Don't apologize for not being cherry all the time. Anger is natural in these situations xD
Also, going to school again might not be bad. You'll feel like you're accomplishing something by getting another degree and not like you're just at a standstill. Besides, it'll give you a bit more experience with that career. So, if say a few months more goes by, and you're still getting nowhere, then maybe it's time to go back.
