((well, if John was a fae, and not a mortal, then Thor probably would challenge him to a duel, not to the death though, but since he is just a mortal, thor would definitely win, so that would be dishonorable. Thor wouldn't be fighting for her hand, he would be fighting to get john to leave her alone.))

*veonica's mom picked her up and gave her a hug* I was worried about you, I wish you would't run off like that. " *she tweaks her nose and Veronica giggles* "you really shouldn't have done that to the doctors office, he must have siad something that really upset you."
*veronica leaned her head on her moms shoulder* "I didn't mean to make such a mess, Stewart just got really mad at him,and the there was troll there, and they are really mean, and I was trying to make sure he didn't do anything in the office, and then I got upset and scared so I left. Do I gotta go back?"

Thor hesitantly crouched down beside her and put an arm around her shoulders.
"Well, I'll do anything I can to help. We're already looking for the people who did that to Li. Life is pretty confusing, and even more so since you've become enchanted. I know when I first chrysalized, it was a pretty big shock, even with a few memories of my past lives. I can only imagine how hard it is for you to go through all of this for the very first time."

She burried her hands in her head. "I just feel so bad for her... I mean, I feel sad but I know this is nothing compared to what she is dealing with. " She looke up at him. "I can tell you lost someone to. But of course not in the same way."

"No, I killed the people responsible for her death. I hunted them down and killed them all. They shot her ten times, but not a single one of the shots was fatal. She was injured really bad though. She tried to drag herself to the phone, but she bled to death before she got there. I was the one who found her, I was supposed to be picking her up for a date. I saw the bullet holes and ran inside. The telephone next to the front door had been shot too, as well as several other things in the room, since they were using semi-automatics. She had gotten to the middle of the kitchen. I'll never forget the look in her eyes when she saw me, but the ambulance got there too late. If I had been there ten minutes earlier, then I could have saved her. Instead, all I could do was avenge her."
