{[Well...I sort of saw the similarities between them.]}
Alaci gasped and ran over to Midna, she lightly prodded Midna with her gray paw. Alaci swore silently, "If I were human I could do something," She thought angerly, she glared at the person who did this.
{[Oh and a heads up, I will be on vacation for a week...and there is no internet there. But I may be able to get on once or twice]}

Zant laughed at Midna's broken form. "Now you know not to go against the King of Twilight," he chuckled. "What a lovely zoo you have created."
Midna didn't bother shooting back a barbed comment. It felt like she had broken something. Several somethings. Black dots ate at her vision. "Ow," she muttered. "Now that... that stung." She winced when the cat poked her and glanced down at the small pool of grayish blood. She watched as it slowly turned black.
Zelda dropped to the ground. "What is wrong with you?!" she hissed, running over. "Are you insane?!"

One moment Eidolon was overseeing the completion of the tunnel escape being dug by the Hero of Time and the canine. When he checked behind him again, the Imp was lying in a puddle of what might be her blood. Might be? Of course its her blood, what the hell else would it be? The mysterious figure was approaching the downed Imp. Eidolon's gaze traveled farther upward to find...The Princess...Rappelling down from her castle...By a rope.
I really, really want to ask.
But now was not a time for questions! Only actions. One of the cats knew that, seeing as she had run over to check on the Imp. Knowing the dog, he would probably dart over there as well...The Hero of Time would likely rush to the downed Imp's assistance shortly before or after. Because that's what Heroes do.
It was high time Eidolon did something Hero-esque as well. That's what he had left the Grove for, anyway. Make a name for himself. Might as well start here. He couldn't dig holes or move very quickly, but he was very sneaky. Perhaps if he created a diversion it would allow the wounded Imp, the others, and the Princess time to escape. But what diversion could he possibly make? He's just a Cobra.
Hmph. Actually, that gave him an idea.
Without a word, Eidolon slithered off. He headed in the direction Zant had come from, but kept to the grass of the courtyard to keep from being seen. He then took a turn, approaching the feet of Zant from behind. The Usuper King would be far too preoccupied with taunting the wounded Imp and company to detect him.
Alright. Here's to doing something stupid.
And with that, the metallic Cobra gave a loud hiss. He lunged towards Zant's ankle, mouth open in an attempt to sink his metal fangs into it.

Viktor was almost done with the tunned and heard a cracking sound, along with a delayed hiss. He quickly shot out of the tunnel and saw Midna in a small pool of what appeared to be her blood. He then saw the metal cobra strike at the man's ankle.

Alaci looked over just in time to see the metal cobra take a bite out of Zant's leg. She frowned, hoping the cobra wouldn't get killed by the person. Alaci heard Midna, "Oh sorry," she mewed, knowing Midna wouldn't be able to understand her, she pulled her paw away, still concerned for the imp.

Zelda looked Midna over, her heart sinking when she saw the black blood. "The balance is off? Bad. Bad bad bad bad bad bad," she muttered frantically. "What do I do?"
Midna weakly turned her head. "Just get everyone out of here and take them to Ordon Spring. You can turn off the Triforce's power, right?"
Zelda blinked. "Yes."
"Then do it and get out of here. I'll be fine," Midna said. She closed her eyes and passed out.
Zelda shook her head. Midna was noble to a fault. "Liar," she muttered. "I'm guessing you mean me to leave you here, huh? No way."
Zant wanted to laugh, then something clattered against his metal boot. He glanced down at the metallic serpent feebly trying to pierce his armor. "Go away," he hissed, kicking the snake across the courtyard.
Zelda dodged the snake as it flew over her head, grabbing it before it hit the wall. She looked over at the wolf who had peered out of the tunnel. "Keep digging!" she shouted. "It's the only way any of us will make it out alive!"

Coremean paled at the sight of Midna. Viktor had bounded off to her side, leaving the tunnel unfinished. Coremean saw Eidolon slither over to Zant and try to distract him, and was flung to the side. He wasn't strong enough to do anything, but he was fast enough. Coremean ran and jumped onto Zant's head, quickly jumping off to avoid getting caught. He hissed at Zant as fiercely as he could. Good thing cats are small and agile, he thought nervously to himself.

"What the..." Zant said, surprised. He shook his helmet. "Get off me!"
Zelda grinned. "Good kitty." Hopefully that cat could distract him long enough for the tunnel to be finished. Then they could get out of the castle.

Link turned around just in time to witness the princess touch down on the ground and raced over to the fallen form of Midna. Curiosity and fear jolted his senses, and since the tunnel was almost complete, he dashed over towards the princess and her companion. A small whimper of sympathy escaped his throat as he gently nudged the limp Midna with his nose. He looked up at the princess, silently asking what he should do.

"Sssssssssshit!"
Eidolon hissed throughout his entire flight, only for it to be cut completely short when he was grabbed mid-air by the Princess. Lightning reflexes, rappelling down walls, she was just full of surprises, wasn't she? Eidolon wiggled around, trying to right himself as Zelda refused to put drop him. Come to think of it... No, she shouldn't drop him. Eidolon had had enough of falling on his head for one day. He would have to voice his concerns, even if she wouldn't understand them properly.
"Don't drop me! I've had enough head injuries today!"
Upside down, Eidolon glanced around, watching from his peculiar view as a cat jumped onto Zant's face, distracting him further. Stupid metal boots...If it weren't for those, he would've sunk his jaws in and it would've been a pain to get him out.

Zelda carefully set the snake right-side up on the ground. She stroked Link's head. "We need to get her out of here," she said. "Once the tunnel is done, you and the other wolf need to pull her through- carefully!- and I'll meet you on the other side. We need to get to Ordon Spring." Zelda gently lifted Midna from the ground and made her way over to the tunnel. She spared a glance for the cat distracting Zant. Just a little longer... she thought.

Coremean narrowly dodged Zant. Although every attempt to hit Coremean was getting more and more uncomfortably closer, Coremean continued to distract Zant. That's it Coremean, you got this, he thought to himself encouragingly. Just got to keep moving... Coremean looked over to Zelda and the others. Sweet almost done...

"Stupid wolves. Leave her behind." Rayne growled as he started digging where the two wolves left off. Someone needed to finish it, and Rayne sure wasn't interested in dying, at least without doing something. He dug a little further, and let out a whine when he found himself on the other side. Tunnel completed.

Zelda heard the whine. "Yes!" she murmured. She looked towards Link and Viktor. "Okay, pull her through the tunnel as carefully as you can, but be quick. I'll meet you on the other side."
Zant gave his head a good, strong shake. The cat sailed off his helmet and flew over the wall. Finally. He began tromping towards Zelda.
"Uh-oh," Zelda said. "Go and get her through," she told the wolves one last time before releasing her grasp on the Triforce of Wisdom. Immediately she felt her form grow smaller. It was a bit painful, but soon a snowy white owl ruffled its feathers in place of Zelda.

Coremean plopped heavily on the ground. He was exhausted. He smiled at the other animals. Not so useless now, he thought to himself.
