Ai laughs. "Yeah... that might work... though Tam's way of dealing with things is what set off this last spat of behavior."

Ai sighs and shakes her head. "Just give him a heads up on the lying, please. No scare tactics... just the honest truth, then let him dig his own grave... oops, sorry, bad choice of words there. his grave would be your grave... But don't worry, I'll do the rest."

Ai nodded sadly. "Yes, it's true. I've always told you it was important for you to always tell the truth, but you were never really old enough to understand. Now you are. When I said serious business... I meant it, Kero. Please... don't do it, okay? Even a little white lie might be the feather that broke the camel's back. Think about what you are saying. If someone wants to know something you don't think they should know or you don't want to tell them, be creative. Like you were with intro me as your cousin. That was fairly safe. Ai chuckles softly. "You remind me of a fish trying to squirm off my hook. I'm not sick... I'm yer sira and yer dama... always have been just wasn't so noticeable. Tam had a secret he kept hidden from everyone. Ever wonder why he had no lovers or close friends like that. He talked a blue streak but did nothing. He figured if he talked the talk, no one would be the wiser. He was celibate for a reason, but it wasn't shame. He never knew how people would take it. And it was easy to hide. He was like a child in that department, so it didn't matter... but his vanity, if anything, should have given it away. That man was in love with his hair. But not sure what's going to happen now. When I was walking around as Tam these last few days, let's just say he's not going to go about shirtless any more until he's got his shapeshifting back under control." She sighs and shakes her head. "Man, I'm one messed up entity."

Ai nuzzles him back fondly. "I love you too, Kero. One's shape doesn't define who or what one is. It may help direct them down certain paths in life. A man cannot be a mother... normally that is." she laughs self consciously. "As a woman cannot normally be a father... but it should never get in the way of what they truly wish to do. Love embraces all, accepts all... perhaps that is why he made me the way I am."
