*Kero nods to both questions, then grabs his harp and pipe and proceeds through perfect renditions of them...then jumps as Hopian taps him on the shoulder*
You two need to stay inside tonight...there's going to be a nasty storm...and I need to work with it...and no, Kero...before you ask, you may not come with me...Firemagic won't protect you from lightning...
*Kero grumbles and sits down on his stool...causing Hopian to give him a hug*
Don't worry...afterwards, we can all do something fun together...but I have to take care of this, okay?

Tam smiles kindly at the cub. "Tell ye what, we can watch the storm tonight from me bed. That's one of the reason's I wanted the room upstairs. To watch the stars and storms."

*Kero nods...and that is where they are found that night...watching the lightning flash, seeing Hopian seems to ride the bolts...Kero comments that it looks like loads of fun....and Tam doesn't realize at first...but soon after that...he's gone...*

Swearing a blue streak, he opens the window and crawls outside, shifting into angel form and launching himself into the sky. "Kerobian... come back here!" he sends in a general call. "Hope we have an awol cub on our hands... ack! Incoming!" Then laughter, wild but controlled. "Dang I hate the smell of burning feathers..."

*Hopian surges past, holding on to a bolt for dear life*
Get him out of here...there's a tornado!!! He's exactly 2537 feet to your port side...can't miss him...that crescent is shining like the moon...he's begging for me to play with him...
*Comes back, having redirected the bolt*
He needs to be inside...I can control the tornado...make sure it harms no edifices...but not if I'm worrying about my brother...*Hops onto a bolt that's headed for the temple, pulling it out of alignment and sending it into the mountains*...Okay...get him inside....

Tam laughs wildly and darts through the storm to Kerobian's side. "We're in for a blow, I'm afraid... And unless you want to go for a very dangerous ride, we need to take shelter." He grabs hold of the cub and flies straight up above the storm and hovers there with him looking down. "Man, that's a big one."

*Hopian comes shooting out of the clouds....and the storm is mirrored in his expression...he doesn't say anything...but points Tam down to their house*
Please...go...I can't redirect lightning itself unless you are safe in the house....

Tam shakes his head with a laugh. "We're safe. Trust me, Hope. I used to play in this stuff all the time. Better get back to what you want to do... Keeping him in is going to be hard, this way he can see it and well... I get to have a bit of fun, too. Go..."

*Hopian goes to redirecting Lightning....but he can't redirect it all...and Tam sees why hopian was worried...the updrafts and downdrafts generated by the tornado are insane...and when a bolt Hopian misseed shears past them, Kero screams in fear*

Tam returns him safely to the room then darts back into the heavens doing loops around bolts and teasing Hopian, until he builds up so much static discharge he's literally crackling with energy. He yells to Hopian to cover his eyes, spreads out his wings arms and legs, throws back his head and releases it all in a burst of mind boggling energy, blinding light pours from him in waves, then everything is quiet... save for the sound of the wind and a gently falling rain. Laughing like a maniac, he flies back to the cottage and lands on the roof, peeking in the window he gives Kerobian a wink then goes to sit on the roof, waiting for Hopian's scolding.
