Kero...Kero's gone back to the Void. Bez is gone too...claimed when I scolded him on his handling of Kero that I didn't care about Ai...only about Kero. What he forgot is that I can sense Kero's emotions. What he did down there, being sarcastic towards him, then hitting him where it hurt, was the worst thing he could have done. I would have had things under control, and Kero in here, apologizing profusely as he cried from guilt, had Mr. I-gotta-make-my-point not interfered.
*Hope is very near tears...Kero is dead to him, now, their connection blocked by the Void, where Kero is still crying*
**Any character...pick someone...as I said, it reverberates throughout the ENITIRE Void. That means it could be Jor, could be Bez, could be Ame or Lyssan, could even be Kev or Shia. Hell, it could even be Rhea**

A dark undulating shape seeks him out, curling about him sheltering him from the voidic emptiness and waits until he gets his act together. Not a very patient waiting though. Jor has never been one for patience.

*Kero finally feels himself lifted out of the Void, placed squarely in front of Shar, where he is still weeping, berating himself under his breath for his stupidity, where everyone can hear him. He's guilty, alright...guilty as sin...wishing that he could fix things, but not knowing how*

Sharmistra kneels down before him and taking the hem of her sleeve wipes his face. "Welcome back... seems you took a detour coming up the stairs." she remarks lightly, waiting for him to calm down.

"Shar holds him close, eventually angling him onto the side of the bed, helping him to sit down. "There... there... you've had a rough few days, haven't you... and no one to talk to about it either." She sits down beside him and cuddles him close, but she's actually making it easier for him to get a glimpse of Ai as well, knowing he needs to see his Damasira. (not because of the harm he's done to her, but because he needs her...)

Shar gently shoves Hopian down the stairs and closes the trap behind her as she joins him. "Let's hope this works. Bez couldn't reach her, but her connection to Kero is on a different level. His distress may be just what she needs. Now what is this about Bez leaving?" she demands turning about to stare the white lion down.

*Hope growls lightly...not at her, but at the mempory*
I scolded him mon his handling of Kero...he claimed that Kero's actions undid a lot of hard work, then turned around and proceeded to alienate him further, calling him a coward and insinuating words that, to our kind, are grave insults. You do not call a miner cowardly or childish, even if they are. It just isn't done. But Bez also was angry over a snarky comment Kero made, but Bez invited it as well. Kero was crying his eyes out because he felt like Tam hated him, and hadn't even bothered to fix his instruments. He didn't know Tam was catatonic. And for Bez to simply call him a Drama Queen...well, wrong choice of words on the angel's part.

Shar sighs. "Master Hopian... you need to remember that Bez is not you... nor will he ever be you. The code he lives by is not your code and that is his mate up there in that room, whom he wasn't so sure he'll ever get to hold or love again. He's lived by a code of live and let live for so long... but he's not one to accept slights. Unlike Ai, he has and will kill to protect those he loves. And as far as he's concerned... Kero needs to grow up... and as much as it pains me to agree with him, he does. Ai has sheltered the hell out of that cub. And face it, you have, too. You need to stop making excuses for him... You need to stop saying things like I could feel what Kero is going through... so therefore everyone else is wrong. o one else can feel those things you two share... does that make them wrong when they voice an opinion... no. Kero needs to be able to face those things he's done, face it and accept it... not be coddled because he feels bad. Maybe Bez came on a little too strong, but I'm not so sure his methods were that far off of what Kero needed. He can't keep running away. Now... I'm going to go make a pot of tea, would you like some?"

No. I must return to my family. And when you live the life of your sibling, tied to him so closely that everything they feel, you feel, then you may scold. I make no excuses. What Kero did was wrong. I had no intention of coddling that cub. But I can see that, as always, my cries are falling on deaf ears. I simply say this. You claim Bez would kill to protect his mate. I would kill to protect Kero. That is the long and short of it.
*Before Shar can retort, Hope dissolves into sparks, some of them landing on her and leaving her hair standing on end after an unpleasant shock as Hopian vanishes into thin air*

She shrugs and goes to the kitchen. Every healer knew that soul bonds were a trouble lot. Most of them were unhealthy relationships that fed off of each other, and the bond between Kero and his brother was proving to be one of those. That wasn't to say good things did not come from it, but the dependence it fostered would eventually be their downfall.
Upstairs Kero is struggling to heal his sira, who is slowly coming to, dazed, confused, and deeply troubled herself.
