Shia finds herself roughly shoved into what feels at first to be dark room, with her bag landing with a soft plop at her feet. She turns to look at her captor but he's already turning away and closing the door to the room with a soft terrifyingly solid click. Willing a small flame into existence, Shia sees that the ground beneath her feet is just that, ground, and the room is actually a rough hewn man made cave. It cannot be underground for it is actually fairly warm and not at all damp, and it does have a window along with it's door but it is presently boarded up from the outside. The cave contains very little, just a sleeping pallet, a stool, and a small rickety table which holds and unlit candle shoved into a piece of stone to keep it erect. Shia quickly lights the candle and wishes she had thought to pack a cloak for the bed has no coverlet.

Then she drags her bag to the bed pulls out her doll, hides the books under the straw and leaves everything else inside it, to use as a pillow. Unfortunately none of this takes very long to do and Shia has no idea how long Emnast is going to let her stew there in the dark tiny cave, so she blows out the candle to conserve it's precious light and curls up around her doll on the bed in her fox form. As she lies there in the dark, she wonders how the wedding is going and when if ever, Emnast was going to show himself to her, realizing she's never truly gotten a good look at his face.

Shia hops from the bed and morphs into her more human form, knowing that to appear weak will only anger him at this moment. He is expecting defiance so she gives it to him, besides she really is a bit ticked off.

With her hands on her hips and a touch of angry fire in her eyes she berates him for his lousy timing, his lack of manners and his misconceptions.

"You are the most infuriating inconsiderate, poor excuse of sibling rivalry I have ever heard of. Yer brother gets married and ye decide to kidnap yerself a wife! Did it ever cross yer mind that maybe ye should ask the woman first! And on his wedding day too. I was so looking forward to seeing him and Tes make their vows."

None of which is a lie, for Shia had hoped she'd get to see at least part of the ceremony somehow.

Shia tosses he hair behind her shoulder and smirks. "Have ye ever tried asking? No, I can see ye haven't." She makes a display of looking about the room with a perfect pout on her face. "And if this is how ye treat yer lady friends I can see why they'd run and hide. Really now, a bit overblown, wouldn't you agree. Such opulence... it is simply too much for the senses to take in."

Shia sighs and collapses on her stool. "I'd rather not, thank you. I don't even know you, MASTER Emnast. Why would I climb into bed with you?"

Shia shifts to fox and goes back to her pallet. "Then I will simply have to get used to living in the ground, I suppose." she sends back in a sarcastic retort.

She pointedly curls up and ignores him, as if his presence there is of no consequence.

Shia sighs and shakes her head. "Uncle... uncle... I told ye he'd get angry...." She opens the bag to see if what he said was true. She had purposefully avoided taking any of those things so as to be dependent on Emnast. It would have made things more uncomfortable in the beginning but far easier in the end. Now she was going to have to find a new approach.

Shia looks up with tears in her eyes. "Th... thank you, Emnast..." she stammers. He snorts derisively at her and turns to leave.

"Emnast..." she says softly before he reaches the door. "You knew there was nothing more than my clothes in the bag, didn't you? Why... why did you lie to me?"
