Oooh, music! I like music! *braces self for mildly long post* My absotivily favorite genre of music is metal. To be more specific, prolly black metal. Because I'm scary like that. But I like a lot of different types of metal, like power and folk. Especially if it's in a different language.
I'll listen to pretty much anything, though. My mp3 player has mostly metal, jazz, classic and punk on it. I've loved classical music ever since I was forced into piano lessons and became a piano enthusiast.
The only types of music that I will not listen to are country and pop. Rap used to be on the list, but there's a few groups that is kinda rap-y that I like, so it's off the list.

What do you all think of band merchandise? I mean some people are really hardcore and I see that as pandering to commercialism with a hint of obsession. Now, I've never been into collecting band merchandise before except one Evanescence t-shirt but I don't really listen to them anymore. At the minute, I am looking at DragonForce stuff. There's a really kewl t-shirt and wristband but I'm broke cry . I'm not obsessed but I do want to represent the band as one of their fans so d'you guys think it would be acceptable? DragonForce Merchandise

I'm not keen on people decking themselves out in everything with their favourite band on...it's commercialism to me...however, I think it's less commercialism than wearing desginer t-shirt with brand names on and sports shirt with names on like Nike...that really is commercialism... I think a wristband or a t-shirt of a band you like is fine. I have 2 linkin Park ones...and I would love to have a few others of different bands. there's nothin wrong with that really.

lol nice. I could do with a summer job...just because I need some work experience to write down on my Personal Statment for university cause I haven't done any..never had a job sweatdrop but I don't really want to do anythin...cause the only jobs I could get without having got my exam results yet, is crappy jobs like working behind a counter or something sweatdrop
I've got an mp3 player..I'm not keen on Ipods..too overrated

yeah well I was offered it so I'm not complaining. But yeah I think they're overrated too. I mean an iPod nano 1GB is £140 whereas a 5GB Creative Zen is £116

I paid about...40 for my mp3 player and it holds 60 songs..about..2 or 3 hours worth of songs..which is enough for me, I don't listen to it that much so I don't need any more..

= 0 You have a Creative Zen? *is envious* I want one of the tiny ones in black, 5GB which is something like 1,000 songs I think. That would suit me down to the ground because at the minute, I have 2 albums that I have to be at home to listen to because I can't fit them on my stupid 512MB iPod!! cry *cries*
