Stella hugged a pillow and rolled around on the bed, trying but failing to contain her excitement. She had always wanted to drive across the country but her parents were more of the flying type of people. She looked over at Gage and erupted in laughter, purposefully rolling off the bed, causing her to laugh even harder. "I don't know why I'm so excited and happy!"

Gage shook his head, greatly amused as he watched her looking so thrilled "It's alright Stell, you're allowed to be excited... But you'd better get your butt off that floor, cause we're going to get the stuff in the car, and then we'll eat and head out." he swept her up off the floor and kissed her with a grin "So get your butt in something you can wear travelling, and let's go."

Stella changed into some comfortable clothing, and walked over to Gage. Throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him softly. "Have I ever told you that I love you?" She smiled and nuzzled his neck, giggling before prancing away to let him change and get ready to go travel. She danced around the apartment and looked at everything when she realized that unless Gage could afford both of the apartments he would have to let this one go. She frowned and sat on the couch and sighed.

Stella looked up at Gage and her eyebrows knit together. "What are you going to do about this apartment? I mean, can you really afford this one and one in New York?" She looked around the apartment that she had grown to love and then back at the man she had grown to love. She couldn't help but smile when she looked at him, but the frown returned and her mind tried to start running numbers.

Gage chuckled and shook his head "Stella honey, I don't pay for this one..." he shrugged one shoulder "Horatio owns the building, he loans it out to whoever, so if I tell him to keep my place, he'll keep it."

"Jesus.. What doesn't Horatio do?" She chuckled and stood up, grabbing Gage's car keys and her bag. Stuffing the blue teddy bear under one arm and walking outside to his car and shoved her stuff in the backseat, keeping Gage Jr. with her. She climbed in the car and dropped the keys on the drivers seat. Waiting for Gage to get his butt in the car.

Gage tossed his own duffle bag in the back seat and got into the car, snagging the keys before he sat on them. He started up the engine with a soft chuckle "I'm not sure I've found something Horatio won't do...." he shrugged one shoulder as he pulled away from the apartment "Now, where are we going to eat, since we're eating and then leaving... We might want to stop and get something to munch on on the way, and also get drinks..."

Stella looked over at Gage and laughed. "So.. Lets grab Taco Bell and then hit up 7/11 and raid their shelves. Sound good?" She smirked and leaned back in her seat like usual. Laying on her side a bit to snuggle Jr. and watch Gage as he drove. Everything he did seemed to be so... Intriguing. She played with Jr's bow and laid on her back again, staring up at the ceiling of the car. "Should I be nervous?" She couldn't help but feel nervous about going on this road trip with him...

Gage smiled at Stella and reached out, taking her hand with his free one as he continued driving, taking them to Taco Bell "No, you have no reason to fear anything.... None the less this road trip.... Although, we will probably stop for the night in about seven or eight hours..." he looked over once they were done ordering at Taco Bell and smiled "After all, we've been up for a good amount of time already."

"We have been up for awhile haven't we?" Just the thought of sleep made her yawn and she squeezed his hand gently as she did so. Her eyes watered a bit from the yawn and she reached up to wipe away any of the tears that decided to fall from her yawn. When they got their food she slowly took her hand away from Gage's and started to munch on a burrito. Just as she took her first bite her stomach decided to growl and she couldn't help but laugh.

Gage reached behind the seat and grabbed a notebook, handing it to Stella with a pen attached "Write down what you want and I'll make the 7-11 stop as quick as possible... The sooner we get out of town, the further we can get for tonight." he smiled and continued driving as he munched on a crunchwrap

Stella took the pen and started to scribble what she wanted. Cheeto Puffs... Red Bull.. Mint Gum. She scribbled a little heart with his name in it next to each item and held the notebook until they got to 7/11. She handed it to him and set the pen on the dash, curling up and waiting for him to come back with the goodies.

Gage hopped out of the car and within a few minutes he'd grabbed what she wanted, what he wanted, and a mix of drinks. He grabbed one of the little foam coolers and filled it with drinks and ice, sticking it in the backseat. He handed her a bag filled with a giant bag of Cheetos, her mint gum, and his own things; Harvest Cheddar Sunchips, spearmint gum... And both their energy drinks were there as well. He leaned over, tilting her head up to kiss her lips softly, his own nipping at her bottom lip before he laid four or five soft light kisses on her lips and smiled, brushing his thumb down her cheek. "Alright baby, I love you, and we'd better get this trip underway."

Stella sat up and watched the road as Gage drove. Trying to make small talk despite her heavy eyelids. Every once in awhile she would lean over and give him a light kiss on the cheek or lips, depending on how fast they were driving. She desperately tried to stay awake so she could keep Gage company but after everything that had happened in the past few days it was almost to much for her. Finally she saw a sign that read Tuscon, Arizona and her eyes lit up. "Can we stay here? Please..." She yawned at the end of her sentence and looked over at Gage with wide eyes. Her lower lip stuck out a bit in a pout and her eyes looked tired.
