jennibert I need to take out the one who keeps shooting at us, but I don't want to kill him if I can help it. Lad agonizes for a moment, and then the perfect plan occurs to him, He flourishes his rapier and it begins to frost over and then fires a stream of cold at the man standing in his compatriots path.
{Lad fires a ray of frost at Soldier #1. It's a ranged touch attack with a 35 ft ranges. By my best guess, Lad won't need to move to hit with his spell, but if he does he will move the minimum distance to do so. He's still trying to play rear guard.}
{+6 to hit yields an 11 vs touch AC} ((Issue 1, your movement puts yu one square short. Issue 2, you missed.))

Soldier #2 runs full force to go and kill those meddlesome brats.
(Full run action. He is still on the other side of the wall, but he will cross over next turn.)

(Presuming 16 doesn't hit.)
Hur' Oc would finish the opponent off with out a clever remark, or a fancy maneuver. He focused his savagery into a brutal horse chop. The clumsy blow would snag the ceiling as he swung, loosing momentum and just fall onto his armor like so much water.

 Tehila moved up a little, keeping in mind the need to guard Cley's rear. She tightened her grip on her whip, readying herself for the soldiers to catch up. They sounded like they were right around the corner - the wall hadn't kept them away, just bought a few seconds... {Tehila is readying an action to trip the first soldier (aside from the one currently engaged with everyone) who comes within her 15' reach.}

s**t, things were getting bad now. The two higher ranking soldiers ran around the corner an pointed their weapons at the group. They didn't fire, but they all readied to fire.
((Soldiers 6 & 7 double move. MAP posting soon.))
Count Drago felt his way forward, bumping into Tehila and then squeezing between her and Ziya thinking he would be safe, but unknowingly exposing himself to the three foes.
The Extra soldier backed up and aimed his crossbow at Hur'Oc. (+8 to hit) (Critical)
((Anatarei, I really didn't know where you wanted to move to seeing as your in front ...))

{If two higher ranking soldiers just ran around the corner and aimed at the group, why is it that only soldier #1 is still standing with line of sight to the party, and he was just in melee with Justice?}

((That would be because I saved that map prior to the movement of 6&7.
However, Soldier 1 was not involved in any kind of melee attack whatsoever. He attacked Tehila with a crossbow, then Justice moved between him and Drago.
But for your knowledge, 7 is one square below 1, and 6 is diagonally down and left of 7.))

 Leveling Tehila's rapier, Cley gritted her teeth. The plan was to beat a strategic retreat, but that was untenable. It'd have been better to remain where they were and just deal with it then and there, when the situation was apparently under control. But, now that she had a choke point, maybe she could keep them from doing much damage. She charged into melee, the magic rapier singing in the air as she thrust it at the soldier who really should have just given up by now. {Furious Focus Power Attack charging #1 (+12 bonus to hit). Going to roll a second attack, just in case I get an 18 or better on the first d20.}

{Hmmm... 19 may or may not have hit. Assuming it did, here's the damage. 2 (1d6) + 1 (magic) + 4 (strength) + 4 (Power attack) = 11 hp.}

Soldier 1 dies in a large squirt of blood (finally) as the rapier impales him.
((And if your not motivated right now, I just calculated exp w/ leader. Kill em all and get 2,517 exp a piece!
Also I figure I should explain the poll up top. You see, whomever gets the most votes on a fight by fight basis gets a 1.5x multiplier to their exp reward. 3,775 in this case, and its looking like that will be going to Tehila. Likewise, second place gets a 1.2 multiplier 3, 020 in this case for Cley.
Difficult fights reap good rewards folks. Just hang in there a little longer and I'm sure you folks can wipe them out.))
