started reading the book but it wasn't anything like the film..so I gave up sweatdrop xp

yeh...watching the film first is always a mistake...which may be why I never finished Lord of the Rings xp

In my oppinon I would say watch the VHD movies before you read the books, because if you read the books first you're just going to hate the movie because of how far off from the books they are. And since I find the books to be much better then the movies, you're basicly saving the best for last. 3nodding
