Okay...that's the only main rule here...of course, I expect good behavior...but at your age, I don't think I need to explain what that is, do I? You know the drill...no fighting, no being mean, no stealing...the usual stuff.
Now, one thing I will stress: No lying. None. I am unable to lie, Passura...literally, I cannot tell a lie. I can bend the truth, slip through loopholes, yes. But speak an untruth...no...that I cannot do. I expect the same of you, okay?

He stares at Kerobian hard for several moments, and the mage gets the feeling that the child can see right through to the core of him, then he nods slowly once more. "Among my people lying is tantamount to one of the most gravest of sins." he sends and kero realizes that amongst a tribe of telepaths, lying would be rather difficult if not impossible and for anyone to attempt to do so it would like an open slap in the face.

Very well....I can understand your situation. Now, one final thing...I do have a very important job I do...so I may disappear for a day or so at a time...maybe more...there is nothing to worry about, I have simply gone to work. Do not follow me when I do so...okay?

Passura bows to her formally, then straightens and stares. Sidestepping a bit he stares at her tails in wonder. "Your... where's your wings?" he stammers without thinking, then blushes, a rather odd event as his scales turn a deep rich purple.
Lyssan laughs and answers him in a sibilant tongue. "I save my wings for special occasions only, young one. I'm surprised you know of them."

Tam is sitting, propped on the bed feeding Mara, Argeeis is sleeping beside him bundled in a blanket. He looks up at the mage and smiles sheepishly. "Ma says there was a shipwreck... she's lost the 'Corner'."

And I'll bet these people hanging around are the crew right now...ever since the Captain settled down with Jade again, it's been as if the ship were dying...but we're still here, and that is that...surely that must be a weird sensation....having them suckle like that, I mean?

Tam flashes him a tired grin. "Yeah... it was at first, but now it actually feels kind of good. If they don't feed, it hurts like hell." He places Mara over his shoulder to burp her and smiles over at Passura and Lyssan. Ye know... between you and Ma, Passura's got two people who have either been a reptile of some shape or form or were related to one. I mean I've dealt with his people before, but dealing is different than living with."

Tam laughs softly and shakes his head. "Actually, they are pretty much one of the most honorable of races, which is why they are often sought to serve as truth seekers. Not dried up old sticks but serious minded when needful. They kind of remind me of elves in a way. They tend to stick to themselves, probably because telepathy is their form of communication. Though I never thought I'd see a black one. They are a colorful race and most of their scales are patterned."
