..What is wrong with these two? They should be in a sense of panic like the rest of the crowds, and yet here they are rational as ever! Duo must be slacking off again..Zant turned and headed towards where the crowds of people seemed more agitated than the others. From behind a seemingly unbreakable wall of people he glimpsed Duo, he grabbed the person in front of him by the collar, lifted him up, and thrust him out of his way. "What is going on? Why aren't these people bowing down to us!?"
"It.. smells like.. rotted flesh!" Link managed to choke out a response even though the stench was gagging him. "Do you.. think we.. should.. check it out?"

Assis listened carefully to the woman, but turned when Zant hurled one of the citizens like a rag doll to the side.
*Bowing to them? Is this man....?*
Quickly, Assis took his sword in his hand, keeping it concealed underneath the tarp. He stretched his arm out in front of Din to stop her.
"Wait..... this is getting serious. You'd better hide. I'll do what I can to separate him from the rest of the people."
For a short moment, Assis turned and lifted the flap covering his face. He looked into Din's eyes solemnly, showing how serious he was in that she needed to get out of the way. In a way, he was almost begging her with his eyes, pleading for her to seek safety in shelter elsewhere. Assis, if he wanted to, could tear this city to rubble in a matter of minutes. Only, he wasn't trying to tear it down. He was trying to save these walls, and the people who inhabited them.
"If you can, try to take as many people with you as possible. Do it quietly, without drawing attention to yourselves."
With that, Assis let the flap drop back over his face, once again concealing his features. He approached Zant from behind, keeping the sword hidden behind the tarp. He would not use his full power until the people had evacuated the area. As quietly as he could possibly manage, Assis inched his way forward until he was within whispering distance. Finally, he took a throwing dagger in his left hand, pressing it against Zant's back. With the red scimitar gripped tightly in his right, he was prepared for anything the man might try.
".....Don't do that."

Duo ripped around, hearing Zant's voice. He let Zelda fall from his grasp and disappear into the shadows. He looked to Zant. "I assumed that you only wated them to bow to you... It is not my place to be their king.... That is your job." He swept into a bow with the words of king. He then glared at the crowds who were whispering. "What do you think you are doing? Bow Damn it!" He sent a wave of energy knocking half of the people off their feet. The people who were unharmed slowly went to their knees silently. He could feel their fear. It gave him pleasure. "Is that better now?"
Jesse nodded. "Definately. I'm sure that is not normal..." He pulled up his collar gagging. His eyes were watering. However he thought to himself. If it was this bad here... imagine the stench when they were close by the source...
Minda rose and made her way toward the sick ward in her castle. There seemed to be an eerie silence. She shivered. Was it cold? Or was it just her. She looked up. Where were the guards?! Something was not right...

Din looked over at Assis, she wanted to shake her head, to beg to stay. But something about looking into his eyes told her that he cared. "Alright... but if, anything happens... I'm coming back. " Diness watched him walk off. Be careful... she thought, wishing she had learned his name. She noticed him distracting Zant and Duo, and people who were unarmed bow to him. She quickly got down, but not to bow to Zant. She crawled, whispering to many people to run for it. She managed to get half of the people who were friends with Diness. Most of them she knew from the bar she would occasionally work at with Telma. She managed to get most of the woman and children out. Looking back seeing many of the soldiers that really did nothing to help this city stay behind. "Hmph! They want a slice of his damn power." She looked back over at Assis, one more glance, just in case she never saw him again. "... I will learn his name..." She murmured, rushing out of the city with those who were escaping, setting fire to the un dead that attacked the citizens.

Seeing Duo treat these people with such utter disregard made Assis' blood boil. The red scimitar in his hand began to glow beneath the tarp. Its light was crimson for a moment, before fading through violet into the bright blue which normally radiated from the crystal. His grip tightened as he considered pressing the blade without a second thought, but he held himself back. With every ounce of strength he posessed, Assis held back the urge to strike. After all, the man at the other end of Assis' knife was obviously the superior in charge of Duo's actions.
Duo, the man who had gone out of his way to make a name for his self. A spectacle in the swirling chaos which pops up every so often. The target firing up the center of any eye which passed across it. This man was making a mockery of these people. Just as well, the so-called guards were feeding into it! Not a single one stood their ground against these men! Obviously, they were no Ganondorf, but history shows of what happens to those who stand their ground against the powerful wretched. Although, Assis wasn't one to dwell in the past. His concern was his mission, the reason he'd come here, risking his own exposure to the public. It was absolutely insulting that such events would be allowed to pass at a time like this.
"Are you listening? Call your subordinate off, or I will end the both of you!"

Duo laughed. "You got to be kidding! And Who are you to tell me to back off? I think not sir." Duo disappeared into the shadows. However his voice bomed as he looked for a certain redhead. "I think you would be more wise to listen to me. I just might mention that I won't hesitate to kill anyone. I sugest you back away and drop your weapons..." Duo emerged from the shadows finding Din running away from castle town. "Now now, I shall need you again for an example.. It's nothing personal..." He grabbed the girl and wrapped her feet and hands in his chains. He then pulled out his scythe from the shadows and held it to her neck. then moved back into the shadows and reappeared in front of Assis. "Like I was saying... I won't won't hesitate to kill someone... like her. How bout? Are you going to let this innocent die?" Duo pressed the scythe at her throat and the other hand to pull on her long red hair, revealing her slender neck.
Cielene suddenly woke up from her sleep. It was a deadly quiet in her room. The air felt stale. Cielene looked around the room, half expecting Zant to be there. But he wasn't. She couldn't shake the eerie feeling off her shoulders. She slowly walked up to her balcony doors and opened them letting the breeze in she tok a few steps forward, and looked about. She sighed then turned back around slowly. She could fel it. Someone was there. Suddnely, she heard a deep voice come from behind her. "It's been a long time... hasn't it...Cielene..."
Kurogane laughed as he stepped off the railing of the balcony and landed in front of her. The man towered over her by almost a foot. He watched as she ripped herself around, staring at him with astonished eyes. He looked her over slowly, admiring how much she had grown... specially in her chest. "Still lovely as always... Tell me, my dear.. Have you missed me? It has been quite lonely on my dark side of the moon... I've to visit you, but it seems your brother has pushe me away..." He then took a step closer, pulling her close to him. "..ah but now.. he is not here... We can spend some time together my sweet..." He looked down into her bright blue eyes, enjoying the fear he was causing her.
Cielene gasped when she saw him. She tried to push away from him, but his large form was cushing her little frame against him. "Let.. me go!" she said shakily. She pushed against again, but found her efforts useless. She glared up at him. "You've destroyed my Kingdom.. slaughtered my parents... and tried to do the same to my brother! I would rather spend the rest of my life in a dungeon than with the likes of you!"
Kurogane grinned. "Ah.. you have always had a tough spirit... I shall enjoy breaking that... I was hoping for a warmer welcome... perhaps a friendly kiss..." He lifted her off feet as if she were a feather and brought her face close to his. She immediately turned away. He scowled. "You shall learn in time to love me... But alas... I must finish conquer your kingdom... or rather, finish setting up MY kingdom!" He cackled as he tossed Cielene over his shoulder. The girl kicked her feet out in protest but he ignored her screams. "Let's go home. I am sick of this place.. I would much refer my own Dark realm o the moon..." He then struck the ground will a ball of black magic that exploded, covering them both. They then disappeared, heading back to the Moon.

(Uh oh Zant! Love Triangle! Dun Dun Dun!!! I wonder what Kurogane will do if he learns Zant possesses the Moon Crystal. Man, this guy makes Zant look like the good guy)
Diness gasped when Duo grabbed her. Seeing Assis face in front of her the moment Duo chained her up and dragged her through the shadows. Feeling the cold blade of the scythe up against her throat. She struggled to pull one hand out of the chains, one hand, that's all she would need. She almost yelped when he took hold of her hair. She still refused to look frighted, or even scared. She glanced back at Assis. Unable to free her wrists from the chains, she knew only one other option. "Cover your eyes!" She shouted at Assis, suddenly bursting into flames before Duo, Zant and Assis' eyes, possibly burning Duo's hand. She reappeared behind Zant and Assis, completely unharmed by the flames that engulfed her. Suddenly flames surrounded around the four of them, lighting up every shadow so Duo or Zant couldn't slip away.
Kuri looked over at Jesse and Link. She was so small she couldn't smell what they were smelling. "What's wrong you two? I thought you wanted to get this done and over with, now c'mon!" The little fairy snapped in her squeaky voice.

((Indeed you are right. He will be very pissed off when he learns that tid bit of information. Oh and way to go making Duo look dum XD))
Duo cursed and covered his eyes just in time before the flash could blind him."Damn you! How could I not have sensed your power?! Surely you are not human!" He opened his eyes and pointed his scythe at the girl. "Surely you will not waste such power on these spineless humans?!" He cautiously took a step closer to the girl. However, he could simply put the flames out by suffocating them his magic. However, he had a better solution. "In any case, I can have you against me!" Duo then disappeared in a puff of back smoke and resumed his shaped behind the gir. He kicked Assis aside efore he could attack. Then with out a word, he turned his scythe and smashed the blunt end of it on the back of her head. He let her fal to the ground. "I pity you only for the head ache you will have later.." He muttered. He then quicky moved foraward and grabbed her motionless body off the ground. He then looked back to Assis. "Now surely you do not want me to hurt her... Specially now that she can't do any more tricks."
Kurogane burst out of thin air in a ripple of Dark magic. His soldiers, who were lazily sitting about, scuttled to their feet. He shook his head. He glanced at his prize over his shoulder. She hd stopped squirming, thankfully. During their trip, she must have fainted from the amount of dark energ he used. Looking to his soldiers, he nodded. "I see you have stormed the castle?" The soldier nodded with toothy grin. "All th' pris'ners are in th' dung'en as yer mag'sty ordered." Kurogane nodded his approval. "Good good... Soon my minions.. The light of the Mon Kingdom will be enveloped in darkness! We shall rule again!" He grinned as the army of dark soldiers roared. The leader then turned and carried Cielene inside the castle.
Jesse sighed at the fairy. "Yeah I do, but that cannot be normal! Don't YOU smell that?!"

Assis stood his ground firmly, refusing to budge as he slowly regained his balance. He stood, staring deathly into Duo’s eyes as the tarp slowly slid from his head, revealing the features of an outsider. No matter, he had had enough of this man’s games. With that, Assis threw the cloak into the air, revealing his entire body, as well as the glowing scimitar in his right hand. The tarp landed in a heap on the ground behind him as he raised the sword sideways into the air, glaring more fiercely than ever.
”…..You’ve no idea what you’ve done.”
He turned the blade very slowly through the air, gradually moving his arm out to the side as he returned the dagger in his left to his belt.
”You coward….”
Assis was pulsing with radiant energy, his aura glowing crimson-red as his scimitar soon changed to match it. It began to glow a red which was deeper than the blood he lusted for. Pity, it seemed as if no matter how hard he tried to stray from this murderous nature of his, it always found a way back to him.
”GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HER!!!”
Without another second’s hesitation, Assis spun the blade into the air, filling the square with brilliant red light. The blast narrowed into a beam which cut through the air overhead, radiating waves of sound which varied in pitch on multiple octaves. Both audibly and visibly, the beam was enough to distract any unsuspecting pair of eyes. Not to mention, the beam itself cut a chunk of stone out of the corner of a building behind Duo and Din. As the stone fell from the building, hurling down toward them, Assis took the opportunity to rush Duo.
Assis quickly darted for Din, jerking the scimitar upward in a motion which knocked the scythe away from Din’s throat. With his left, he wrapped the whole arm around her lower abdomen, prying her from Duo’s hands. He took off down the street with her in his arm, holding the sword down by his side.
*What am I doing? I shouldn't be here, I need to get to the graveyard!*

Din was just darting to run away. Or at least, get away from Duo, but she turned and knocked right into him. Only getting two split seconds to see Assis before Duo took the blunt end of his scythe to knock her out. She felt the ground against her back before she wiped out completely.
She winced when she woke up, her eyes slowly opening to a sharp pain in her head. She noticed she was no longer on the ground, or ever near Duo or Zant for that matter. She was in the arms of the boy in the tarp, the boy she was almost dying to learn his name. Before she truly wiped out, she knew Duo had grabbed her, wishing to use her as a hostage again. Now she was in Assis' arm. Did he... save her? She glanced back over at the intense look she could see from his eyes. Wondering what he was thinking, but quickly closed her eyes before he could look over at her. Not knowing Assis intentions, or if he was the good guy or the bad one. She just knew one thing, he just saved her. Something a guard, or even a man who fawned on her could ever do.

Duo staggered backward. However, then next thing he knew, the man was gone, with the hostage. "Hmph.. He could be a good addition to our team." He wiped his face and snapped his fingers. His scythe melted into the shadows as he looked back to Zant. "In any case... Carry on... I shall deal with that man when the time comes..." However, he paused He felt something. However, it was in back in the Palace. He felt a dark energy... It was very powerful... almost more powerful than his own magic. However, as soon as he felt it, the power vanished. He looked at Zant. "Were you expecting... any visitors?" He asked slowly.
Kurogane laid Cielene on her bed gently. He grinned. How he would love to spend evenings lookin into her eyes. Finally.. he could have his wish. He eaned against the wall, taking in her every feature. However, he wondered where she kept her precious crystal. Soon it woud be in his hands.. and he would have ultimate power over the whole moon... and its beautiful princess...
Cielene blinked her eyes. When she saw her cieling, she felt a wave of relief was over her. "It was a dream..." She murmured.
Kurogane shook his head. "Franky my dear, it was not..."
Cielene felt panic wash over her. That voice... "You... brought me back?" She tried to move, but she felt pain wash over her. The girl fell back on the bed. "what.. have you done to me?" she stammered.
Kurogane laughed. "You've had your first charge of Dark energy... from my side of the moon. You shall get used to it... I'm suprised that you didn't sleep longer... " He chuckled then walked toward the bed casually. "Let me look into those eyes of yours, my dear princess..." e snapped his fingers and immediately, the girl's body floated up and stood in front of him. He took her chin and pued her close. "Ah... I see fear... hatred... hmph.. no hopes of affection for me?" He then slipped an arm around her waist. "Tell me love... where is your treasured moon crystal?"
Cielene tried to take shake her head. "I would never give it to the likes of you! It would be corrupted by your evil!" However, his blood red eyes locked on hers and she couldn't look away.
Kurogane chuckled. "tel me then, my pretty little princess... why do you not threaten to sea me away with the crystal?"

(( Sorry Lisaya I was going to post but I had to dress up like a zombie..you wouldn't believe the weird looks you get when you go into wally world covered in blood XD))
Zant had decided to let Duo take care of the fighting. Why else was he paying the man but to fight the few that dared oppose him. " He would indeed be useful to us seeing as he was able to get away from your incompetent hands!" Yet again Duo had failed him, but that was nothing new. The last thing Duo had said struck him as odd, " Visitors? You mean the ones that just made fools of us?"
Link looked from Jesse to Kuri, they both had valid arguments. He thought for a moment then addressed Kuri, " Why is it that you care not for what is happening at the castle town? Surely the presence of Princess Zelda must cry out to you in some way to make sure her people are safe."

(Question KoKo... how does Link know that... he hasn't set foot in Castle Town let alone know what's going on... Kuri has no idea that Zelda's body was used to attack Castle Town... and I don't think Jesse and Link know either)

Duo shook his head ignoring the insult. "No.. Somewas else was there, just now. But he gone now... The only reason I ask is because I fet dark energy... similar to mine. It was very powerfu... I had assumed he is one of your minions..." Duo raised an eyebrow. Surely he knew who entered his castle. There were spells and such guarding it. How could NOT know who was in your castle?
Cielene shook her head. She would have sealed him away if she had the power of the moon crystal in her hands... but she didn't... that alone made her scared. How would he react if he found out if she did not have the object he most desired? She glared up at him. "Kurogane... Do you think I am a fool to bring out such a precious for you to steal it?!" Despite her brave words, she was shaking. If this man coud kill her parents and almost kill her brother, what would he do to her?
Kurogane laughed. "I see you have gained a brain since the last time we've met." However, his face grew serious. "Though one day, it shall be mine... And just like last time Cielene, I alone will control you. However, I will not make the same mistake as last time. You shall be mine! Alongside me, you will rule as my queen! But alas, seeing that you are full of light and hope, you shall have to become one like myself. Cielene. Look into my eyes... be filled with my dark energy..." He forced her to look at him. Black static popped around him as he forced the magic at her.
Cielene pushed at him, but his magic was binding her to him. She bt her lip to stop herself from crying out. She fought off the darkness that was trying to invade her. "Ngh... stop! Kuro... gane!"
Kurogane wrenched her closer. "Don't fight it Cielene... it is your destiny... you will to use this power..." He scowled seeing that she was resisting him. He then doubled the force of his magic. To his satisfaction, Cielene screamed bloody murder. An devish smile pread across his face as she fell limp into his arms. "You shall have to learn... I will change you..." He traced the small cresent on her forehead resembling the royal emblem of the light side of the moon. Usualy it glowed golden, but now it looked faded and worn. He then traced his own. It was black and turned upside down. "Soon you will be my dark queen. You can only fight it for so long..."
Midna sat in her room, unable to cry. What she had found in her room, made her sick. She could only think of one person that would do that... Anything from stopping her from becoming queen.
