Hey Fuin thanks for asking, thoughs are acctually some greate questions : 3. Were not allowed to advertise offsite websites on gaia, and were not allowed to create threads for the sole purpose of advertising, because its considered spam. So your right about that. However because your not creating a thread to advertise the guild but mainly to post your image and get cretiques on it, this would not be considered spam. I had a discussion about this with a site moderator a while back, and this is what she said.

The reason a user can't have the sole point of a thread or a post be about their commission is that is considered advertising, as well as spam. If a user mentions their commissions in passing, it's really a part of a conversation, not really advertising. 3nodding
Were just leaving the link for users, incase they might be interested, but again the purpose of making thoughs post were not to advertise but to get cretiques on your artwork. 3nodding
As for the question about what happens if no one responds. Nothing, really, you'll still get your reward. Because its not really your fault if no one answers your post. It was just an oportunity to get outside feedback from other users thats all. : 3
