He looked questioningly at his apprentice.] Echosong says her sister Spottpaw is not the killing type...but seeing the blood on her paws...dosen't seem right... "Spottedpaw do some hunting, to see what Sageleaf had taught you so far." [Freezeshadow padded out of the Seaclan camp, his apprentice right behind him.] &#######################################& Water freezes at low temperatures... Hearts freeze of lonely shadows... I've become so numb I can't feel you there

[Dragonfire slnked back into camp along side Freezeshadow, Spottedpaw, Echosong and Foxfire, snarling quietly to herself. she couldnt help but shoot a suspicious glare at Foxfire before padding off on her own. she extended her claws, digging into the earth as she tried to calm herself watching the river and its crystal clear blue water run and the fish swim. her fiery amber eyes looked up from the river and she looked over to see Wuffy. a sly smile stretched across her face as she began to purr. she padded up to the she cat and circled around her.] "So, Wuffy, that was your name right? yes. do you have any other interesting opinions you would like to share. i hear you were a kittypet, which means that you lived with those tall 2 legged creatures as well. did they make you fight too? is that how you have seen so many deaths before? how do you like this place and your freedom?" [she asked, practicably boiling over with curiously despite her sly tone.]

[Wuffy fluffed her pelt as Dragonfire padded up to her, her fur a bright white and gleaming from it's recent wash.] "Yes." [Wuffy mewed sharply, alil' unhappy at the mention of her beastly name. She slowly rotated her head, keeping in time with Dragonfire] "It is. I have plenty of opinions if you really want to know." [She cut off there, not entirely sure...] "I don't understand why everyone keeps calling me a 'kittypet' Like it's a sin." [Wuffy muffled a growl.] "All I understand is either a kittypet is a cat with such good looks, that everyone is jealous of her or annoyed." [Another quick lick and Wuffy started up again.] "The '2 legged creatures your talking about are housefolk. And they aren't always tall. Some of them even walk on all fours, just to let you know."
"The big housefolk were great at serving food, and would almost always serve the most scrumptious... 'Salmon Cuisine' ever. But they had terrible kits and judgment. I get dressed in there hideous, scratchy pelts by that beast of theirs, and they laugh like it's the most hilarious thing in the world!" [Wuffy stomped her paw angrily on the floor, bad memories shadowing her mind like a storm.] "And on top of that, they had to do it in public! I was the laughing stock of the neighborhood! Tis' not right I tell you... I was gobsmacked my their behavior..." [Sighing, she looked Dragonfire straight in the eye.] "They also watched the most HORRIBLE things ever. A Magic Box projected these images. They had housefolk dieing, housefolk yowling like a mad kitten, cats dieing, and just like I said earlier, any animal or thing you can thing of, suffering in pain and misery. I think they were blithering mad!" ['Deep breath.' Wuffy did so, her outlook finally spilled from her mind for the second time. 'I feel... Lighter...' Dropping it from her mind, Wuffy shrugged.] "I can't say it's the bees knees, considering some of the looks I get, and I'm not sure if this is called freedom. I was told to stay put and do nothing. I think its all codswallop." [Another shrug.] "I would be incredibly pleased if someone would have the foresight to notice me drowning and come and help me." ☽♀☾--------------------☽♀☾--------------------☽♀☾  X X X XWhite, the colour of the dove

_______________________________________________________ [Echosong glaned at Freezeshadow, noticing that he looked very strict. She then watched as her sister left with Freezeshadow, letting out a deep sigh. Before Spottedpaw was to leave, Echosong caught her for a second and smiled a bit at her sister.] "Remember...wash off the blood off yours paws first. When you come back get something to eat and maybe a little bit of rest. I want you to meet me by the river right before sun down...we need to talk." Echosong ordered in her gentle tone. [She gave her sister a swift lick on the head and headed over to the fresh kill pile, picking up a mouse. She brought it over to the edge of the river, her usual spot. She placed the mouse gently in front of her and watched the beautiful river once more, letting her stress be drowned by the river's beauty. However...Echosong couldn't enjoy the river anymore. Due to such event...her mind was full of thoughts...and she did not have a single meal today.]

[Dragonfire she huffed.] "i heard a kittypet is one who lived with them am i right? then that would make me one too. although i was never in the same den as them. i slept in a wire box outside with some dog food. hmm Housefolk... is that what you call them i thought they were war gods. so they didnt make you fight? they just dressed you up like they would? sounds humiliating... i thought they were all really tall. i never saw a small one before." [she narrowed her eyes at the strange box Wuffy described.] a magic box? how strange... [she remembered seeing a glowing box the war gods would crowd around ritualistically every night and drink weird smelling water that would make them act stupid, mean and clumsy she never understand because her cage wasent high enough to see what the magic box would show them.] "salmon? they would give you fish! was... was it good?" [ she asked, her eyes full of wonder and curiosity. all she had ever eaten was prosesed gunk the war gods would dump in her little cage and mice that wandered to close. she had never heard of such a life as Wuffys. it sounded like a blessing and a curse at the same time.]

Freezeshadow half heartedly, I gave my sister a friendly lick,
brightening up.] "Ok Sis, don't worry, I'll hunt real close to the
clan, and be careful...don't worry...and ok I will! Bye Echosong
I love you!" [I mewed softly so only she could hear, I padded
away from camp until I was at a nearby river, it flowed with
cold refreshing clear water, fish flowing by the pawful. I
stepped near the end of it, feeling the moisture cleanse my
body until it was fresh and clean, I shook my unbloody pelt off,
feeling happier. I went into a hunter's crouch, quickly swiping
in 2 trout and a good sized salmon, I nodded at my catches as
I padded back into camp, raising my head with pride to my
mentor as I placed them onto the pile of prey, padding up to
Dragonfire meekly, careful nto to interrupt her.] "Hi Dragonfire,
I brought you a freshly caught Salmon! You should taste it, I
promise you it's delicious." [I watched with curiousity, waiting
for an answer form the fire colored she-cat.]

[Dragonfire turned suddenly to face the apprentice. again, she was shocked at how friendly the cats here were. finally, she gave her a genuine, sweet smile. nodding her head in thanks.] "th... thank you Spottedpaw. i dont know what to say. i never had fish before. Wuffy said it is supposed to be.. scrumptious?" [shyly, she bent down to take a bite. her eyes widened at the taste. it was the most delicious thing she had ever eaten in her life!! she felt like she had died and gone to heaven! she smiled widely and devowerd the entire fish.] "this.. this is the greatest thing ever!! where did you catch this!?" [she said with excitement and amazement!]

[Dragonfire laughed at her embarrassed reaction. she smiled at Spottepaw.] "heheheh dont be shy now, i dont bite... um, anymore. thank you im glad to hear you think so highly of me. im couriouse when he will show me around to. im itching to get to know this place. it embarrassing bumbling around like i dont have a clue." [she said looking around at the camp grounds. her tail whipped back and forth. her ears perked when Spottedpaw mentioned that the fish lived in the river.] "...the river hmm?" [she narrowed her eyes and looked away.] great. why in the water, especially flowing water with a current. i want to catch a fish so bad but i dont want them to know that... [she muttered under her breath and began to groom her fiery fur and clean the long scar on her side.] if they knew they would make fun of me for sure, i just KNOW it!

[Dragonfire narrowed her eyes into a scowl when she heard another cat approach her but she softened her glare when she saw it was just Clowdfang. she looked over at her large scare. she knew she only just wanted to help but she always felt shy about accepting any help.] "er, its alright Cloudfang! i feel better! in fact i think im completely cured! yep! no pain here! you dont need to worry about me." [she said a nervous smile on her face hoping that she would believe her poorly put together excuse.]

She was a pretty good hunter.] But not good enough...tsk,tsk. Freezeshadow thought. [He pricked his ears as he heard Dragonfire and his apprentice talking about the camp. He padded up to the both of them and meowed.] "Yes...I'll show the both of you around the camp." [With the flick of his tail he motioned them to follow him. He showed Dragonfire the elder, apprentice, warriors, and nursery dens. Freezeshadow padded to the fresh-kill pile quickly taking a small bird and eating it quickly.] [He took them outside the camp and padded over to the river, looking at his reflection. He sighed as he remebered how cheerful and kind he used to be. Freezeshadow shook his head and looked at Dragonfire and meowed slyly.] "Now...Dragonfire, let's see if you can fish. Be quiet and patient, look for a fish, scoop it up and rip the life out of it... &#######################################& Water freezes at low temperatures... Hearts freeze of lonely shadows...
