i have noticed that more girls like yaoi then boys....i haven't really met any guy who does actually....hell, i've met more gay guys then guys who like yaoi!
i think its because its natural for girls to think that homosexual relationships between boys are very arousing, much like how guys wouldn't mind two girls in a homosexual relationship, or at least in a pair....
its confusing but the bottom line is preference...both girls and guys i have met have found yaoi disturbing but i don't care and neither do my yaoi friends or my more open-minded friends....

I would say "Guys don't need to like yaoi cuz if we wanna be with a guy, we'll get with a guy."
But it just isn't that easy. =/
More girls like it because.....I guess they just like it. I don't wanna say that girls just like gay guys, but I don't really know.

Assured it ain't that easy. I mean I've been looking for a suitable good natured male, internet or otherwise, for about a year now and have had little luck. Oh there are easy pervs everywhere but curse me if I can find some commitment in the road of existence.
Mean to the while, I find the newly converted and quaintly curious of the male population are easy fans of the basic Yaoi movement because of the feminine look of the characters. Same as how they aim for the feminine in the community as well. Full on faggotry or experienced bi's while enjoying the basic yaoi start to head into the other genre that aren't so well known. Muscle love, chubby amusement, or even just the common yaoi if they realize that is the kind of man they like. You find yaoi fem fans may not stray to far from the feminine or slash pairings. Fills fangirl syndrome, might influence the female love of their own gender, and really everyone is interested with the strange...and homosexuality is still a strange thing to the world. That's just my opinion though.

For-Chan Cookie Yaoi is traditionally a genre for women, by women. Women like men. Women like romance. Women go wild for two beautiful men in romantic relationships. Add sex and it's a bonus. Yaoi is for women, by women. If men end up enjoying it, that's ok too, but they are not the target audience, we girls are. -------------------------------------------------I agree xD!-------------------------------------------------

The obsessors get a little overwhelming though.

It's not that straight (notice i said straight) boys aren't supposed to like/read yaoi. They just don't want to. Most straight men are horribly homophobic. lulz.
