Well she looked a lot different from the Duck she is now xDDD
and of course, that was the original, waaaay before they even thought of drafting it and making new versions, an anime and a manga for it.
I wanna plushie of Duck in duck form! xDDD

since some characters are animals - like Duck, what kind of animals do you think the characters who weren't animals would be if they were ever turned into animals?

I really don't know. In the beginning of episode 13 when the narrator starts to talk with the little creepy story intro. Kreahe was represented as a black swan.
Yes, the narrator creeped me out a lot with her stories and they were always so cheery *sarcasm*. Especially in the first episode, "Once upon a time, there was a man who died....." That really make me feel like a bowl of sunshine. But really I was like this eek

I was like "wth?" creepy, weird, and to me at the time, stupid. And then I figured out that you can guess what happens in each episode according to what the narrator says in the beginning. . .of course, it still got annoying afer several episodes.
I think fakir should be a blackbird =D

I know but really many fairytales really didn't have happy endings with them. Especially, when the reference the red shoes to Rue getting her black shoes. The real story of the red shoes goes like this, " There was a girl who wanted to dance and so she bought a pair of magical red shoes. The girl dance and dance, but then wanted to stop dancing and was going to take the shoes off. Here was the problem, the shoes wouldn't come off and she to continue dancing. Until she brought up the courage and cut her own feet off to release her from the spell of the red shoes."
For something more related, the first couple of heart shards the Mythos gets made me feel like when is that boy going to get a cheery feeling. Like the feeling of bitter disappointment and loneliness and sorrow aren't really the firsts feeling that I want have return to me wink

lol I don't know hardly any of the fairytales on there >_>;;; 'cept like the obvious ones.

I know some fairytales. Just tell you all the Little Mermaid is not a happy ending story what Disney made it out to be.
I would think Rue as canary in cage.

Especially, when the reference the red shoes to Rue getting her black shoes. oh you don't have to tell me, I've been reading Grimm and Anderson since i was old enough to look at the pictures. The Red Shoes was a tale that really creeped me out. TO this day if I'm walking out at night and there's a full moon, I think of the line "look at the pretty dancing shoes!"(from that creepy bald stalker dude in the story) and shudder - I end up going inside immediately. I've got a terrible bone to pick with Disney, because they make the stories all happy. The original ending of the little mermaid is so much better - sad, but so sweet too, don't you think? *shuns all the people who say she committed suicide* she didn't, she was going to turn to foam! She jumped into the ocean only seconds before she was to do so! and don't get me started on cinderella and others. I've got a whole huge rant prepared.

I told my mom about the real ending to the Little Mermaid and she was like I don't like that ending. A lot of the fairytales have bittersweet endings. I don't think the Mermaid committed suicide she just didn't have a choice in the matter.
I also think Mythos has a rabbit.

What is funny the Mythos being a rabbit? That he gives looks like the same look as a rabbit. Plus he so quiet during the first arc. And he acts so much like a prey animal that he get the shard of love dipped into Raven's blood. He is so defenseless until the last episode.
