lyssan chuckles softly, in her hands is a scroll which she now tucks away in her sleeve.... i was just about to do the very same thing.... but as i don't have a subtractive magic... i was going to retrieve one of amestru's scrolls.... then she turns to look at the girls... study hard, ladies.... we'll return soon to see just how well you are doing and talk of future events....

i've... i've... neever been spanked.... and... and keva told me it was something really really awful... and... and that paddle looked awfully big.... yer skin is pretty tough rhea... and ye were going on as if it was the end... saying things like it's been nice knowing ye and all... all i could think of is if he hit me... i'd be flattened like a pancake... stammers shia in a soft whisper... the instructor gives her a glare but says nothing... so she grows a bit braver....
maester..... do all master mages spank their apprentices? mine never spanks me... that must mean i'm not a good mage, right... i mean iffin i can't even do anything bad or wrong enough to get spanked..... sad maybe i'm not a good mage myself...

I was scared Kero would really do something to me....he is a terror when he's tryult pissed, Shia...yes, it hurts...but Kero's not going to do any damage...ask him about his scars sometimes.
Shia...the worst I've ever seen Kero give someone was ten swats...and that was a Kitsune pup who tried to kill him. I've never met someone more gentle...iffin he spanks ye, he won't hurt ye.
And ye're not a bad mage....on the contrary, ye're really good...ye helped me draw the circle...that takes some power and finesse...the makings of a good mage. And not all mages spank their apprentices....Kero waasn't even going to spank me, Shia....he was scaring me, that's all...and as for my comments....that was simply me being overdramatic.

Not always...he's a terror when he gets really pissed off...but he's fair...and he does know what to do...he's a good teacher.
But he also keeps his word...so we'd best stop whispering and passing notes before the teacher...

shia rolls her eyes at the teacher's back, then quickly opens her book, inserting rhea's note, and while pretending to read her text, reads the note....
she flashes rhea a quick grin and gives her a thumbs up sign....
