Shia sighs and sits for a bit in the darkness of the room, but she isn't at all tired. Calling up a small ball of light, she undoes the bedroll onto her pallet and climbs withint, pulling out the black book Kero had given her wondering if there was anything in it that might give her a handle on how to deal with Kero's less than savory brother.

*She finds that Kero had made additions to the instruction booklet on Voidmagic...in the back cover, she finds a book on how shadowmagic affects an individual, as well as a book for women....on how to mate with a man...there is a note from Kero as well*
Shia....I know the latter book will shock you...but my brother's main weakness is his lust...the way to his heart is not through his stomach...but lower....although he enjoys a good meal like anyone else...hopefully, this book will help you to tame him...I wish you the best of luck
Now...a warning....As I said earlier, Emnast is consumed by lust...driven there by Shadowmagic...I have a bond into his mind...much like I have with Hopian....and I caught a glimpse of a plan he has...if you do not lie with him by the third day of your abduction, he will force you...I'm sorry about having to be the bearer of bad news, but that is how it is...you must lie with him by the night of your second day, or he will hurt you...possibly even kill you...
Again...I am sorry about this...and this note will curl itself up when you read it, pretending to be the last page in the book...good luck, apprentice.

SHia sighs sadly and closes the book, wondering if Kerobian truly knew everything that was going to happen or if he was just a darn good guesser.

"Emnast, stay..." she calls already hungry for the sound of another's voice, any voice, even one that seems desgned to irritate her more than anything. She looks down at her hands and heaves a gusty sigh. "Stay while I eat, please?" she begs. "And tell me... why me?"
This was the one thing she has never understood. What or why Emnast would decide to chose someone as young and inexperienced as she. Knowing what she did of Kerobian's brother's past, she would have thought him more drawn to a maturer more experienced partner.

Shia nibbles her food but really doesn't have much of an appetite. To her surprise, he has not stinted on what he has given her though it is nowhere near as good as the food Kerobian had fixed from time to time in the void.
After a point, she merely gives up and secrets a roll and a piece of fruit to eat later if her finds herself alone and hungry. She has decided to beg for nothing from the shadowmage. She would refuse nothing either. It was a thin line she walked, a hair's breath between angering him and confusing him. She hoped it would be the latter. She does drink all the water he has given her though, hoping that when and if she needs to relieve herself, he will at least take her outside for that.

She cocks her head to one side and stares openly at him. "So you get your kicks out of having unwilling partners then. I've heard of the type, though I would have thought a mage of your stature would be above such a thing."

She turns and laughs at him. "You shouldn't ask like that. It's rather rude. And a complete put off at that." Then she decides to try a different approach. "I'll partner with you when you learn how to ask a woman properly." she says with a shrug. "And not one moment before."
