So the deadline for me at the moment is 5, but if competitions time zone turned back an hour, I'd just adjust my submission time to 4.

romesilk PST, aka Gaia server time. What is the change going to be? If it's earlier, that would be handy, because I could start drawing earlier in the evening. (At present, I end up twiddling my thumbs for an hour and a half when I get home from work waiting for 8pm so I can start thinking about what to draw.) If it's a lot later, like 11pm PST (or even midnight), I could draw after work, so that's also good by me. If it's little bit later, like 9pm, I'd be in big trouble. If I have to start drawing later than I am already, I'll probably get even less sleep, which would be pretty hellish, and there's no way I could guarantee being able to get something done between the end of my workday and 9pm (particularly with LA traffic!!). In total seriousness, the best thing for me would be if the deadline got moved to 8pm EST! I'd have the whole evening to work on my own pieces, and maybe some East Coasters would discover how annoying 8pm can be. cool EDIT: I'm just preparing for all contingencies here! Thinking and planning ahead, since it's the smart thing to do. ninja Thats quite alright : 3 I understand. To be honest we planed on keeping the same hand in time because it would create less confusion that way. But I'm always keeping in mind what you said for our future events. For now, we just want to know the different time zones, so we can start charting out what time zones will be affected on what day, so we can balance out the event and make sure no one looses an hour because of the time change in spring : 3

Because the time zones changes in spring for everyone by one hour at different times. So depending on where your time zone is, your clocks will be set a head one hour either on march 11th, march 25th, april 1st ect.(depends on where you are, but date vary, its not all done on the same day... why... because people like to make things complicated for nothing ._. ) But yea, we just don't want anyone loosing an hour in the event because of this silly none sence
