[The winged assassin let out an angry screech at Iceears. Her sharp golden eyes pierced into hers. she flew higher and higher until she landed on a high rock. where 2 other eagles were.] 1) "oh hay look! wind brought us some lunch! thanks im starving!" [Right before he could snatch Iceears from her talons she smacked the other eagle on the head with her beak.]
1) "OW! what was that for!?" Wind: "She is NOT food. i have captured her to heal Arrow. she is a medicine cat!" 2) "What! Do you know what Talon will do to you if he knows you had the breezeclan cat in your possession and dint take the chance to kill it? imagine the mayhem Breezeclan would be in if they didnt have a medicine cat! we could do whatever we want whenever we want!" Wind: "I know, but Arrow is more important to me!"
[WInd glared down at Iceears.] "Do you understand? you will heal my mate, not tricks!"

"Then I'll fall back on the clan" she answered sounding like only good could come from this

[When Iceears was dropped on the rock, she looked over the edge, trying to see if there was any way to get down. Her hopes were squashed when she saw that she would die if she jumped. She turned around just in time to see a bird snap at her and unseathed her claws, ready to swipe at the bird if it got any closer. She heard Wind and said,]
"Wind's your name, correct? Well, Wind, how do I know you won't kill me after I heal him or go after my clanmates?"
[Iceears's glare was cold and her tail lashed back and forth. She knew that if she had to fight she wouldn't win, but in these close quarters, she would be able to inflict some good damage.]

The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight looked around in terror as he saw Iceears being held up by a giant bird. It looked like the bird in his nightmare. He couldn't see anyone to help him. Hauntednight yowled.] "Iceears!" ~=============================================~

[The first eagle let out a angered cry, ready to rip Iceears apart!] "WHAT! Did you hear that? are you going to let her talk to you like that! ungrateful pest! you should be glad she didnt eat you on the spot! why you... im going to-" [Wind blocked his vision of the cat by opening her large wings.] "i know sky, but if we kill her then she cant heal anyone... alright cat. if you can heal my mate, i will hide you from Talon and set you free. if you cannot save his life, then i will tear you apart." [She said with cold malice in her voice, an emotionless expression on her face.] "Do we have a deal? its either that or death, at least this way you have a chance..." [One of the eagles turned his head, hearing Hauntednight call out, but they were so high up he could not pinpoint the noises location.] "Did you hear something?" "It was probably just your imagination."

The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight tried to call again but was to late, the birds were already up in the sky. Hauntednight sighed and silently prayed to Starclan that Iceears would be alright. Then he crawled back to Breezeclan, tail drooping.] ((to Breezeclan)) ~=============================================~

[Iceears hissed at Sky and lashed out into the air with her claws as a warning to him that if he attacked she would attack back. Iceears looked at Wind and then said,]
"I wasn't trying to come off at rude, but when having your posible death standing in front of you you don't tend to be happy nor greatful. Hmmm......"
[Iceears said looking down and thinking. She kenw that she would be esily torn up by these huge birds, but she didn't want to help them. Another thing was she knew she couldn't leave Breezeclan without a medicine cat or a medicine cat apprentice. She remembered Dovekit and sighed. Iceears would have to heal the bird. Iceears looked up with a defeated look and spatted,]
"Fine. I'll heal your mate, but to do so you need to bring be back to the ground so I can collect herbs that I will need. You can watch me so you know I haven't run away."

[The other two eagles glared at her with distant, eager for a chance to rip her apart. Wind narrowed her eyes suspiciously and nodded.] "fine, i will bring you down. I will also hide you from Talon, but i will carry you away shortly. you have 10 minutes." [She then picked Iceears up in her large claws and spread her majestic wings. she lunged off the cliff and fell down to earth in a perilous dive. right before impact with the ground she used her wings like a parachute and landed softly in the grass, releasing the medicine cat as her claws touched the ground. she flew up into the trees, watching her with her pircing gaze as she searched.]

[Iceears felt the wind in her fur and thought,]
No wonder Galestar's always wanted to fly. This is amazing! Other then the fact that if Wind doesn't flare her wings at the right time we'd die instantly.
[Iceears felt the cool grass on her feet and was thankful for it. She nodded to Wind and then looked around, she knew what she needed would be some poppy seeds, some goldenrod to speed up the process, a pinch of wild garlic, and some stinging nettle. Once she had gathered all of it she looked at the herbs in front of her and then looked over at where Wind was watching her. Iceears took up as much of her herbs she could carry and nodded to Wind calmly.]

[Wind nodded and gracefully swooped down and snatched the cat off of the earth where she stood. the went high up into the air. the wind carried them high and far as they traveled. Wind flew low into the shadows as Iceears could see more and more eagles soaring and patrolling the skis. Wind quietly avoided detection as she slipped into a large crevice high in the rocks and placed Iceears gently on the ground. there, hidden in the darkness was a large, powerful eagle, reduced to a weakened state as he breathed slowly and shallowly. Wind had an expression of sorrow and love on her face as she approached her mate.] "Arrow, it is me, your love. i have returned safely. i... i brought some help. please let her help you. dont be stubborn this time. think of me. i cant hatch the egg on my own. please dont die and leave us here" [a single tear fell from her face. Arrow weakly opened his golden eyes and laid his on her then on Iceears. his eyes grew wide with shock.] "Wind, did you bring... this cant possibly be the help you speak of! Where is fester? couldnt he heal me instead?" [Arrow glared at the intruder. trying to lift his injured shoulder and broken wing.]

[Iceears looked at Wind with a sad look and suddenly understood the hurt she was feeling. Iceears felt the sting of her memories and when her parents died. Iceears remembered her vow and narrowed her eyes, determined to do everything she could for the eagle, whether he was an enemy or not.]
"Lay down! I'm a medicine cat and I vowed to never let anyone die in front of me and your condition is worse than I thought. Whether you're my enemy or not I know what it's like to lose someone you love so I won't let you die. I'm gonna heal you whether you like it or not."
[Iceears snarlled before approching Arrow. She found cobwebs and laied them to the side for later use. After that she quickly chewed up the herbs and spread them on Arrow's wounds, one being to heal broken bone and heal wounds faster. After she was done with the herbs she put cobwebs over it and tightly wound cobwebs on his broken wing so it would heal properly. Iceears finally set the poppy seeds in front of Arrow and said,]
"Eat them. Also, Wind I will need to stay for a little bit to make sure the wound doesn't get infected and I must treat it regularly for a little bit."
[Iceears seemed to not care that she was talking to her enemy anymore. She had made a vow and she was sticking to it.]

[Arrow snarled at the she cat as she approached him he mellowed down when he noticed that Wind let Iceears approach him her continued to glare at her with distant though. he flinched when she put the healing herbs on the wound and tried not to thrash about. When Iceears told Wind that she would have to stay a frightened expression appeared on the powerful warrior's face.] "That will be incredibly dangerous. If Talon comes he will kill us all. and your sent will start to settle, not to mention our pride and lives or one the line if another assassin sees you here..." [She turned and paced. thinking to herself.] "is it likely to get infected? what are his chances?" [She continued to pace and snarled to herself. it hurt her pride to even ask for a weaker animal's help in the first place but she decided the risk o losing her mate was too great.] "Fine, you can stay! but only for a little while!"

[Iceears looked at them and said,]
"Either that or we meet every once in a while for you to pick me up and take me here. And it's not like a want to stay, but if he gets infected theirs a chance that even if he lives he won't be able to fly ever again. In other words, you need me right now and I promised myself a while ago to never let anyone die in front of me. And I keep my promises."

[Both of them looked at each other uneasily. Arrow nodded, knowing it was safer to let her go than to keep her here. wind nodded in agreement.] "Alright, we will let you go. you are binded by your promise though! and eagles are very strict on promises. I will take you home." [Wind smiled one last time to her mate as she picked up Iceears and dove out of the den, carrying her back to the borders. an ominous shadow followed them watching them from the clouds.] "Where is she going? What has she been up too... is that a cat she has in her claws? why isnt it dead yet." [the assassin narrowed its eyes. she would not dare to bring it hear against Talon's orders would she?" [The assassin snarled as he descended her unsuspecting fellow assassin. he outstretched his claws and swooped down upon them, knocking them around. Wind squawked with suprize and let go of Iceears, letting her fall from the sky ever so closer to a cold, cruel earth that waited bellow.]
