Opal suddenly collapsed against the rocky ground as sleep took her. Her leg was still aching from it getting cut as it slowly dripped blood. She could care less if wolves found her and ate her as she laid there and slipped into a sleep. She was rejecting any wind that approached her. Who am I...Vaati...I was being selfish...why did I have to leave? What have I done! I'm all alone! she thought to herself. She had a nightmare as Vaati was standing next to Sora. "Go away Opal, Sora's alive! so I don't need you anymore!" he laughed as he turned and walked off as him and Sora were laughing. She stood there as sorrow and darkness engulfed her.
Silver looked over at Shadow as she snapped her fingers and released him. She wondered who Lisaya had chosen. She didn't care that much as long as she could go and rest after.

They agreed to split up to cover more ground. Feel some of his magic coming back, Vaati was able warp away. He felt her nearby but her location was still foggy. He appeared somewhere nearby and called her name out in a weak voice.

Opal ears twitched. "Vaati...." She muttered as she heard his voice. No....he doesn't need you anymore! Slip back into Darkness...you're all alone...again a voice spoke to her. But she hadn't been alone. Vaati was a spark in her life as she stood up. She turned and walked off and suddenly broke into a run. But she had no idea where she was. The wound in her leg was deep as it dripped down her leg. Wind swept up in her face as she stopped rejecting it.

Shadow grinned as he prepared to give Lisaya a hug and kiss her. However when he approached her, he saw that she had a barrier of magic up around her. His eyes widened when he couldn't get past.
Lisaya held her head high and slipped off Helios's engagement ring. "This.. this was a symbol of love that a man had for me." She looked at the ring and smiled.
Shadow began grinning again. She took the ring off.... She was going to reject Helios. He just knew it!
Helios saw her take off the ring and let his head fall to the ground. That was it... the end.. She took off his ring. He began backing up, almost wishing that Dark Vaati had erased his memory.
"And I am keeping this.. on my hand until the day I die. Because, I return that love!" Lisaya turned away from Shadow, not wanting to see him. He acted childish... and never was serious... He reminded her of Dark Vaati a lot of ways. Smiling, she ran to Helios and throw her arms around his neck. "I love you Helios... I truly do... you have shown me everything.. no secrets... confessed your faults... I can't ask for a bigger apology. Your actions show your love."

Silver was not shocked at all as she actually smiled. "Sorry Shadow, but I believe she has made her final decision." Silver said as she smiled. "Now all we need is to find out a way to turn you back Helios. I believe I can...but there will be a slight side effect..." Silver said approaching him. "Every night you will return to this form of a horse...you will not be able to change back until the sun rises...sorry but this is all I can do...I'm sorry, but I cannot do it now...alas, if I did I would wipe out completely...and the spell would be incomplete..." she explained.
( I was thinking about Sonic Unleashed for a while and thought that it would be a great twist ^.^ )

Vaati called out her name again, his voice hoarse. He leaned against the tree. Every bit of energy he regained, something woke him up to make his loose it. "Opppaalll.... where are you?"

((maybe he should be Human at night. That way during the day His Shadow form comes out as a horse. Sorta like the swan princess if you have seen it lol XD))
Shadow's face was unreadable. He clenched his fists, black fire emitting from them. "After... everything... you still chose him..." He said through clenched teeth. His hair fell in his face, and he was thankful... his eyes... were.. leaking? The he realized that he was crying. He wanted to kill Helios, but there was no anger... just an odd feeling he recognized as sadness. He drifted into the shadows. "I truly did love you... I just... did know how to show it to you I guess..." He whispered before he disappeared completely. I won't ever love again... I can never get over her... Oh Lisaya.... why? He cried silently, not caring where he drifted... as long it was away from all the pain.
Helios perked up. What?! He stared at the woman hugging him. She was... crying tears of joy... not the usual ones of sadness. He nuzzled her sweetly, only wishing he could kiss her. She still chose me... she truly does still love me... I .. can't believe it!
Lisaya smiled. She wished she could hear Helios's response then turned to Silver. "You really think it could work?"

Opal listened to Vaati voice as her ear twitched as she saw him leaning against a tree his back turned to as she ran over to him. She hugged him as she felt tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry Vaati! I'm such a stupid idiot!" She said as she felt the tears slip down her face as she hugged him.
"DAMMIT!" a voice shouted as a man was standing in a castle as a cloud that was showing Opal hugging Vaati disappeared. "I had her! but he ruined it! I could have consumed her in darkness! But now she back with him! I could have had her..." He shouted in anger. "The wind goddess...she shall be mine..." He said.
"Yup..." She muttered and yawned again. "Please give me a few hours rest, and then I'll see if I can do it...without killing myself..." She said as she suddenly collapsed and fell asleep.
(I love that movie! Alright, but Silver is too tired to do anything.)

((hehe... I like sonic unleashed... but I like the horsie during the day better. Mostly due to the fact that Elonacia is mostly dark during the year. There are only about 8 hours of light each day. At night, the red moon illuminates the sky. the ther rp put down these principles so eh.. I didn't make up the setting of Elonacia. sweatdrop ))
Lisaya smiled. "You hear that Helios? She can make you human... for a little while. You can still rule Elonacia... with me at your side." She kissed his long muzzle and hugged him again.
Helios couldn't believe his ears... all his dreams would come true... and maybe that dream he had... maybe it would be a dream.. Lisaya would bear his children! He neighed happily then said to Silver. "Get on. I shall carry you back to the inn. You look as though you are going to fall over." He side stepped so he was closer to Silver.

Vaati hugged her back gently. It was only the second time he hugged someone since he went from Minish to Hylian. "Just don't do that again? No one will take your place, alright? You're the only person I'm actually nice to." He whispered.

Silver stood up slowly and leaned against Helios as she smiled as she puled herself on. "Thank you Helios..." She muttered in elvish.
"Okay...just promise...you won't leave me okay?" she sobbed as he hugged her.

((Sweet! I used to be obessed with that movie... and maybe I still am. but still. XD thanks! Oh noes! I forgot about Arious AGAIN! X_X))
Arious shook his head. The others had left and ignored his advice... "Ah well.. it was not like I was really close to any of them anyway. But however, where is the one I am close to? I have some questions for her sweet little mind if she is not too tired." He smiled thinking of the future. She had said after Shrina was defeated that she would marry him. And Shrina was indeed gone. He didn't want to waste time. "Oh dear Silver... where have you gone?"
Helios nudged Lisaya. He tried his best to motion for her to get on too. Her weight was no problem. She hardly weighed 120 pounds soaking wet.
Lisaya finally got the message and climbed behind Silver. She held Silver around the waist to ensure that she would not fall off.
Helios began to trot, then took off into a fast canter. Within three minutes, they were in the stable area of the inn, Helios panting.
Lisaya slipped off the horse and Helped Silver down. She could see the moon was already rising. "You must be exhausted Silver... why don't you go share a room with Arious? It is already freezing out here... it is bound to get colder. Don't worry about me... I think I shall sleep right here tonight, with Helios. I am sure he will keep me warm." She laughed when she heard Helios's enthusiastic neigh. She settle herself down on the ground as Helios lay down on his feet. Lisaya gathered some of the hay around and smiled. It was warm with him next to her. "I shall see you in the morning Silver."

"I promise." Vaati whispered. I think I have enough energy to warp us back. I'll send word on the wind for Taka and Sora. Ezlo should still be at Kaya's, so when we get back, I think he'll keep you company. I really need to sleep but it would be nice if you stayed in the room..." He took her hand, ready to warp both of them.

"Good night Lisaya." She said as she smiled at the two her eyes half closed as she stumbled off. She had never felt so tired in her life as she entered the heated house. Figure Nine was sitting on a chair as she had laid her head on the table and fallen asleep. She walked off trying to find Arious.
Opal smiled as she looked at him and nodded. "You and me both." She said as they warped back to the village.
