She grins widely at his compliment, then says. "I ken awways makes mowr..." she teases wickedly. But it is obvious she isn't serious. "I knows how now...."

Laughing, Kero sweeps over to her, his cloak billowing behind him as he scoops the young dragon up into his arms, hugging her close and snuggling her, giving her the occasional kiss on the snout, just as a reminder that he truly loves her.
"How about we save that for tomorrow, okay, Luna? We need to save some toast for the rest of the trip, right?" He asks, gently laughing and snuggling her close, opening his arm to Tes to join into the big group snuggle hug.

Luna gets a bit crushed between them but she doesn't mind. She likes her Mommy and Daddy, even if they don't look like her. There is something suspiciously familiar, very dragonlike, about the scales of her Mommy and she knows her Daddy can be a dragon when he wants to. And her brother has a touch of the dragon in him as well. This much she can see. So even if their scales aren't ebony dark like hers, she doesn't care.
"Ken we goes fiwshin'?" she asks snaking her head up and out of the crush. What she really wants to do is play in the water, but doesn't know if anyone really wants to play with her out there. She knows that Daddy has to clean up after cooking and Mommy needs to take care of Nimbus. But if they see the romp as work, she might be able to talk one or the other into it.

Smiling, Kero nods to his little girl, gently kissing her head, right on her snout, his breath scented, as always, with Myrrh, the bittersweet aroma tickling her nostrils.
"Yes, my sweet little girl. We can indeed go fishing, after you finish helping me dry the dishes, and all the pans, okay?"
With that being said, Kero goes and heats water over the stove to wash off the dishes, since they definitely need it after being used to fry potatoes and bacon, then to cook eggs in. So they are more than filthy, and definitely could use a scrubbing.

Luna heaves a hefty "Awwwwww..", but doesn't argue. That is until he places a pans in front of her to dry that is clearly three times her size. She gives it an ugly look and grumbles under her breath. "Wuff he wan me to do, get in it?"

The instant he hears that, Kero picks Luna up in one of his tentacles, and plunks her down in the pan, swinging her up and frowning, as if to himself.
"Hmmm...seems I missed something when I scrubbed this one...oh well." he says, humming as he moves like he is going to put the pan, with Luna inside, back into the warm soapy water.

She gives a yelp and frantically tries to fly out of the pot, but somehow his hands seems to always be in the way. "Daddy, I no need baff.... I gots a good wallow in yestaday.... din swam in the goon...."
"Goon?" repeats Kero with a twisted grin.
"I think she mean LA goon.... the word is Lagoon, Luna... and did you use soap when you got clean yesterday?" asks Tes wisely.
Luna peeks over the edge of the pot, standing on her tip toes. "Ummmm...."

With that, one of Kero's tentacles rises out of the water, and splashes Luna, ever so slightly, with the warm, soapy water.

Smiling, Kero dunks her in the water, and she realizes his soap doesn't smell at all. It's just soap. With that being done, all six of his tentacles come up, each one holding a brush or a rag...and in one case a rubber duck.

She snatches at the duck with a chortle of glee. Luna really doesn't mind taking a bath, it's the soap that always seems to aggrevate her nose.
Tes watches their hijinks with a troubled smile. "Kero, love, you are spoiling her something terrible, I"m afraid."
Kero nods. "I know... I also know that she needs all the happiness she can get now... it may be scarce and hard to find for her later on."

And so he continues to bathe Luna, scrubbing her down with his tentacles, and playing with her as well.

Luna plays happily while he bathes her, giving no sign she's over heard Tes' words, but she has and she is curious about the term spoiling. She knows that when milk spoils it smells sour and tastes terrible, but it doesn't make any sense to her to have a bath spoil someone... so she files the thought away, to mull over later. Right now she's having too much fun.

Finally, though, the bath is over, and as Kero towels Luna off, rubbing her down with a large fluffy rectangle of cloth, he reminds her that she does have chores to do. Cutting over her groans, he reminds her,
"Luna, we all have chores to do, even Tes. Yours aren't all that onerous, so finish them up and then we can go out and play and swim and have a lot of fun."
With that, he sets her back down, handing her the dishtowel once more, smiling at her and then turning away and going back to washing the dishes.

Luna scratches her head in confusion. Didn't Daddy just give her a bath in that water? Everyone knew that you don't wash dishes in bath water, right.
Tes sees her confusion and points to the fire Kero has burning just under the dishwater. It is blazing hot and the steam rising from the water is far denser than it had been during her bath. "Daddy is killing all those nasty germs even as he washes the dishes, dear one." says Tes picking up a second towel and helping her dry the dishes, but there is very little left to dry. Most of the utensils are dry within moments of being washed.
Luna's eyes almost pop out of her head. "Dat watar Howt! you gonna get buwned!"
