Luna looked around and saw that most of the kids were not raising their hands. In fact a few of them looked down right queasy about the idea. Looking back at her Daddy she wonders what she should do. She really doesn't want to leave the room either.,, but Mr. Pargutin seems to think it is important.

Smiling at the large number of unraised hands, Mr. Parguntin nods at the two who have, shaking his head at them, and gently patting Asu on her head.
"Alright, then. We shall stay here for the moment. Does anyone have any questions? One at a time, and remember to raise your hand. Don't talk until I call on you, okay?"

Hir ears flattened in fear. A pat on the head usually signaled a swat next. Shi closed hir eyes expecting a slap or two. Not feeling a hit, hir tail swayed abit. Shi has a slight confused look on hir face. This was new, a pat with out a hit....

Mr. Parguntin looks concerned at her reaction, and gently pets her back, rubbing in small circles as he does.
"Asu, sweetie, there is no cause for flinching here. Hitting is not allowed here at school. Not by students and not by teachers. Nobody is to hurt anyone else while they are on school grounds, okay?"

Shi blinks and looks up at him shyly nodding in understanding and let out a small purr as Mr. p rubbed hir back "m..mew..." hir tail swayed a tad more, but hir ears remained flattened. She was confused at this as shi was never given a pat on the head nor a small back pet

Luna sees the kitty girl's reactions and wonders to herself what was wrong. Why was she so afraid and acting like she was going to be punished? She understood being punished when you were bad. Daddy did that to make her behave. But this strange little girl was acting as though she was punished all the time and she wasn't doing anything. Edging closer, Luna tries to be friendly.
"Hi... I'm Wuna... What's yer nawm?" When the other girl merely looks at her in alarm, she giggles. "Sowwy... I no tawk so good... I gots howles in me teef... See?"
Opening her mouth wide she shows her where she's lost her baby teeth.

Shi looked at Luna and started to wiggle hir tail slowly and then looked down a bit. Shi was never put in a social situation before and was sort of clueless and shy in this one.

Luna on the other hand is extremely social... perhaps a little too social. She loves meeting new people as there were so few on the ship. Even so she knows nothing about other children, only the few she has met since coming to Lyssan's tiny kingdom, plus Luciel and Kero (in one of his moon phases)... but those two are so different than any other child she has ever met, she doesn't really classify them as kids.
Smiling in what she hopes is a friendly manner she settles down to the floor next to Asuna and goes back to listening to Mr. Pargutin. One must always pay attention to the rules if one didn't want to get in trouble. That didn't necessarily mean she'd listen to them 100% of the time, but she wouldn't want to get caught not doing so.

Shi looked over at Luna sitting next to hir and blinked. Shi looked back at Mr. P and listened, hir ears moving periodically listening to sounds around the room. Hir tail slowly swayed every so often as shi listened.

Agro watched Asuna's tail sway back and forth half-listening to Mr. P he watched it sway seeing it as a snake-like food he had a few weeks ago he positioned himself to pounce, then remembered that if he did Papa would be mad and punish him. He finally deiced to stay his hand and started full-listening to Mr. P

And now, with a laugh, Mr Parguntin decides to choose a student to go and get the ball that sits in front of his desk. Taking out a sheet of paper, he writes names on it and tosses them into a hat he conjures from midair, to the amusement of Kero (Who had seen the sleight of hand), and the amazement of the mundane students.
"Now, I am going to pick a name out of this hat...whoever's name I pick gets to come up and bring the ball to the circle...so here we go..."
Picking up the hat, he shakes it around, closing his eyes and reaching into it, pulling out a single name...
((Bill is 1, Asu 2, Johnnie 3, Luna 4, Sally (The only mundane girl) 5, Agro six, and 7-9 is unnamed mundanes...))

shi watched the hat appear and giggles watching as he plays with it and reached in.
Sally Got up and grabbed the ball and went to the circle "ummm now what?"
Asuna saw the ball, and hir tail started to sway quickly. Shi always fancied the rolly things
