"Buff I wanna... it wooks wike fun...." demands Luna edging closer. Actually she really just wants him to finish so they can go swimming, but knows he won't leave a job half done.

Luna stares at him in dismay. How can anyone move any slower? Why would anyone want to. Deciding that the only way to get anything done is to do it herself she darts for the washtub, only to be swept safely out of the way at the very last second.
"What in the name of all that is Holy, do you think you are doing, little Miss?" demands Kero, his eyes wide with concern and no little consternation.
"I wanna go fiwshin'" moans Luna sadly. "An you taakin so wong.... Wuff gonna wasssh up fur you."
"Do you not see the steam?" he demands with a frown.
She hangs her dead sadly. "Buff it noff huwrt you..." she begins to argue.

Shaking his head, Kero sets Luna down on the ground, far away from that superheated pot.
"I can touch it because I have firemagic, Luna. It protects me from the heat of the water. Otherwise, I would have to let it cool too. Now, why don't you go play dollies with Mommy while I finish up with the dishes, and then we can go swimming, and perhaps try to catch some more fish as well. Does that sound good to you?"
With that, he releases her, shooing her towards Tes and Nimbus as he turns back to his own work.

Luna does play with Tes, but her heart isn't in it. She keeps looking back at Kero, watching him work alone and feeling bad. She knows she has frightened him and wants to apologize, but doesn't know how. Somehow just saying she was sorry doesn't seem right.
Tes smiles down at her and asks if she wants to go for a walk down to the water. "Do you have a good sunning rock? All dragons needs a sunning rock." she asks slipping Nimbus into a sling like carrier she has created from a towel and ushering the dragon out before her.
Luna half heartedly shows her about the area around the cave, the sunning rock and the funny carvings Luciel had put there to make her laugh. Then she takes her down by the water, feeling rather glum, only to find Kero sitting there, fishing with a rod, humming a little tune. Washing dishes with superheated water tends to make the job a whole lot faster. Chortling with happiness she runs and hugs his leg.
"I sowwy, Daddy... weawwy weawwy sowwy..." she whispers as he leans down to hug her back.

Smiling, Kero lifts her up into his arms, gently nuzzling her, rubbing his cheek against hers and filling her nostrils with his musky, myrrh-like scent. As he sets her on his lap, beginning to rub her back, he nods to her.
"There is nothing to be sorry for, Luna, but I accept your apology. Thank you for being a big girl and apologizing. But I still have to punish you, I am afraid. Are you ready?"
(((Not what you think...her punishment is to catch a fish big enough for him to cook lunch with...that isn't granddad)))

Luna nods slowly and closes her eyes, steeling herself for a spanking. She does her best to relax,m knowing it will only hurt even more if she tenses up, but somehow, this time, she can't. She knows she deserves to be punished big time and this time is determined not to be afraid and yet she is. Not because it will hurt, but because she doesn't want her daddy mad at her.

"Luna, do you remember what we talked about earlier? About when I would spank you?"

She nods slowly, refusing to meet him eye to eye. "Uhuh... buff I scawred you... I wuff weawwy bawd... you no get scawred unwess I weawwy bawd...." There are tears in her eyes as she nudges his hand, wanting him to get it over with.

Shaking his head and nodding to his wife, Kero gently pulls his daughter into his arms, nuzzling her again as he cuddles her close, enfolding them both in his tentacles.
"Luna, sweetie, why don't you and I go somewhere else, and talk. I think we need to just talk this out right now. Just you and me." He says, motioning for Tes to sit back down and play with Nimbus a bit as he stands up.
"Kero....just be gentle, okay? No Voidmaster nons..ulp!" Says Tes, as Kero silences her by blowing her a kiss, literally. She feels phantom lips lock on with hers for a few seconds, and when they release, Kero has already carried Luna deep into a cave and sat down with her on his lap.
"Luna, Luv. I think it's time we talked about something. Why do you keep thinking what you do is so very very bad?"

"cuz I am..." whispers Luna sadly, hanging her head. "I hurwt people and make dem sad... I scawred you... and Mommy too. She didn't say so, buff I know I did. I wanna hewp buff I do tings all wong. And... and..." her voice fades to silence and it seems she is holding something back, something that scares her very much.
