Silence WAS a bit interested in what was down there. Then again, maybe they had more important things to do.

"Great." Link mumbled quickly, drawing his sword to defeat more guards. They just kept coming. Ugh he would need to do it the old fashion way and run. "Ignore them. Just run!" He mumbled quickly as he ran into the castle itself right through the front doors.

Zelda looked like a hot mess. The bottom of her dress was slightly torn from stepping on it many times while running. Her hair fell out of it's braid, and was flying around her shoulders as she ran. She was red faced, and out if breath from running. She held the element tightly in her hands as she ran. She didn't want the guards, who were once her loyal servants, to catch her, as she would certainly be jailed and maybe even executed. As Zelda ran to the entrance, she saw Link and waved at him, holding the element in the other hand. When a guard lunged at her, she drew her rapier and threw it like a bomarang at the guards. She knew it would come back to her.

Link squinted so he could see what she was holding. The element? "Zelda... how did you-" Link shook his head and ran up to her. He didn't bother to finish his question. What was the need? Time wasn't on their side at the moment.

Zelda shook her head. "No time. It is a long, complicated story. Plus I have been running for so long I forget most of what I did..." She looked at the frayed ends of her dress. "Look how often I tripped on my own feet."

He merely laugh. He never intended too... but it was so innoncent when everything around them was so depressing. Perhaps all this hero stuff made him insane. When he calmed down, he take her hand and lead her down the path that Analynn had showed him just a few minutes ago. "We have to go down here..."

Zelda nodded. She smiled back at him out if habit, then started to walk with him. She squeezed his hand a bit, as she was worried but happy to be holding Link's hand.

"What are you smiling about?" Link mumbled as he ran down the staircase that lead to the santuary. He tuned left at the fork where Adalynn had guided him earlier.
