My apologies for being late this evening sweatdrop something came up in real life... sorry.
Because I was late updating today, everyone will be granted an additional 35 min for posting there submissions tomorrow. To make up for the time.

 If I look at this for one more second I'm going to scream. (Also, why does my scanner make everything so BRIGHT? I try to adjust but it's hard to know what will look good on other monitors, even with checking... This is why I usually work in grayscale. sweatdrop )

theme: dance time: umm... 2 hours, i guess. haha i just watched ouran high school host club and saw the scene where tamaki and haruhi are dancing whee so yeah.... it was basically based on their poses in that scene, except i had them looking up/down at each other http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn94/Lord_Hebi-chan/SCAN0212.jpg

It occurred to me when I sat down to take this photo that attempting to take a picture of a black horse in the middle of the night is not the most brilliant plan anyone has ever come up with. XDDD Oops! Doubly so when you take into account the fact my lamp burnt out a few days ago so I had no way to light this except with the flash of my camera, which is really good at making reflections at close range. I should have grabbed my telephoto and put the painting at the other end of the room... but I've put the camera away now and I'm posting this, damnit! Also, I totally ended up obscuring most of the horse anatomy with the choice of the color black, after I spent all that time sketching it out. Oops again. The colors are so bright and warm~~ I actually expected it to be a bit darker xDD; (As in a bit eerie/scary??) I dunno why, maybe it's because I've been watching Soul Eater, so everything I think of is kinda on the dark side sweatdrop
Nevertheless, I love the background with the three different shades of green.
A beautiful job on the vines as well~ what medium did you use? > o <
His strong back makes me want to lean against it, and just simply rest in the strong-ness~ <33
