate him? He's shown himself to be just as good as any suitor you've introduced me to!" "Dad! Let go of her!" Alex yelled at his father while trying to get X to calm down and not burn him or anything else. "She just ate something really hot and needed to cool down!"

"I suggest you do as he says sir." Listio said coming up behind Alex's father. "Leave X alone."Kalen shook his head slightly and smiled taking Rose's hand in his. "We'll watch them together then. ok?" He said.

Alex's father let go of X. "its bad enough shes here, if others found out shes here, this festival will be ruined and everything will be in a frenzy." he said X put her head back into the koi pond.Rose saw the commotion and sighed
"aww man. Looks like Alex and Listio are handling it." she rubbed her head. "hes not.....normal. Something about him is off, like hes displaced in this time, like he doesn't belong."Eric went to the door. "your right, I don't belong in this time line but i'd do anything for your daughter's hand. In truth, im just a kid, but ive went thru two different realities, one of hell flames, death and destruction, one...." he paused, he looked hurt. "you are just a child!!!! I knew something was off about you!"Eric looked like he was holding back rage. "no, I am the same as Reiko's age. I went back to my own timeline, the hellfire timeline, thru so much war, I grew into a bitter warrior whos only wish was to prevent that future. I lost everyone, and...." he stopped, He reached for his pocketwatch, there was a small crystal fragment that came from Reiko's grave from the dark future he was to prevent. "I'll do anything to keep Reiko safe, even give my life to keep her safe."

"Does it look like she's causing a frenzy? Does it look like she is a monster? She's not just for your information. To me she looks like an every day normal girl. Now i don't want to hear you talking to her like she is a monster again nor give her the feeling like she is on a leash. Am i understood sir." Listio said in a serious tone as her eyes stared into his as if they were boring through his soul. "She's scary when she's mad." Kalen said looking away from the commotion as he looked back at Rose. "You ok?"

Alex rubbed X's back, trying to help her. "Don't swallow too much pond water. You'll get sick." Reiko sighed, sad now that her mother knew Eric's secret. "Eric..." She said, now saddened that she could have convinced her mother to accept Eric. As he pulled out the watch, she became interested in it and walked over. "What's that?" She asked, curious.

Alex's dad gives a look that looks like hes ignoring her. "I know the monster that she is, I do not agree with my son's decision in dating her, however it is not my life and therefor, I must accept her. Excuse me" he walks off X slowly pulled her head from the pond and looked at Alex, she gave a her nervous smile to him.
"I thought it was relish, not hot hot hot!" she giggled.Rose gave a gentle smile and laughs
"yeah im alright. Listio can be scary when shes angry. Your right.."
She took a sip of some of her drink while continuing to keep a eye on everything
"it just feels nice to be out of the academy for more than a few minutes. When Kelina isn't drunk, shes the headmistress, when she is....I am....but im not really after her job, I just do it because she stinks at it. Shes literally lashed out a new students wanting to test them before they go into the academy. I don't understand why she'd do that."Eric saw Reiko's sad face, he felt guilty and extremely sad now. The pocket watch opened up and there were 2 pictures inside instead of just one. The crystal dropped out of the pocket watch but he quickly grabbed it from hitting the floor, the crystal gave a ethereal glow. "its the watch I kept on me in both futures, good and bad. The bad....Jaster found a old camera and this is what was left" the picture of the bad future looked like everything was destroyed, it was just Jaster in the picture, whom looked a middle age'd man. "He was all that was left, Kalena turned into pure energy to try to restore the light, I lost....everyone else..." Tears were lining his cheeks, he wiped his tears away with his arm, he took in a deep breath "This future, the one im working towards, everyone is alive, everyone. The darkness is kept at bay....all the worlds are at peace. So much love....my mother is a princess...my father is a king....I don't know where that puts me....but im far from how a royal would be. My parents came back with me but mom was kidnapped....dad's searching for her....and I was left in my grandmother's care" Reiko's mother sighed
"Eric. Is this everything that's happened to you.""mostly" he said showing the wrist scarring from the old bindings that finally came off after many years. "the dark future, the one I wish to prevent....it was gruesome." She bit her bottom lip.
"I suppose I was looking for royalty to marry my dear daughter, however....hearing all that you've been thru...one child....thru all that hell....but to see the joy you've brought to my daughter....and what you've done for her and this world....I suppose you are perfect for her....as long as she'll have you."

"This is Kelina were talking about here. She lashed out me when I asked for her blessing to date you. Still managed to hold my own against her." Kalen said with a laugh. "Besides i doubt she'll be lashing out much anymore now that Diz has gone back there." He said. "Are you ok?" Listio asked x as she walked up to them.

"Sorry about Dad." Alex apologized, embarrassed and angry that his father would try and choke X out like that. Alex's brother poked Rose's shoulder and motioned to Amu and Yama that were currently handing from his back. "Are these sons of yours?' He asked. "He's so strong!" Amu said, still hanging form the boy's shoulders. "Eric!~" Reiko nearly shouted as she embraced him, kissing him lovingly almost immediately. "Thank you, mother! I'll always remember this! Just...thank you!

"i wouldn't say son's...More like were watching after them." Kalen answered Alex's brother. "Can i ask your name?" He asked. "Its quiet alright Alex. My father was the same way back then so i know how to deal with his type." Listio said with a small smile.

((so tired, sleep study was hell, the bed they had me sleep in, I woulda rather a hospital bed compared to the real bed but hard as a rock they had me sleep in, if you got questions to ask about yesterday/today, be my guest)) X nodded
"yeah im ok. Ive been handled rougher than that." she saidRose nodded to what Kalen said.
She then looked at Alex's brother
"no, but they are under my care. Can I help you?"Reiko's mother nodded then gives a dark look to Eric
"make sure you treat her right, or they'll be more than me coming after you."Eric nodded "of course." he smiled and kissed Reiko back, he held Reiko gently in a hug.
