The two angels stare at each other and Tam begins to laugh nervously. Bez can't believe his eyes. "I don'ot see what's so funy here, Talesian,* he growls savagely.

"I... I forgot... I was trying... I wanted you to... but the void strips pretensions... I..." he shakes his head and sighs. "Does it matter?" he begs quietly. I was doing it for you, Bez."

Bez stares at him in surprise. "You were trying to be a woman for me?" he exclaims with a frown. "But Tam, don't you realize by now... I don't care what you are... as long as you're you."

He pulls the smaller angel close and kisses her forehead. "Dulcha, I love you. I will always love you, no matter what shape you where or how old you are or any of that nonsense. So is this permanent?"

Tam quickly shakes his head no and curls up against his swedh. "I'll be myself soon enough, but should we waste it?"

Bez's rough laughter almost takes him by surprise. "Talesian, dear heart, that spell was wasted from the start, but we're together and right now that is all that matters." Then he picks Tam up in his arms and walks towards the trees. "I feel a little exposed out here, let's go someplace a little more private, shall we."

Some time later, a long time later actually, Talesian walkes out of the small forest and sits by the water. Leaning down he trails his fingertips in the water. "Thank you, old friend." he murmurs softly.

"Who are you talking to?" asks Bez coming up form behind him. He sits down beside him and encircles him with his arm.

"The dark side of my soul, who else..." laughs Talesian softly leaning into his embrace. He sighs and looks up at the sky. "What happens now, Bez?"

"What a dumb question..." laughs Bez good naturedly. "You come with me, back to my home. You have run form me for the last time Talesian. Seriously. I'm not going to let you go again."

Talesian sighs. "I was afraid you would say that. Bez I have responsibilities, people who rely on me..."

"Then they will just have to find someone else to rely on. I won't make you stay forever, Tam... but I've just got you back. Surely you aren't expecting me to stand back while ye run away again... I can't.. you can't..." He tips up Talesian's chin and kisses him lightly on the lips. "And wasn't I right? It really doesn't matter does it?"

Tam shakes his head no and cuddles close to his swedh, leaning against him whle he watches the silvery fish glide beneath the water.

Tam's laugh startles Bez for a moment, then he stands up and pulls the smoke colored angel to his feet. "Shall we go home, dulcha? I've never seen your place, though ye've invaded mine often enough." he grins crookedly to show he teasing and slips easily into Bez's embrace.

Smokey feathers envelop them both and they fade form view, leaving only a scattering of feathers, both grey and white, dotting the shore.

Shia walks into the office and looks at Rhea funnily. "I thought I heard you talking to someone. You beginning to talk to yourself now, Rhea. I know doing all of Uncle Kero's work is tough. I said I'd help, but ye refuse to let me do anything. What's wrong now?"

"Uncle Kero is back? Was Tam with him? My brother said he'd come back for dinner when they were through. I better get busy and cook him something nice."

Shia starts to run form the room but Rhea stops her.

Shia pouts. "But he said he'd be back. Darn. I wonder where he is. I... I gues Uncle Kero would have said something if he was hurt or something. Well, I'm going to bed now too, Rhea, and yea the kids are all out like a light. They wore themselves out playing tag, remember? Good night."

Shia wakes up and decides to make everyone breakfast. As she goes into the kitchen she hears noise from the main room. Peeking in she finds Kero, curled up inb front of the tv battling droids ro whatever it was on the tv at the moment.

"Kero... do you want to come give me a hand here?" she asks knowing he'll get in trouble if Rhea finds him there.
