Laughing she follows him out the gate and down the road toward the center of town. Ever so often he catches her glancing about when he's not looking, as if she was looking for something but doesn't seem to find it.
"Hey Kero, who's your girlfriend?" calls a neighbor as they pass by his yard.
Ai moans. "I don't think we should tell them who I am..." she whispers nervously. "Come up with a name, Kero... I'm too small for Ai and some people know that Ai and Tam are one and the smae."

"Agemaria?" grumbles Ai under her breath. "What kind of name is that?" Then she smiles brightly at the man and says. "Good afternoon, sirra. You have a pretty garden."

Ai follows him down the lane, still fuming at his choice of name. "Agemaria... where did you pull that name from... yer backside?" she grumbles under her breath. "Couldn't ye have come up with a better one than that? Like Aida or Abigail or... heaven only knows what, something I would find it easy to remember and respond to."

Ai blushes and sighs. "Sorry, I only met her once so long ago I forgot what she was called. Dang, I feel like a heel." she grumbles softly, shaking her head.

"I do to have a heel see it's right there on the back of my paw..." declares Ai sitting down in the middle of the path and sticking his paw in Kero's face. "See right there.. you have them too. We don't walk on them actually, but they're our heels."
*I looked it up. On the front leg it is the joint just behind the paw pad; on the back paw it is further up the leg, where it angles.*

She glares at him then stalks off down the path, her tail high in the air. "Hmph... the day I heel to you is the day..."

She picks up her paw and looks at it. "yep, still there, hasn't gone away that I know of." Then she darts around him, giggling and resumes her march into town, her tail waving like a flag, taunting him.

She snatches her tail back. "Ow... that hurt!" She glares at him and hisses. "I may be small but I'm no kid. Stop treating me like one."
