Ai rests his head on his paws ans sighs. "I think you know what I did... I gave my heart to you... and took yours for my own... kind of made the father a bit concerned... not sure what he thought I was doing by doing so... all it did was give you a full life rather than the partial one ye had. Ye've been truly alive, Kero for a good twenty years now by some calendars... and my heart won't give out on ye like some do. Also, it won't affect who and what ye care for... It was my gifting... for all the good ye've done for me."

Ai sighs. "For many this would not be a punishment... I was called home, Kero. Bez can return, too, if he wants... but he has to try on his own. I can't try to bring him here... it has to be his own choice... there is a problem though."

Ai closes his eyes with a sigh. "The girls... they can't come... they're not locked out or anything... but they have to earn their place."

Ai smiles. "Thank you, Kero... it is a generous offer... truly it is... but if Bez does decide to come here, my body down there will fade... eventually dying... it's only a shell... not really me, after all. That maybe traumatic for them."

**Leaving in 5 minutes to go hear a community christmas program... all the churches and schools in the area are sending choirs to preform... it's really a lot of fun... and we'll be singing as well... everyone there, audience as well as performers... can ye guess what we're singing?"

"Might be the best solution..." Ai sighs and smiles at him. "This is not goodbye, Taro... not by a long shot."

Ai sighs and gives a mournful chuckle. "I know what this looks like... like I'm imprisoned or something, but I'm not... This is the lowest level of the kingdom... some call it the blessed plain... others limbo... but I'm not confined here by anything other than my desire to return. I'd show ye around, but well... yer lucky to have gotten this far. This... this is just as far out as I'm allowed to stray right now... Gabriel says I've been damaged and need to heal once more... I usually tell him in return he doesn't know what love is until he's experienced it for himself."

"Naw... Mike is the one ye'd get along with best... ye two have a lot in common, beginning with stubborn loyalties... anyway... I'm glad ye got through. It get lonely here... most move on by now... the girls come ever so often, but they need guidance to reach it... Ari says it's Em... I wish I could see Bez,,, but it is his own fear that keeps him away... and it is probably well founded. I suspect he knows that if he steps one foot in here... he won't want to go back either... and he truly loves those girls... so do I... but I've had longer to think things over... not much else to do here, except dream... and carve."
