Marshall  Marcus was being completely serious...that fall pretty much erased his memory of what he said and the fight...just like what happened with his sisters...only he got hit by Officer Jenny on a motorcycle. Jacie couldn't help but smile at Marcus' enthusiasm. "You've got a point there." Jacie laughed and grabbed Marcus' arm and started running off towards the gym, back to her normal self. "Well then let's get going!"

Jacie barged right in through the automatic doors and stood with her feet apart and her left fist on her hip while her right hand was occupied making an L shape with her index finger and thumb and pointing directly at the referee. "We're here to battle your gym leader!"

The sound of Jacie's confidence shattering could be heard throughout the entire gym. "Oh. Okay then." she said with a shaky voice. Jacie jumped at the sound of a booming laugh coming from the back of the gym. Byron appeared from the back with his arms crossed.
"Is this my challenger?" Byron boomed happily.

Jacie blushed slightly at Marcus' comment.
"I like that attitude of yours, Little Miss." Byron said with a smile. "Let's see if you can uphold it in battle."
Before Jacie knew it she was standing on one side of the arena with Feraligatr standing in front of her and Byron with only his Steelix left.
"I certainly wasn't expecting things to go this poorly." he said with a frown.
Jacie ignored him and called out to Feraligatr. "Let's go, Feraligatr! Aqua Tail!" she smirked happily, as she knocked out the last of Steelix's energy. "Yes! Way to go, Buddy!" Jacie called as she ran up to Feraligatr and hugged him.
