Wrong, they change subjects. Yes, eventualy they may come to an end but only when something abrupt stops them or when their long journeys come to an end and they slowly trickle out into nothing, but that takes time. A lot of time. and doesn't happen often since like a river, they lead into larger group conversations. This kids is an example of an extended metaphor. razz
