Looking up again, Leigh noticed Anya coming towards them. She didn't look to well though. Oh no... what did she see?! She worried, more guilt eating at her. She pushed it aside, hating that feeling.
"Morning, Anya! How's it going? I hope you didn't over sleep; I was up early, but fixed your alarm to be extra sure you heard it. I'd feel terrible if you'd been late on our first day, just cause I let you sleep. Speaking of, we're about to be. Oh, I met Alex! He's been kind enough to keep me company this morning. You sure got lucky with him!"
Oh my god... I'm terrible! She's going to hate me. And so will he. Lovely first day this turned out to be. Leigh thought to herself, keeping the bright smile on her face and the guilt tightly stuffed down.

"I've seen a lot of different people in my time." She said simply. "You get to be able to know different habits and decipher when they're wearing a mask of false emotion." She sighed softly and licked her lips. "I hope we can be friends though. Or at least friendly acquaintances." She smiled happily. "It's been a while since I've had one."

Allowing for a small sigh to escape his lips, Velvanir shut the light from his world momentarilly to think through what Yuki had just said. "It's somewhat suprising that you've met enough people to be able to read emotions, and yet you haven't anyone of this status of 'friendly acquaintance' for quite some time." As skeptic as he was about Yuki for this moment, he still allowed a smile to reach his face, brightening his features slightly more. "I can be a friend of yours, yes, just forgive me if I do not come across as very social," Velvanir agreed to the request, again opening his eyes. It was not his wish to deny someone the right to befriend him, or at least the attempt to. Thus far, Yuki seemed a nice person to him and a trustworthy individual, or at least at this point she seemed such.

Looking his face over for a moment, she smiled brightly as well. "Thank you," She said, bowing her head slightly out of habit. "And.. don't worry. More people than you think are quite anti-social. Most just put up fronts to make others more comfortable. It could be viewed as admirable at times... but I prefer you just be honest." She nodded and turned to look out the window. "I've seen too many fake things as it is." She sighed out and slowly bit her lip.

[[Ooc: 'cause I'm totally on top of things. x.x;
I'll just start off from where I left off, seeing as it seems to still be just before school. Sorries for late-ness. Life's slightly hectic as of late. ><;]]
Continuing through the school lazily until reaching the busy caffeteria, the young man stopped at the entranceway, glancing around with distaste overly obvious in his facial expression.
Great.
Slinking along the wall, trying his best to go unnoticed and probably failing miserably against the multicolored backrounds, the dark-clad student slipped into a vacant seat at an empty table at the far back of the room. Sighing and crossing his arms on the table, he layed a tired head down, slightly glazed violet eyes running over the mass of chattering teens.
This drabble needs to learn to be quiet...It's like their jaws are on autopilot.
[[Annoyingly short post, but I'm slightly pressed for time at the moment. xD;]]

Anya could feel her face flush as she came to a stop in front of the pair and heard Leigh's greeting. Anya smiled back brightly. she clutched her purse in front of her as hard as she could. "Good morning yourself." Anya said in what she hoped was a convincing playful tone. "Thanks for setting my alarm and yes we are going to be late we better get on then."
Anya felt her heart rise in her throat and felt the sting of tears in the corners of her eyes. Okay don't cause a scence. Relax Relax She thought to herself until the feeling receeded. "I'm so glad you guys ran into each other." Anya said " Saves me some trouble there." She turned to face Alex "I've told her everything about you."
"well looks like we should head to class." Anya said weakly. "let's all go together."

Alex raised an eyebrow to Anya. "Oh, you have, have you?" Alex stated before smiling. "Well, that makes my morning even better than it already has been. Meeting Leigh was one of the first things that happened to me today, and if the day keeps on going like this, then I think that this day will be amazing." Alex said, rambling on a tad.
He looked to Leigh. "Um... I have English 2, I beleive." he said, thinking back to the schedule he had partially memorized. "Now, we best get moving, or we'll be late." Alex said, turning on his heel, and walking towards the school. He didn't bother to turn and wait for the two girls, knowing they would more than liekly follow him as he made his way to the front doors.

"Some of them are on the first floor, but a few are upstairs." Mizuki replied as she finished up her lunch and wiped her hands clean on a napkin. (Or was she done? I forget.) "Room 016 is on the first floor, I believe. I think they might have done a little remodeling during the summer, but I doubt anything has changed too much." She began piling all of the trash from her lunch back onto her tray then got up to dump it in the trash can. After setting the tray with the other used ones she walked back to the little table and sat back down, though she didn't swing her legs over the bench this time.
(( Gah, so short... ))

"Yes, she did tell me quite a bit." Leigh confirmed, surprised that he was admitting that meeting her had been a good part of his day. Then again, she supposed she shouldn't be surprised. It was the same for her as well.
She smiled when she heard his first class. "I have that too. What about you, Anya?" Leigh asked, even as she linked arms with her friend and followed after the object of both their affections.

"Mm, in that case, you guys go ahead. My first class is Advanced Literature, which isn't the same as yours... I'll head off to the office to find out about where my classes are. They seemed to have forgotten to give me that information. But first, the ladies' room." Rin smiled at Erin and Mizuki, then polished off the rest of her apple. Tossing the applecore in a garbage can, she lifted her bookbag off the seat. "See you two at lunch, then!" Waving, she walked off.
Unfortunately for Rin, just as she approached the door to the ladies' room near the back of the cafeteria, she slipped on a greasy plastic wrapper. A gasp of shock caught in her throat as she tried to regain balance and not fall onto the gross cafeteria floor. Reaching out, she grabbed the closest thing possible, and managed to crash onto a bench...and another person.
Dazed, she realized that she had both grabbed and fell against a person seated on the nearby bench. Her hands released their grip on the person's shirt. The other students around her looked up for a while, then turned back to their food and conversations. Rin started to blush, embarrassed, and distanced herself a little from the person, who turned out to be male, and resting his head on the table. She hoped he wasn't pissed off with her disturbance. "I'm so sorry! I slipped. Didn't mean to grab you like that..."

Self absorbed. Pompouse. Shy. Insomniac. Secretly a prep. Closet homosexual. Daft...
The dark young man's mind flicked idly through each description as his eyes fell on each person in turn, the judgemental violet orbs narrowed in distaste. Just as he'd expected, the students at this new school were no better than the unintelligent drabble at his last.
Optimist. Neat freak. Workoholic. Druggie. Worry-wart. Alchoh-
Before the youth's mind could label a slouched female with dyed black hair as an alchoholic, he felt something partially collide with him, making his body shift a bit to the side as his eyebrow twitched in annoyance. Other students looked in his direction, eyeing him and the other being atop him with quirked eyebrows and crazed expressions.
Taking a calming breath, he slowly raised his head, a few strands of shimmering black tresses falling in front of the violet spheres that turned to examine whatever, or whomever, had run into him. What the cat-dilated eyes met was a young woman, most likely in her Sophomore or Junior year, standing with a truly apologetic look on her face as she attempted to move away carefully.
"It's not a problem." came his melodious, smooth voice. As always, it was deathly calm, only able to be heard by her in the noisy cafeteria. Even so, it was still rather quiet. "Accidents happen, ne?"
Without his dilated pupils moving at all, he took in the attractive girl slowly. She seemed unlike the others around, mostly in that she was attractive, and aparently had an IQ of above seventy. What really got to the young man was that he couldn't give a name to her appearance. It troubled him slightly that he was unable to judge her as the others.
But no matter.
"In a hurry, I presume? First period doesn't commence for another fifteen minutes. Plenty of time to get where you need to go, silly." Accompanied with his voice this time was the smallest of smiles, his thin pallid lips quirking up ever-so slightly.

Rin was a little surprised when the boy looked up. Violet eyes? Are those real? Lost in her fascination, she almost didn't process what he had said. He was smiling a little--at least he wasn't angry or annoyed; he didn't show it if he was.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I guess there is. I was heading to the ladies'. People should learn to throw their garbage where it belongs." Looking around, she scowled at the greasy food wrapper. "I hope I didn't startle you too much, or hurt you at all."
She turned back to those mysterious eyes, framed by dark, black hair. "Fifteen minutes is time enough to at least conduct introductions." Smiling, she outstretched her hand toward him.
"I'm Rin. First year here, sophomore. And you?"

Aaron was about to get up and help Rin get out of her situation, but saw she had it under control. With a quick nod to Mizuki, he collected his things, got up, and went off to 016.
On the way toward his class, he examined the building. What an odd place it was. It didn't feel anything like what he expected it to. He expected it to be a lot less friendly - such were the places Sir normally chose - but it still had that unnerving tinge in the air that always hung around places that Sir frequented. It was either his power to poison the very air with his presence, or it might have been that Sir was just drawn to places with that quality - either way, it made Aaron shiver. But he put that out of his mind for now as he looked for 016.
